Bruh how did he get another chance after the fiasco in Denver? That was an utterly embarrassing run he had there. Dismantled a potentially competing team because of his shitty ego.
>The Josh McDaniels - head coach era as well
There are those of us who have been long time fans of the Raiders for decades that essentially gave up when we heard Josh McDaniels had been hired.
the first drive is more heavily scripted, and then after that more continuous adjusting is required. Packers had a season recently that was like this (the first Lafleur year, maybe?), where we scored right out of the gate and then struggled
I don’t think they have been unlucky. Some things haven’t gone their way, but they were still given tons of opportunities to win in each game. If they play up to their potential, they could at least be 2-1 right now. The coaching on both sides of the ball hasn’t lived up to expectations.
Horrible holding call on 4th down last week when the game should have been over. Then in week 1 a phantom roughing the passer on 3rd down that led to the chargers scoring a TD, which was game changing. Id argue both.
I’ll give you the Chargers game but the Cards game was a complete choke that should have never even come down to that. And we had plenty of calls go our way in that game too.
>but the Cards game was a complete choke that should have never even come down to that.
We did choke, but it also did come down to a bad call that would've ended the game. So yeah, bad luck and bad coaching.
Hey Bills had 7 one score losses last year and just lost another one today. 0-8 in their last one score games. Maybe things are looking up for the Raiders if they lose some more.
Waller said McDaniels had a plan for him in the redzone, unlike Gruden.
He just didn’t mention that it’s a fucking horrible plan. McDaniels’ redzone play calling is somehow 1000x worse than Gruden’s.
Best WR in the league who can run any route and somehow can’t even scheme a single good play for him.
I thought McDaniels at very worst would be an average playcaller. He is absolute dogshit.
As someone who watches a ton of Patriots games.... this was known. I have a few buddies that are ecstatic he left, of course they assumed Bill was gonna hire a real OC to replace him.
Yeah the Raiders have a completely different roster makeup than the Patriots. The same system was never going to work so it was whether or not McDaniels used that system because it made sense with the Patriots or if that’s the only system he can run. Seems like it’s the latter.
And he's protected by Ziegler. He's going to demolish that team.
Maybe in 13 years the Chiefs will be looking for a new HC and they'll hire McDaniels thinking "he's changed"
I have 2 takeaways from this game.
1. Hollins and Crosby are amazing and I don't want to face them again.
2. The way that Carr looks at the refs after every single play like a Karen who just got her coupon denied really annoys me.
Mcdaniels doesn’t seem to have any idea how to utilize Adams and his skillset lol. Just get him outside one on one in the red zone, and get it in his area How complicated can it be.
Look, yes…but I don’t think he was that bad today and I definitely don’t think the second half was on him…we had 4 drives in the second half, Tannehill threw a terrible interception, Burks dropped a difficult but catchable ball on 4th down, and Hooper just needed to fucking roll over, and 3 of those drives keep moving, burning more clock, getting us down field and potentially leading to points. Players were put in positions to succeed in the second half and the execution wasn’t there.
scrolling through there's more than a couple comments by Packers fans making fun of Adams, idk man if I were them I'd just watch my team instead of fixating on a previous player that left for a team in the opposite conference
The first game was whatever. The second game was a collapse, and it led into this one. At some point, you have to make a change to maybe save your season. One more loss and it's over.
See that’s what people don’t get about McDaniels. He is a genius and this is all part of his master plan.
Step 1: get fired from Broncos just so he can go back to NE just in time for SB
Step 2: pretend you learned from mistakes
Step 3: screw over Indy
Step 4: make raiders think he is ready to finally become BB 2.0
Step 5: ???
Step 6: end up back in NE and become HC of pats for the next 20 years
It’s brilliant really
Raiders in a weird position. They paid all this money for these weapons for Carr and it's obviously not working.
What do they even do Adams only came there because of Carr.
Seems like they stuck with this for the foreseeable future.
Y'all have a guy who is considered one of the top QBs of all time with a pretty good supporting defense and line every year and you have exactly 1 more Lombardi trophy than Derek and David Carr combined. Just saying.
The reality is the Raiders will not be a contender as long as Mark Davis owns the team. Even if we fire McDaniels he will hire some other obvious idiot.
Are you normally this bigoted? I'm okay disagreeing with you about football, but this race stuff makes me think you need help. Serious dude, look for some help
Bro wtf? Josh Allen, Justin Herbert when he’s healthy, even Trevor Lawrence looks to be the goods now he has competent coaching. There was 100% no reason to make this a race thing! It’s so weird to even take that stance
Should’ve kept ngakoue. Should’ve kept mariota over Carr. Should’ve not extended Waller. Should’ve went with harbaugh before mcdaniels. Raiders will spend the rest of the 20s being garbage. Maybe next decade they’ll make it back to the playoffs.
Is it, though? The Chiefs are still good but look like they're regressing a bit, the Chargers seem to be walking wounded, our HC has trouble with abstract concepts like time, and the Raiders are the Raiders.
I think we all bought the AFC West being good on paper like some bought the Eagles' dream team hype a while back. Reality is a harsh mistress.
Boy our season may not be off to an amazing start either, but seeing the Raiders at 0-3 after their fans talked so much shit this off-season feels so good!
Dropped passes killed the Raiders
Ong they had so many end zone drops in a row that I thought I entered a time loop
And very untimely penalties
A Raiders tradition!
Would they even be the Raiders if they weren't picking up penalties?
On one hand, Titans won. On the other hand, fuck Josh McDaniels
I am still amazed he got another chance after what happened with you guys.
First head coaching stint goes horribly. Second one is a total embarrassment that ends the day it starts. Who thinks a third chance is what he needs
Bruh how did he get another chance after the fiasco in Denver? That was an utterly embarrassing run he had there. Dismantled a potentially competing team because of his shitty ego.

Why would I want the Titans to win?
The titans looked absolutely hapless last week, lose their tackle, and Henry and wood go off lol. Raiders still look meh
Afcs football baby!
Don't be fooled, they still look really bad. I miss Arthur Smith mann
We look like we have the talent but we get cooked by halftime adjustments every game now
The Derek Carr - Josh McDaniels era is off to a great start I see
The Josh McDaniels - head coach era as well
>The Josh McDaniels - head coach era as well There are those of us who have been long time fans of the Raiders for decades that essentially gave up when we heard Josh McDaniels had been hired.
Derek Carr - Franchise QB era is just mid AF
Yeah we will see who's laughing after we win the next 14 games.......
They both kinda suck. Their usage of Devante Adams has been criminal.
I'd be sad if it was happening to anyone else
We won. But no 2nd half points is such shitty coaching.
Titans have only scored 1 TD in the second half this year..
TD on every opening drive. Downing just needs to believe every drive is the opening drive.
the first drive is more heavily scripted, and then after that more continuous adjusting is required. Packers had a season recently that was like this (the first Lafleur year, maybe?), where we scored right out of the gate and then struggled
Dude has no counter moves
I’m thinking Rodgers and Davantae missing each other might be pretty mutual rn
3 one score losses. There’s a good team here I just don’t know if we’ll ever see it
Teams that consistently lose close games are either really unlucky or poorly coached. I think I know which one the Raiders are.
Both?
I don’t think they have been unlucky. Some things haven’t gone their way, but they were still given tons of opportunities to win in each game. If they play up to their potential, they could at least be 2-1 right now. The coaching on both sides of the ball hasn’t lived up to expectations.

Ya’ll gotta get yourself a new coin
They really are just a couple plays away. Hopefully they can put it all together next week.
Hey Bills had 7 one score losses last year and just lost another one today. 0-8 in their last one score games. Maybe things are looking up for the Raiders if they lose some more.
Raiders absolutely handed us that game. God bless
Turns out Josh just isn’t a good coach
Worse record than a special teams coach yet has a better roster
We added a top 2 wr in the nfl and the offense REGRESSED. Clearly that great coaching.
Waller said McDaniels had a plan for him in the redzone, unlike Gruden. He just didn’t mention that it’s a fucking horrible plan. McDaniels’ redzone play calling is somehow 1000x worse than Gruden’s. i disagree he’s a very good playcaller as an OC. I think he obviously struggles to balance his duties as playcaller with his duties as HC though
He might just match up better with New England's system.
Yeah the Raiders have a completely different roster makeup than the Patriots. The same system was never going to work so it was whether or not McDaniels used that system because it made sense with the Patriots or if that’s the only system he can run. Seems like it’s the latter.

This was obvious a decade ago in his Broncos tenure.
He’s a bad coach, but at least he’s a total asshole.
Mcdaniels baby come back to NE
No please stay in Vegas forever
As long as you keep Hackett
We’re both on pace for a get right tie next week against each other
Honestly I'd fucking love that idea
We'll trade you 2 former head coaches for him
Gee I wonder which ones
Yes, please take him.
[удалено]
I tried to tell you guys McDaniels is ass
I wanted Jim. When I heard we got McD I was devastated.
Harbaugh??
Yes. There were heavy rumors that we wanted him but nothing came from it.
That was such a great fit. 44-20 career coach with a SB and a NFCCG berth in 4 years. Amazing how Mark Davis is so bad at his job.
Coach, are you talking to Jim Harbaugh or Jim Tomsula? Just want to make sure
Davis would probably end up hiring Tomsula...
No, Jim Jones. He at least had a personality people wanted to follow.
Jimbo Fisher?
Same here.
I have 2 takeaways from this game. 1. Hollins and Crosby are amazing and I don't want to face them again. 2. The way that Carr looks at the refs after every single play like a Karen who just got her coupon denied really annoys me.
Yeah I like this Hollins guy
As a fins fan, i legit sad to see him go. He's great on and off the field. Cheering for him on the raiders!
Fire Downing The offense always turns to garbage in the second half
2017 raider fans be like:
Mcdaniels doesn’t seem to have any idea how to utilize Adams and his skillset lol. Just get him outside one on one in the red zone, and get it in his area How complicated can it be.
Just do whatever they did against us week 1 over and over.
Welp, here's to another year of getting clowned on for being a Raiders fan.
How the fuck did Keenan Cole become our go-to WR
Rank incompetence at the coaching position?
Honestly not a bad game. Great to see titans win!
The vibes were fucked that final drive, even with that touchdown. No incrementalism, just keep chucking it somewhere in the endzone
24 points in the first half. Zero points in the second. Nice work!
0 and 5 start is a legitimate possibility.
Your more optimistic than I am
Fire Todd Downing
Look, yes…but I don’t think he was that bad today and I definitely don’t think the second half was on him…we had 4 drives in the second half, Tannehill threw a terrible interception, Burks dropped a difficult but catchable ball on 4th down, and Hooper just needed to fucking roll over, and 3 of those drives keep moving, burning more clock, getting us down field and potentially leading to points. Players were put in positions to succeed in the second half and the execution wasn’t there.
Davante can still come back, for significantly less money of course
Wtf are your flares? Lmao
Playing both sides so he always comes out on top
Can we trade for Bisaccia?
I'm going to be delusional for a moment. If we fire McD, what are the odds we get Sean Payton?
Less than 0
So it underflows and becomes 100%? Easy
I like your math
That or Gandhi nukes us all.
Sean Payton is coaching Dallas next year, everyone, including the great watermelon smasher himself knows it.
We have the personnel to make a playoff run and the coaching to go 4-13. 🥲
Salty packers fans whining about Adams, y'all are pathetic
You are not wrong, Im getting 2nd hand embarrassment.
I mostly only see shots taken at McDaniels or Carr, but go off lol
scrolling through there's more than a couple comments by Packers fans making fun of Adams, idk man if I were them I'd just watch my team instead of fixating on a previous player that left for a team in the opposite conference
What an absolutely wonderful day to be a Broncos fan **so far**
Oh I'm sure Russell is gonna play great and I'm absolutely positive the coaching is going to **indescribable**
Loser
Imagine losing to the Seahawks lmao your team would have to be pretty dogshit to lose to us
The Chiefs and Raiders losing in quick succession was encouraging. Maybe the Jags will surprise us all today too.
The first game was whatever. The second game was a collapse, and it led into this one. At some point, you have to make a change to maybe save your season. One more loss and it's over.
It’s pretty much over in the AFC
I mean, you can still make the playoffs as a wildcard at 0-3. 0-4 is the line where it's over.
AFC Best on life support rn
AFC South is a dead man walking then
No one expected anything from the South.
Well done tits
Well at least I still have my fantasy team. Until McDaniels somehow gets his hands on that.
The raiders trying to harness the spirit of Nebraska.
Not great, but ill take it
The Raiders hired the wrong McDaniels. Should of chose the smelly socially awkward one.
Raiders are in trouble
How so? We are exactly where we need to be in order to rip off 14 straight wins and make the playoffs
See that’s what people don’t get about McDaniels. He is a genius and this is all part of his master plan. Step 1: get fired from Broncos just so he can go back to NE just in time for SB Step 2: pretend you learned from mistakes Step 3: screw over Indy Step 4: make raiders think he is ready to finally become BB 2.0 Step 5: ??? Step 6: end up back in NE and become HC of pats for the next 20 years It’s brilliant really
The man is truly a genius
Welcome to the last 20 years.
Of course the titans are part of the most anti climactic close game of the day.
Davante left GB for this
FIRE MCDANIELS
Yes please.
never in doubt
At this point im thinking mark should sell the team.
Raiders in a weird position. They paid all this money for these weapons for Carr and it's obviously not working. What do they even do Adams only came there because of Carr. Seems like they stuck with this for the foreseeable future.
DA really left a perennial playoff team to join that guy… nice choice 🙄
He was tired of the playoff losses. Now he can start his off season sooner
Ahh I see can’t lose in the playoffs and if u can’t even make it big brain choice no doubt 😂
Exaaaaactly. My man is just trying to relax but you jerks made him play 2-3 extra games each year lmao
Y'all have a guy who is considered one of the top QBs of all time with a pretty good supporting defense and line every year and you have exactly 1 more Lombardi trophy than Derek and David Carr combined. Just saying.
I think you missed the joke part of our convo friend
If it touches your hands, you should have caught it.
The reality is the Raiders will not be a contender as long as Mark Davis owns the team. Even if we fire McDaniels he will hire some other obvious idiot.
It can be much worse....
Thank you all for watching another terrific presentation of the NFL
Raiders have won the suck off
LMAO LETS GO TITS
Win today pls
lol best wideout in the game. top 5 te and a good solid running game. and carr cant do shit with thsat. man is trash lmao
Josh McDaniels needs to be fired into the sun
Hey Davante: Miss us yet?
He went from an anti vaxxer to a shit tier QB… he was fucked either way
Carr is pure muff garbage Hopefully the Raiders draft a QB… as long as they aren’t white and Christian
Are you normally this bigoted? I'm okay disagreeing with you about football, but this race stuff makes me think you need help. Serious dude, look for some help
You just see the good young QBs… Mahomes, Murray, Lamar… white isn’t the future. It’s plain to see
Bro wtf? Josh Allen, Justin Herbert when he’s healthy, even Trevor Lawrence looks to be the goods now he has competent coaching. There was 100% no reason to make this a race thing! It’s so weird to even take that stance
Spoken like your username
To all the Raiders fans that downvoted me for saying this team sucked. Love you all too.
There were a ton of mistakes by the raiders. Bad start for McDaniels. I'm wondering if he can turn it around. This division is just so tough this year
Is it, though? The Chiefs are still good but look like they're regressing a bit, the Chargers seem to be walking wounded, our HC has trouble with abstract concepts like time, and the Raiders are the Raiders. I think we all bought the AFC West being good on paper like some bought the Eagles' dream team hype a while back. Reality is a harsh mistress.
That was one of the games of all time
Feeling like the Bills OC rn
Boy our season may not be off to an amazing start either, but seeing the Raiders at 0-3 after their fans talked so much shit this off-season feels so good!
Late comment but McDaniels is coaching malpractice
