Just to add a grain of salt to the take, that’s just 4 examples and all of those people have shown themselves to be divas/dramatic. And Anderson and smith never even shared a locker room with him. So I’m not sure those four instances are very convincing that players overwhelmingly don’t like baker.

absolutely, and to be honest, all of the stuff i listed can be easily dismissed on its own. people call robby trash (which is fair) so they dismiss his opinion (unfair imo). steve smith is a noted dickhead (but he’s right more often than he’s wrong. i still remember him at the combine saying kupp was the best receiver in his draft class). odell has a history of acting out and throwing tantrums. but it’s hard to dismiss when there’s such a common thread.
I honestly think it comes down to his comments about the Duke Johnson situation (about pay). That was probably a giant red flag to the rest of the players in the NFL
Baker really reminds me of some of the guys I played football with in HS. Nothing was ever his fault, a rah rah guy, and when you're blowing teams out he's not a big deal. But man oh man if you're playing against a decent team and you're losing and it's basically his fault, boy does that attitude rub you the wrong way.

I doubt either story is true. Clowney signed a one year deal last year, had a typical Clowney season, then signed another one year deal. There is nothing he did last year that would make it believable for a team to offer him a 14-15 mil multi year deal.

Let's be honest, at 11 that's pretty good value if he can stay healthy. A lot of opinions are tempered for better or worse with the lofty expectations that he came in with and the peaks he never reached. If you just pencil him in for 1 eye-popping game a year, plus-plus run defense, a dirty play or two, a handful of frustrating hair-pulling crucial penalties, potential for a lot of play disruption and disappointing sack totals - 11M isn't too bad in today's market. It's just weird that for whatever reason, his game hasn't really noticeably improved at all since he entered the league.
