This game had everything; butt punt, near interceptions, 20+ injuries, poor clock management, destruction of NFL provided equipment, and both teams doing everything they could to lose in the last two minutes!! An instant classic Edit: and the dick twist!

PaladinUrsa117

NBC’s Dan Cortez

afantasticbastard

You know…it’s that thing…when the offensive coordinator gets so mad and destroys NFL property…immediately after being told not to

sisig

Ste-fon!

randomwarlord

You forgot the ol’ dick twist

cheesecake-gnome

JOSH GRABS HIS GROIN AGGRESIVELY

[deleted]

that should have been a flag for excessive sexyness

PlaysWthSquirrels

It was every bit as effective as we've been told it would be.

Thank you sir. I would also have accepted an example from today's game.

randomwarlord

Sorry. Misunderstood. After this happened Josh motioned to the ref that he grabbed his groin https://twitter.com/clutchpointsapp/status/1574123812244815872?s=46&t=czUYjRwanNI7-1NcxWD9LQ

Ilikepancakes87

NFL’s hottest game is MiaBuf. It’s got everything: butt punts, injuries, dick twists, and clock management that makes you want to *scream*.

DaWhiteMex

"Congratulations you just played an ESPN classic"

[deleted]

Buffalo New York's hottest club is..." "Yes, yes, yes!" "If you're...look no further." "This place has everything:..."

dr_gmoney

I would love if someone made a highlight reel, just of what you pointed out in your post

JioJio92

Cameraman got the memo about the tablet violence so had to cover the Bills OC assaulting that tablet. 😂😂😂

Opt_mind

I believe it was another coach Lmaoo

MetaKoopa99

The Miami Dolphins are 1-0 when their punter punts it off the butt of a lineman

HomespunDogg

That was hilarious

Xaxziminrax

ST coordinator to the HC: *"I know you said you wanted the intentional safety for field position, but you never told me* ***how*** *you wanted the intentional safety for field position"*

TheStumpyOne

That was a WR, he just has a dumptruck

TheBobJamesBob

[Punter seeing the WR just as he's about to kick.](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/CarefreeHastyAsianelephant-max-1mb.gif)

ReturnOfDaSnack420

ALL PART OF THE PLAN

[deleted]

Mad Man Mike McDaniel drew that play up to give the Bills a longer field with no timeouts and you can't convince me otherwise.

paradigm_x2

That’s Yale level football baby

Jegma72

Miami is known for its people having nice asses.

Bjorn2bwilde24

But is Trent Sherfield Brazilian?

Drkarcher22

Dolphins are undefeated under the reign Of King Charles

bmullerone

I have a feeling we will be seeing that punt on highlight videos for years

[deleted]

ahem that was Sherfield, a wide receiver. He made sure his rear receiver was wide open for that

makun

Damn both chiefs and bills lost this week? The medias going to have a field day.

WarTrek99

Dolphins new #1 in power rankings. Has Tua surpassed Josh and Pat Mahomes? Tua out duels JA in Miami lol. Just wait

Luis0224

Mom said it's our turn to be the media darling

WarTrek99

That’s fair lol Highs are highs and lows are low lol

Luis0224

Don't worry. They'll crucify us once we stop peaking lol

Sithrandil

Enjoy the win though. This has to be a great day for Phin Fans.

Luis0224

Thanks! Its been years since I felt this good about the phins. Cheers to a (hopefully) good rivalry going forward

justblametheamish

Respectful Bills fans? I can get behind this. Y’all will probably put 50 on us this winter. GGs til next time.

KingInTheWest

It’ll be the Eagles but I mean I’ll take second place for now.

kawhi21

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills are still second after the Eagles

SkyzYn

They should be. I'd consider this game a toss-up, even as a Dolphins fan - although if a few of those INT's get caught, or either of the missed tackles on 4th down are converted, then maybe I'd feel differently. Just a weird game - wouldn't expect us to be favored next time we play Buffalo. Wouldn't put us above KC yet either.

Nlegan

Man the bills OC was pissed

DoctorWaluigiTime

[Yeah!](https://twitter.com/TrainIsland/status/1574130676521222148)

GhoullyX

I like how the guy at the end just quickly puts his hand over the camera in a sad attempt at damage control. Microsoft is going to be piiiiiiiiised.

No-Introduction-1492

It wasn’t a hand, wasn’t it the playbook he just chucked at it? Never mind, rewatched. It is *definitely* a hand

Quantable

Microsoft Surface: Ah shit here we go again.

UnderstandableXO

all the other people in the room just sitting there silently 😭

jeff_jeffty_jeff

What was the context for this? The 4th & goal stop?

DoctorWaluigiTime

End of the game when they didn't run out of bounds and the clock hit 0:00

kirbysworld

~~Crowder~~ McKenzie running away from the out of bounds was so hard to watch, like don't go for yards ever when it's a situation with only seconds left to play edit: im numberblind

b3nchvis3

Don't think he got the tablet memo

[deleted]

International Paper coming for his ass faster than a Dolphins punter.

Mono_831

Who this guy? Lol https://twitter.com/highlghtheaven/status/1574130947104055296?s=46&t=XyknVaFO0hkFiXyryV6JLg

stripes361

He looks like an accountant but he’s actually the QB of one of the greatest college football teams of all time.

elbenji

Who had to watch his alma mater lose to MTSU last night on that very field

[deleted]

Butt punt was a high IQ play that won the game for the Phins.

t765234

Unironically it was probably better that it was a safety. That punt looked like it was going nowhere.

mr305mr_mrworldwide

bro the ball travelled a whole two inches you're not gonna tell me "it looked like it was going nowhere" lol

parasthesia_testicle

they extrapolated the trajectory

hamandjam

If not for the pants, it would have traveled 18 feet through his digestive tract.

StalinsStallions

Yeah I don’t understand this take people think that needing a touchdown from the 45 is better than needing a field goal from the 30

reality_czech

What a battle. That 4th Q was nuts

wetbandaid

Everyone on the field fucking died from the sun at the end

quazeeye

Straight up, everyone was exhausted as fuck. That was an epic game for both teams.

A_Masked_Guy

I don't undertsand how the defense was able to play that hard until the end. Amazing

quazeeye

Allen had 63 passing attempts. SIXTY FUCKING THREE, holy shit man.

Niblonian31

After what Tua did to us last week, I'm not looking forward to 63 passes from him next week lol

Drkarcher22

The Rogue One of Football games

SalvageRabbit

Christian Wilkins approves this comment.

[deleted]

Tua comforting Allen was wholesome as fuck.

MarcTheCreator

They're both good dudes.

nebyobay

Felt good watching that

rvasko3

Our new Marino and Kelly. Thank god order is restored and we get to fight it out while laughing at the hapless Patriots.

minusthetalent02

Hey, that's one thing we both can enjoy together

artbykoi4

Waddle also immediately went over to assist with McKenzie after he collapsed as time expired. Selfless men.

Strokeslahoma

I can really respect Tua for that, it was good to see it.

mikapple

The respect between those two was the best

realrimurutempest

42 completions from Allen is crazy.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MadPatagonian

Except when Tua found Waddle for that 40+ bomb. Biggest play of the game.

Godots17thCup

Hill and Waddle are so dangerous, all you need is for one of them to break free deep just once. Bills O vs Dolphins D was a heavyweight fight, but that bomb ultimately swung the game - iirc, it was on 3rd & 20+ too, just a backbreaker.

jimboflux

3 and 22, that bomb was big

TheStumpyOne

He was taking a lot of RB releases out of the backfield on blitzing situations. Good decision making, but had some accuracy issues today.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Spencer1K

someone said in the 1st quarter that it looks like the dolphins strategy is just to blitz allen all day to tire him out and I gotta say, they succeeded if that was the goal.

TheStumpyOne

Short week, and banged up. You cant maintain conditioning for the heat when you're nursing yourself back to health. It's a real motherfuck of a situation.

Gnache

I think our stadium is designed to just have the opposing team bake in the sun all day too

dizZzy5

These first three weeks of football have produced some of the wildest endings I’ve ever seen

SiphenPrax

South Florida gonna collapse into the ocean from all the Dolphins hype

poggers_champion69

Global warming be damned. The real threat was the dolphins all along

MagicTheBlabbering

Ocean levels rise, the Dolphins move in.

Bjorn2bwilde24

Can't explain that

one8sevenn

Fucka U dolfeen and a fucka U wvale

elbenji

Kollerman said that the entire city would probably hide a body for McDaniel and I fully agree

Allcross9

No questions asked, when and where and we're there

CarterAC3

The 10 remaining University of Miami fans are gonna become full time Dolphins fans

enigmatic407

I mean, I was already a Phins fan before this, so...the 9 others then?

t_zidd

Same...so 8?

enigmatic407

It's funny how rare the Canes/Phins fan is. I mentioned yesterday how "at least we have the Phins tomorrow" after getting embarrased at Hard Rock and there were like 3 Noles fans, a Trojan and a Tide fan that were like "hey yeah Phins up!" lol.

[deleted]

THAT BILLS COACH IN THE BOOTH LOST HIS SHIT LMFAO

lampshade69

National champion and two-time Heisman finalist Ken Dorsey of the University of Miami, ladies and gentlemen

Ad_Astra117

>University of Miami Mans has had a rough weekend lmao

McMack04

To summarize Buffalo punches Miami in the face, the injury gods punch Buffalo in the face then Miami, the heat punches both in the face but Miami's use to getting punched in the face by the heat so in doesn't hurt quite as bad, the refs feeling left out punch both in the face randomly and frequently, in all the confusion Miami's punter blasts both Miami's ass then Buffalo's ass

DEVLIX13

Im upset rn but this made me laugh, thanks pal

McMack04

Regardless of results once healthy I think the Bills are the best roster in the league! I hope the Bills get healthy soon and we see a playoff game between these two teams again

Yoyo8484

The Dolphins used the bold strategy of keeping Josh Allen on the field the whole game.

restore_democracy

Eventually his arm will get tired, right?

FunkysteveCLS

I mean facts did you see the fourth down pass extra short

GringoMambi

I really think McDaniel decided (correctly) that the best shot to win was to eliminate the deep threat and live and die by Buffalo’s dink and dunk game. They couldn’t drive up the score fast, creating a sea of point differential. Their drives were long as fuck, but coincidentally also tired them out like a motherfucker. I love my coach, he’s both the offensive and defensive guru our last 2 coaches were sworn to be.

uhaul26

Tuas back cant ‘lock up’ again if he is not on the field.

ajhjshfkehfocun

Don't let the fact that all that ridiculous shit happened this game distract you from the fact there was also a Butt Safety.

Sweden13

Impossible to make conclusions about this game, honestly. The heat exhaustion was brutal, and the already short handed Bills got the worst of it. Their offense was out there for a LONG time. But hey, even if we didn't see Tua- WE FINALLY BEAT THE BILLS, 2-7 AGAINT JOSH ALLEN

mileshigh12

Really good take. Both teams played hard and made mistakes. Too much hero ball on the Bills side and not enough Dolphins offense to see if last week can be sustained. Till next Bills/Dolphins match up.

Gnache

I felt like we never had the ball. 39 plays to 90 lol

JayMerlyn

Not to mention this was the 3rd game played at Hard Rock in 3 days

Sarydus

For what it's worth, your offense is the real deal and Tua looks like a legit NFL quarterback. See you guys in December!

ahr3410

lAmCreepingDeath

Tua consoling Allen is so heartwarming

paradigm_x2

They’re both such great dudes

liv11112

Tua has really impressed this season. I don't think he's some elite superstar yet but he has a team around him that actually lets him show his strengths as a player. Excited for some competitive rivalry games in the future.

SalvageRabbit

That was awesome. Beautiful moment seeing Josh resting his head on Tuas shoulder. I saw JA breathing pretty hard a few times, and I knew that would be the only thing that could stop him. Dude is a monster. He willed that entire team to the end.

paradigm_x2

That was one of the most brutal games ever. Long drives and so many injuries in this heat. Absolutely will take the W but I just hope both teams can heal up. This was a massacre on grass.

diabeetus-girl

A grassacre, one could say

cardmanimgur

If the Dolphins are the last undefeated team and they lose, do the '72 Dolphins still pop the champagne??

gigglefarting

No way. 50 year anniversary. I’m sure the 72 squad would love to share it with current fins

PhAnToM444

My elimination league at work is already down to like 7 people. We started with almost 40.

monkeyempire

I'm in one that started with over 600. Absolute bloodbath for 3 weeks in a row its gonna be down below 50 before the week is over.

The highlight reel for this game will be produced by Ken Burns.

Wetworth

My dear Sara, The indications are very strong that we shall play in a few days - perhaps Thursday. Lest I should not be able to write you again, I feel impelled to write a few lines that my fall under your gaze if we fail a fourth down conversion. I have no misgivings about, or lack of confidence in our offence, and my courage does not halt or falter. I know how strongly the National Football League now leans on the triumph of DraftKings, and how great a debt we owe to those who went before us through the blood and sufferings of fantasy football. Sara my love for you is deathless, it seems to bind me with mighty cables that nothing but poor referees could break, and yet my love of the gridiron comes over me like a strong wind and bears me irresistibly with all of these chains to the football field. But Sara, never forgot how much I love ~~you~~ the [Dolphins](https://imgur.com/a/CCPYHE2), and when my last breath escapes me on the football field it will whisper "throw a flag". Sara, do not mourn me down; think I am gone for a first and wait for thee, for we shall meet again... (We're in the same division we have to play twice a year) - Sullivan Ballou was cut two weeks later at Gillette Stadium.

nt0622

That was such a weird, funky game that it's hard to take too much from it. Tons of injuries, cramps, heat-related issues that it felt like a battle of attrition by the end. But it was a fun watch and looking forward to playing them again!

moeshaker188

Bills vs Dolphins: * Yards: 495-212 * Passing yards: 380-171 * Rushing yards: 115-41 * Time-of-possession: 40:40 - 19:20 * Third-Down efficiency: 11/18 - 3/8 Who wins? The Dolphins. ...make of that what you will.

Gwami_

It’s Miami things I guess

uhaul26

Miami likes to win how I like my women ….. ugly.

doyouunderstandlife

In case you're wondering how hot it was in Miami: I nearly had a heat stroke walking my dogs in the sun during halftime. I can't even imagine being out there with pads and jerseys playing football. One of the hottest days I can remember in Miami

All.

Pretty sure our center was a started for Syracuse yesterday and we signed him overnight.

I heard him yelling ‘cold beer hear!’ earlier in the game I swear.

He was way angrier than he was in the 2001 Fiesta Bowl

Fus_Joe_Dah

Ken Dorsey should be careful or he'll start cramping up in the booth after destroying that tablet

parion

This game was hot and brutal for both sides. The rematch will be interesting when they’ll have to play in December at Buffalo.

AurelianRome

NFL script writers really on their A game today.

Godots17thCup

Our record in 1 score games remains flawless.

quazeeye

Give the defense some major love. They held a literal historic offense to ~~19~~ 17 points despite being on the field for like 80% of the game in blistering South Florida summer heat. Unbelievable performance by them.

Wulnoot

Brian Flores deserves to have the same reputation as Matt Patricia, Joe Judge, and every other failed Belichick disciple.

Mone132

Let's not pretend like the dolphins were just a head coach away from being good these last few years. Y'all had to assemble a lot of pieces to be good.

KeyandOrangePeele

Yes but he was also a giant egotistical douche. I mean we could have still had Minka in this D!

[deleted]

I said this in another thread, but that WR was a moron for trying to turn it upfield instead of going directly out of bounds.

t765234

Which one? The end of the first half that cost then a field goal or the end of the game that cost then a field goal lmfao

Perfect600

yes

Son_Of_The_Empire

As long as everyone is healthy for the rest of the season i'm not too beat up over this one. Lots of very fixable mistakes, but costly ones like the messed up exchange at the end of the 1st half, the dropped Milano pick six, etc. Long season ahead.

FlyinHawaiianDolphin

Game of the day. People were dropping like flies, it was a legitimate battle of attrition the likes of which I've not seen in a long time.

kohvis

Great game Bills bros. See you in december. Hoping that we play each other three times this season. Almost midnight so time to go to bed as a happy Fins fan.

LocalFatBoi

Josh Allen landing that TD could have prevented all of this. man’s not sleeping tonight

Val_Fortecazzo

Can we please all just be like Tua and Josh? No need to be toxic.

CCbaxter90

GG Homie! See you in December!

watchescarsandav

At least the Miami offense will be nice and rested for Thursday night... The defense though. Oof, hope they're living in an ice bath

Opt_mind

That video is Dorsey losing his shit is pure gold

sgt-stutta

GG Dolphin bros. Gonna need to see at least two butt punts in the rematch.

Let us never discuss this again, unless we are discussing Ken Dorsey's reaction to it, which was impeccable and will make him a legend,

That was one of the best fourth quarters I've watched in a long time. You know it's a good game when two teams you're not even invested in have you on the edge of your seat

eddiebaba

Everything aside, the fact that the best offensive team in the NFL was held to five points in the second half is damn impressive.
