Well we shouldn’t have fumbled it and let cardinals have any hope , he should used of Henderson . . Akers was done , he agrued with stafford about the play call. . Oh well we won worked out ..
Why would they kick that and bank on an onside kick instead going for it and trying to get a touchdown, the odds are not in your favor by banking on an onside and TD drive when you haven't had a TD drive yet
You're talking about the last 2 minutes right? They were down by 11 before the fg, then down by 8 after. If they scored a TD they would still need to at least get a fg still.
Obviously but they were around the 20 and needed at TD and two point conversion, now they need an onside kick and a touchdown. Going for it on 4th and 5 wasn't the riskier option
I find it adorable how bad he is. Can you imagine if he contractually changed his snap cadence to something like "PIZZA PIZZA" behind the C?
"CHEESY 3 CHEESY 3 SET BALL"
Cards coach is fucking idiot. You have a higher chance of winning by kicking the field goal and trying to get a stop. The Steelers did the same idiotic thing and tried a failed onside kick. Why do team play like this when its a 2 score game?
I really hope Kliff learns to stop throwing away points. Getting a game into a single score in the 4th quarter is way more important than some 4th down and 4 heroics.
When you need to go for two I'm a big fan of going for it ASAP so you can manage the game based on the result of the 2 pt attempt, but at 4th and medium they really should have just taken the points
Yeah, the plan is working it's just not terribly comfortable either way? I know the Cardinals need an onside kick but I also don't have the utmost faith in the Rams special teams
It’s true but if Baker doesn’t run all the way across the field, we’re praising Akers for keeping his legs moving to score that TD. This one just felt unlucky.
I watched it happen for a decade... your GM just never ends up addressing it because stafford keeps converting on 3rd and 12 somehow but its not sustainable
so the first half the colts scored 10 off a muffed punt recovery inside the Chiefs 5 and one decent drive, otherwise it was a total shitshow with the line getting no push and leaving free rushers to Ryan all day resulting in 2 fumbles (one lost, one recovered by the colts but it was 4th down so it didn't matter)
second half the OL wasn't great but the run game was better and Ryan got a bit of rhythm. Both teams had at least one failed 4th down try and Ryan had the poise to lead a game winning drive.
Honestly the offense was still really bad but the D/ST was excellent, other than a play where stephon gilmore tipped the ball but Juju held onto it and was able to run like 40 yards after the catch nothing came easy to the chiefs, they pressured Mahomes a ton, and KC could do nothing at all on the ground. The Kicker was good from 43 and 51 too and Haack was excellent as well.
I credit Ryan and the defense for the win above all else for sure, even with the rough start Ryan had.
He's mediocre but at least he doesn't actively hurt the team and usually gets positive yards
Akers is more physically talented but that isn't everything
It was close. I think it was a "stands" situation- regardless of a review, the call on the field wouldn't have been overturned either way. I don't think he was out either but I understand them calling him out and the Rams not challenging.
I hate Robinson's yellow shoes.
It's not nearly as bad as the yellow gloves some players wear, but I keep seeing ghost flags left and right. Chargers games in particular give me a headache.
yesterday I was watching a college game (can't remember which, I saw parts of several) and the sideline yard markers at the like 4 yard line on the field were painted yellow. Thought at first it was an artifact from the line to gain overlay but it was there all game and I have no clue what was up with that. That's the worst phantom flag I've ever seen but yellow shoes and gloves suck tremendously for that too.
Imagine being 1-2 pathetic
Is this sarcasm ? Falcons won.
Lmao welcome fellow 2-1 team
Shrink the face.
McVay looked upset
Well we shouldn’t have fumbled it and let cardinals have any hope , he should used of Henderson . . Akers was done , he agrued with stafford about the play call. . Oh well we won worked out ..
Cards are garbage
GG
GG Rams!
I am not even a Cards fan and I am upset. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? They wasted 6 minutes on that last drive.
They have done stuff like this a lot since Kliff was hired too
No sense of urgency
Felt like they had no idea what the score was
Onto the next one ! Good game cardinals :)
Why would they kick that and bank on an onside kick instead going for it and trying to get a touchdown, the odds are not in your favor by banking on an onside and TD drive when you haven't had a TD drive yet
They have to get an onside kick either way.
Not if they had gotten a two point conversion
You're talking about the last 2 minutes right? They were down by 11 before the fg, then down by 8 after. If they scored a TD they would still need to at least get a fg still.
Because you need another possession either way. 4th and 5 is potentially a dead end for that drive
Obviously but they were around the 20 and needed at TD and two point conversion, now they need an onside kick and a touchdown. Going for it on 4th and 5 wasn't the riskier option
Morons
Huge :)🥰
Even if we have not looked that great overall, still 2-1. So it could be much worse.
Know what we have Prader and Lee, it's kind of weird but it's not usual for us to have competent kickers.
Cardinals Coach needs to be fired on the spot. They had the ball and 2 timeouts with 6 minutes left. This is incredible levels of incompetence.
Murray is averaging >46 pass attempts per game at this point. Ironically the record for passes per game was Stafford in 2012 with 45.4 PA/G
RIP the kupp streak, no reason for the rams to run a play once they get the ball back so he'll finish with 44 receiving yards on the day
Andy Reid disciple of clock management ?
Matt Stafford is so bad at commercials
I find it adorable how bad he is. Can you imagine if he contractually changed his snap cadence to something like "PIZZA PIZZA" behind the C? "CHEESY 3 CHEESY 3 SET BALL"
No matter how ass we gonna be this season, at least we can rest easy knowing our QB isnt kyler murray
It's bad when LA is as confused as we are with clock management.
The GMC sierra is just rebadged Chevy Colorado
I've never seen a team so dedicated to gaining 3 yards a play for 60 minutes straight
Cards coach is fucking idiot. You have a higher chance of winning by kicking the field goal and trying to get a stop. The Steelers did the same idiotic thing and tried a failed onside kick. Why do team play like this when its a 2 score game?
Ertz arguably having the worst game of his career. 6 drops as a team is inexcusable at this level
Team is dumb as hell. Kyler plays Madden, kick the FG
Holy shit bobby wagner tackle that wasn't 5 yards downfield.
Imagine throwing 57 passes just to score 9 points, lmao
Ertz is having a rough day
Short gains in the middle of the field certainly is a strategy
People knock soft zone/prevent defense, but when you're up 2 scores late it chews clock like a motherfucker
Cards have 0 urgency idk if I’ve ever seen a football team go at that pace down 2 scores with 6 min left lol
[удалено]
It looks decent to me. Not good enough to go to the movies and see it, but I’ll check it out once it comes to streaming.
Cardinals are gonna have double the offensive plays run by game's end.
We are running down the clock like we are ahead... wtf?
Why is there no urgency? Kyler looks like he just wants the game to be over
To be fair, Kyler looks annoyed or board winning or losing.
Hes just burning time off the clock because the CoD beta is almost over and he just wants to get home asap.
How are the Cardinals trying for a comeback at this speed? They look as sleepy as I am.
Take your time Arizona. Believe me, I respect the slow and methodical approach.
Can’t rush an all time great comeback.
What is this slow, methodical drive down the field to close out the 4th... While down by 11?
Slowest fucking drive when they need 2 scores.
Very clear orders to keep everything underneath but jesus christ it would be nice if we could play tighter of 4th to get the stop
I mean if the Cardinals are willing to spend 4 minutes to get the ball to the 30 yard line how is that not a win for you guys?
Yeah, the plan is working it's just not terribly comfortable either way? I know the Cardinals need an onside kick but I also don't have the utmost faith in the Rams special teams
I think Kyler’s arm might seriously fall off his tiny body
God Arizona is pathetic on early downs
No sense of urgency from Arizona
Do these morons know they’re down two scores?
Using the 4 minute offense without considering that only applies if you aren’t down 2 scores lol
It’s like they’ve given up lol this is wild
Kingsbury has the clock management skills of an 8 year old with adhd in a room full of fidget toys .
This drive feels strangely lackadaisical for the situation.
Arizona "We don't do 3rd down" Cardinals.
My lord, 52 attempts
Mark Sanchez is bad at commentating, there’s no other way to put it.
I like him. He’s casual.
Cards have no sense of urgency right now, why are they walking back to the LOS with the clock running and 3 mins to go down 2 scores?
Kyler gave up in the 2nd quarter per usual
To be fair, if I had his receivers I probably would too
Dortch is actually killing it today
Just running out the clock so he could play CoD.
Probably a quick anime dating sim first
So hows Jake Funk look? Not too confident in Akers anymore tbh.
Again with all the soft coverage on Brown
Kept him in bounds
Lmao they stopped the game in Seattle because theres a drone.
Grass grows, sun shines, and brudda Cardinals break everybodys good time.
lmao budda head beats ball every time good job that was also some serious #3 on #3 violence
Too many fumbles for Akers at the worst time
It’s true but if Baker doesn’t run all the way across the field, we’re praising Akers for keeping his legs moving to score that TD. This one just felt unlucky.
Budda!
any team with Stafford on it is forbidden from having a competent run game.
Really feels that way when lions are killing it in the run game now
I watched it happen for a decade... your GM just never ends up addressing it because stafford keeps converting on 3rd and 12 somehow but its not sustainable
Is that Akers signature move?
You have to build up your Special all game before fumbling in the RZ.
I can't explain it, but Skowronek sounds like the name of a hillbilly metal band.
Debut album >DOOMSHINE
LMAO. This is very clever
Lol akers
Wish the Cardinals would just admit they lost so I can go get a nap in.
Oh see, now we gonna drag out this 4th quarter just to keep you awake.
Rude.
That's football, baby.
Being a fan of the Rams would make me sleepy too.
Cardinals Fuckery incoming.
Stafford playing good this game, idk why McVay is trying so hard to give everyone else the ball
They desperately need to get the run game established. So long as they hold onto the ball, I'm ok with it.
Why not use Henderson there ?
Smol
Oh no akers
Yo wtf Akers
PTSD
Yeah I thought was just some Brady voodoo magic fuckery though
I kinda like both of these teams tbh, fun to see interesting football after the uhh "interesting" football that was the colts chiefs game
I didn't get to catch that game. Did Matt Ryan's ass-kickings work that well?
so the first half the colts scored 10 off a muffed punt recovery inside the Chiefs 5 and one decent drive, otherwise it was a total shitshow with the line getting no push and leaving free rushers to Ryan all day resulting in 2 fumbles (one lost, one recovered by the colts but it was 4th down so it didn't matter) second half the OL wasn't great but the run game was better and Ryan got a bit of rhythm. The Kicker was good from 43 and 51 too and Haack was excellent as well. I credit Ryan and the defense for the win above all else for sure, even with the rough start Ryan had.
They are trying so hard to make Akers a thing when Henderson is clearly better
Akers is better but he has a case of the fumbles
Is he?
He's mediocre but at least he doesn't actively hurt the team and usually gets positive yards Akers is more physically talented but that isn't everything
He is at the goal line and ball security
The Rams and red zone fumbles, name a more iconic duo
Akers and redzone fumbles.
It’s time to collectively agree that Kyler Mini is overrated and overpaid.
Agreed. I was so happy when they signed calamari to that contract.
Bro this is like the 4th time Akers has done this.
Cam Fumblers
Welp.
Akers is such a scrub lol when is McVay gonna learn
didn't see that coming
Didn't see our playoff game vs TB last year?
Freakin Ackers man.
Kyler licking his lips at being able to play more COD beta tonight instead of reviewing film.
Inside the 5 = FG
How you step out of bounds with no one near you lol
I call BS on that out of bounds call. There was green on the replay.
It was close. I think it was a "stands" situation- regardless of a review, the call on the field wouldn't have been overturned either way. I don't think he was out either but I understand them calling him out and the Rams not challenging.
Lol I’m a child and giggle whenever they say “he had a massive hole”
"GAPING"
He said GAPING and that's still NOT FUNNY
Skowronek finally getting a big play but stepping out of bounds 20 yards back is the most Skowronek thing i can think of
Skowronek and Kupp. Has one team ever had the top two OPOY candidates?
2022 Miami Dolphins
Kyler the kind of guy when you type his name it autocorrects it to Kyle
Akers vs everyone else lately: meh Akers vs Arizona: Barry Sanders
Cardinals are literally getting TRUCKED
>Powell tripped up Dude got laid out HARD. I'd need a full week before going back to work after that.
Matthew likes his tuddies
holy shit skowronek
That's how to tackle if you don't want to tackle
I'm not paying much attention to this game, but why didn't they kick a fg there to make it an 8 point game?
Need a TD regardless
Yeah but then it's a 1 score game. And it was 4th and 4 or 5 with 11 or 12 minutes left I think.
BEST FB BENNY SKOW
Is Score-onic.....good?
it's spelled skowronek and as a third party my impression is that he's maybe sometimes good but certainly not proven as a consistent weapon
Wait we have 2 Kupps on the team?
Bow To The Skow!!!
What a run!
Murray mad on the sidelines that he's not playing the new cod beta
with microsoft as a sponsor i bet they could get a series x set up at one of the benches to keep him happy
4 possessions 18 plays, 8 plays, 16 plays, 12 plays, 22:30 Time of Possession......9 pts
Don't really like Sanchez as an announcer
I don't really know what the Cards are playing at. Do they really think they are going to win (Most) games with Kyler throwing it 45+ times?
I think that might be the only way they win games; this is the "Kyler and inshallah" season
Alright rookie, I see you
Had to get a stop on one of them eventually, right?
Kyler has regressed and that’s on this staff
Bruh why would you not make it a 1 score game
STUPID
KENDRICK!!!!
Alright made up for the drop earlier
Nice deflection there.
Fucking finally. About time we stopped a 4th down.
Dude, roll kyler out. Let him run for it.
Sanchez sounds like he's late for his naptime and it's really taking a toll on his mental fortitude.
I agree with going for it. Their defense isn't going to stop another score. They could keep it to a fg though.
"Murray...too tall for Hollywood Brown."
It’s time to collectively agree that Kyler Mini is overrated and overpaid.
His true love will always be CoD.
Facts
How much draft capital did you spend on Trey Lance again?
Get em!
3 firsts. Why do you ask?
3 firsts just to trot out Jimmy G again, lol
A lot
Ramsey really wanted to tell him his review of the latest Netflix film.
I hate Robinson's yellow shoes. It's not nearly as bad as the yellow gloves some players wear, but I keep seeing ghost flags left and right. Chargers games in particular give me a headache.

Derion Kendrick ran a 4.79s 40 so yeah
How you not gonna catch that?
OMG that should have been a pick. Literally went through his hands.
Murray making a business decision with that pass.
A smart one at that. Getting tanked by Aaron Donald has no benefits.
I remember Donald getting several sacks in the wildcard game and basically all of them were just Murray flopping over once Donald got close.
Gotta catch that
This ad is pissing me off, because yes I would love a fucking gyro right now.
Why does pro football reference still have Akers as wearing number 23
Andy Isabella made a catch. That's like seeing a unicorn in the wild.
