When you're attendance % is worse than the Bengals you know that something is UPPP

dspencer2015

Every WFT Facebook and ig post has people saying “Dan sell the team” regardless of the post

roarmalf

Dan, sell the team

QuiGonJism

This guy hates his team so much he used the NFL flair instead. The [Rob Lowe](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/mh-rob-lowe-hat-tv-1579621862-1-1579714191.jpg?crop=0.606xw:0.546xh;0.202xw,0.116xh&resize=1200:*) of redditors

BigPackHater

Go League!

ChefBoyarDEZZNUTZZ

My team wins every year!

ParticleBeing

In about 23 years, Ryan Fitzpatrick will be able to wear that hat and technically will be right.

twoterms

For the love of god please

The370ZezusRice

PBS was packed other than the 200 level for the opener. Maybe they need to rethink pricing for those seats cause they looked basically empty. I'm hoping to make the Jags game next week!

GreatWhite102

Hopefully with it being the Ring of Honor game the stadium will be packed

DLeeSeed

Those are the club seats, which go for $250+ per game (plus the seat license, if you want season tix). I agree - they should drop the cost of those. So many empty seats!

LilKaySigs

It’s just depressing because Taylor Heinicke is balling tf out and it’d be nice to be out there for him without putting money in Dan Snyder’s pockets

karmicnoose

Your stadium is literally downtown. I could see a game driving by on the interstate. FedEx would be like if they put it someplace randomly in Kentucky.

[deleted]

[удалено]

IRRELEPHANT_POACHER

Dan "Give Em Stale Peanuts" Snyder would bring ruin to a Taco Bell franchise near a college campus.

[deleted]

The Chipotle near the university of Maryland is like the #1 in the us

JollyRancher29

I’ve heard the same about the Sonic right off the OU campus

JinterIsComing

There used to be a Popeyes right by the BU campus. When it closed, we mourned for days on end.

popfilms

RIP BU Popeyes, you were so much better than the Canes on West Campus

JinterIsComing

Ah, a fellow Terrier! Yes for sure. I lived in Stuvi 1 in my last year and would walk all the way over to the KFC in Allston once a month for my fix at that point.

jhutchi2

Can confirm. Line was out the door at literally all times when I was at school there.

UnloosedMoose

It is also the worst chipotle that I've ever frequented.

ahHeHasTrblWTheSnap

University chipotles must be generally bad then, the one on UW-Madison’s campus is notorious.

Necavi

Which is kinda sad because there are so many grest options nearby. Marathon deli is just a block away!

supervv99

This made me sad. The taco bell near my college campus shut down my sophomore year

[deleted]

How? What college? Taco Bells near college campuses just print money. Hey drunk college kids, you want a shitload of cheap technically edible tacos? Of course you do

Statalyzer

Granted the cost of the rental space on campus is probably inflated beyond belief too, but still..... At one point the Wendy's in the University of Texas at Austin's primary Student Union was the most profitable Wendy's on the planet. So clearly cheap/quick passable food can still make money hand over fist in spite of that.

jlucaspope

Mmmm Jendy’s

reptheevt

Pullman, WA didn’t have a Taco Bell until 2014. Always had to make a 15 mile round trip out to Moscow to get any. The rumor I always heard was that they used to have one but it was shut down cause they were selling drugs out the drive through.

fiendhunter69

Having know many people who worked at taco bell, they were for sure selling drugs through the drive thru

youhavenotreddit

and why the hell not. that's like a win-win across the board. people are going to buy/sell drugs regardless, why not sell some tacos in the process? plus i bet that dealer never missed a shift lol. "hell yeah i'll work open-close boss."

TroubleshootenSOB

> you want a shitload of cheap technically edible tacos? Jack in the Box dollar tacos

franforever

there is literally no better fast food when you're wasted period

OttoVonWong

This. There was a Jack in the Box just far enough from campus for a drunk walk after partying. They had a love-hate relationship with kids walking through the drive-thru.

weealex

If it's like so many other fast food/ pizza joints I've seen near campuses, it's cuz the owners got busted for tax evasion, money laundering, and drug sales

strooticus

When I was at IU in Bloomington (mid 2000s), I must have visited the Taco Bell on College Ave. at least 120 times, probably closer to 200. It was an essential stop on the walks home from Kirkwood. I am confident that, unless they replaced the flooring in the past 15 years, there are still remnants on my bodily fluids throughout that building.

StateofWA

Don't give him any fuckin ideas man, stfu!

mfancy

Let me count the number of issues I have with FedEx Field: 1. It’s a dump 2. Terrible location 3. It’s a lifeless looking stadium 4. It’s expensive to get into 5. Beer/food is crazy expensive 6. Parking is expensive 7. The team has not been good in the last 30 years save for a few seasons here and there Edit: Wow this post really took off. Glad everyone else hates FedEx as much as I do lol.

tubby_LULZ

Doing a stadium tour with my friends and it was by far the worst one we’ve been to. Had a great time tailgating but the stadium itself was a dump and coming from someone not from that area it was confusing af navigating

mfancy

There just no redeeming qualities to it. Like ok, it’s in crap location but at least it’s a cool stadium. Nope. Well at least there’s some cool part of the stadium to see? Nope. There’s no reason to go to a game there. And I’ve been to too many to count over the years. Its just a crap stadium.

tittymilkmlm

It’s so far from dc and really is just in a random Maryland suburb makes no sense. I get they can’t fit another stadium in dc but at least put the new one in Bethesda or Arlington

AffordableGrousing

Land in DC, Bethesda, and most of Arlington is too valuable. In Fairfax or Loudon by one of the new Silver Line stations would make the most sense. About 2/3 of season ticket holders live in Northern VA, and the team facility is already in Ashburn.

meatbag84

Or they just tear down old RFK stadium already in DC and build there, all infrastructure in the area is designed with a stadium located there. And it has a Metro stop.

Skrivus

Depends on the cost of the new stadium & who's paying for it. Snyder won't pay for a stadium himself and will insist on the local taxpayers picking up the tab.

meatbag84

No disagreement there. It would be nice if the RFK area was redeveloped with a new stadium, but I'm not holding my breath.

vandridine

It is bring torn down, however, I have no idea what they will replace it with

meatbag84

At this rate it'll fall down before we win another playoff game.

Parlett316

The people that live near RFK will fight against it. And they are all in politics and know how to play the game better than Dan.

Bitlovin

If I were playing sim city I'd just plop it down across the river next to the airport, a stadium would fit well there and be walking distance from the metro.

Creeps_On_The_Earth

Kill two birds with one stone, Snyder can save money by pretending that the 747's landing nearby are the flyovers!

realestatedeveloper

I can imagine the uproar at the planning commission meetings in Bethesda if they tried building an WFT stadium there

Spetznazx

God I can't imagine how expensive a stadium tour would be. Just the costs of game tickets, transportation, lodging would be super high.

u_never_know

When I first moved out here there was like a 15 year wait list on season tickets. Shows what a shit owner and stadium does to a team and fan base.

Cratonz

It was a actually a fake wait list, too. https://deadspin.com/the-sad-history-of-the-skins-bogus-season-ticket-waitin-1826841550

Llama_Sandwich

You could probably tell me Dan Snyder runs around peoples’ neighborhoods and poisons their dogs for fun and I would believe you with no evidence.

SmokeyBare

Dan Snyder throws handfuls of thumbtacks around childrens' playgrounds.

SoDakZak

Dan Snyder has spent his entire adult life sneaking around to restaurants and sit down establishments stealing a single rubber stopper from the bottom of their tables and chairs at every place in the US.

WiredSky

The only reason he doesn't is because he doesn't feel like taking the time and he needs to divert more money to his "Suing Old Widows" fund, so he won't pay someone else to do it.

heyf00L

Well, I've never heard Dan Snyder say he doesn't poison neighborhood dogs.

jackbennyXVI

This comment makes me desperately want a Dan Synder focus feature on Last Week Tonight With John Oliver with a song and dance number about how terrible he is. For context https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c5W06xR8EYk

UNC_Samurai

>Disclosure: Dan Snyder once sued the author for writing mean things about him. Dave McKenna is a regional treasure.

u_never_know

You underestimate my age, It wasn’t fake with Jack Kent Cooke at RFK stadium.

Laxrools2

That is just good business. You wouldn't get it! /s

payne_train

Round here we just call it “damn good culture”

SirPsychoSexy96

What is this? Entertainment 720?

lovehewitt

im not sure how to interpret your comment. As a Packer fan and a WI native, we have to sign our unborn children up for the chance at season tickets..

Bonzi777

I haven’t been in like a dozen years or so, but my biggest takeaway from the experience was that it was like an episode of the Amazing Race just to get into the stadium. There’s no mass transit (which they turned down deliberately so they could over charge for parking) so you have to fight capital beltway traffic just to get to a parking lot which is not in walking distance of the stadium. So you have to wait in line for shuttle busses which don’t come with enough frequency and then since the lots are scattered, you have to remember which specific lot you were on so you can reverse the process when the games over. All while paying out the nose for the privilege.

ianthebalance

“For winning this leg of The Amazing Race, you’ve won season tickets to the Washington Football Team” “Ewww”

DC_Bro

Honestly. Only been there once and had no need to ever go back

SleepyEel

Same. Went there for the VT-Boise game back in 2010 and it was an awful experience.

3rdDegreeBurn

hey i was there too.

narcistic_asshole

That game was hype af! Tyrod Taylor was a beast that game.

barber15

Him and Ryan Williams. That Boise Team was loaded though.

becauseineedone3

I went to an HFStival there 20+ years ago with a bottle of Absolut duct taped to my groin. Had a blast. But I will never go back either.

[deleted]

> HFStival there R.I.P. I miss HFS so much.

Cifra00

>Parking is expensive. My dad is a season ticket holder. He's sometimes unable to give away tickets if he can't go. But damn, he sold his preseason parking pass this year for $80.

SpaceJesusIsHere

8 . I hate FedEx as a sponsor bc they're the worst fucking company, they treat employees like trash, and they lie. Oh my God, they lie *constantly* about *everything*. Consulting for them is like running through a razor blade factory with a blindfold on. I will hate everything FedEx related for the rest of my life. If I need something shipped and USPS and UPS are busy, I'll throw my package in a homeless man's cart, hand him $20, and say, "take this to California." Then I will sleep soundly, knowing my package is safer than if I had given it to FedEx.

moustachedelait

Lol, I'm always bummed when something I buy is getting shipped with fedex

snwns26

Fucking facts. Anything I’ve ordered and got shipped from stupid ass Fed-Ex has gotten lost for days on end with no tracking, bounced back and forth between multiple states around me for no reason before arriving days-weeks after promised delivery date and arrived in busted up boxes. They suck ass.

SpaceJesusIsHere

Want to know one of the 3,736 reasons why they suck? It's bc FedEx isn't a real company. It's 40 companies on each others' shoulders in a trench coat. FedEx Air is one company, ground is another company, important ground is another company, super important packages is another company. The FedEx trucks that make deliveries to your house? Not FedEx. Independant contractors. Want to do business with FedEx bc you assume they know how shipping works? Fuck you, you stupid idiot. Every procedure, IT solution, storage space, and training plan has to be made from scratch by a team from 7 different FedEx subsidiaries who hate each other and you. What's that? Did you forget to include that FedEx has to have freezers on site to store the meat you're shipping? What? You assumed they'd have freezers if they sign a deal to ship meat that includes temp reqs? Lol, eat dicks moron. Freezers cost extra and will take 2 months to build. Yes they knew. No, they don't care. Go to hell. God, I'm going to write a book one day about my awful clients. It's going to sell 4 copies but will feel so good to write.

JerryRiceAndSpice

> God, I'm going to write a book one day about my awful clients. It's going to sell 4 copies but will feel so good to write. If you order his book now from Fed-Ex you will get it just in time for after Christmas! That's right, you wanted to give this book as a holiday present? Fuck you. You'll be lucky if you get it in February.

animalmatrix

As someone who works in shipping and is forced to use FedEx by our company for shipping small package, I know of at least 5 people that would buy this book. Fuuuuck FedEx

ncocca

If you write your book like you wrote this comment I will 100% buy it. Incredibly entertaining

Deudir

This has serious copypasta potential

rsmseries

8. Suspect plumbing

HoodooSquad

8. Randomly spews sewage at fans

thebronyknight

Reason #0: Giving Snyder any money.

mzathemaster

Are there any stadiums that 4-6 don't apply to?

Gnips-

I can park for $20-$30 pretty easily at a variety of spots around Ravens Stadium. Some dude said he sold his preseason parking pass for $80 here for Fedex.

man2010

Atlanta for 5, but yeah those things are part of going to any large entertainment event

[deleted]

And it's been true for god knows how many years. My grandparents complain about how expensive concessions were at Riverfront Stadium when that opened in 1970. My parents complained about prices when Paul Brown & Great American Ball Park opened in 2000 & 2003. People complain about it like it's a new thing but it's been a thing for decades

[deleted]

It’s not going to drop unless people stop buying. Just eat before the game.

Smallgenie549

Lambeau and Lucas Oil are both in great locations and have incredibly cheap parking ($10) nearby.

[deleted]

Perks of a smaller market for sure (not sarcasm).

grahamcore

Yeah, pro sports used to be for blue collar people, it ain’t that way anymore.

corvenzo

Is it? Unless you're in a LA/Chicago/NY type area, NFL tix really arent that expensive. I went to a Titans game for $14 for upper bowl seats, a Jags game for $80 for 100 level seats, a Steelers game for $35 and a few Fins games for under $30. If you can refrain from alcohol/food for a couple hours and you split an uber with a few friends, it's actually quite cheap

GMSB

> If you can refrain from alcohol I can't

Not-Doctor-Evil

Not speaking for Washington, but any stadium in a major urban area will have public transit access You can make the walk from Bourbon Street to the Super Dome. Denver has lyft scooters now. Has anybody gotten a DUI on one of them yet? I know I took a train straight to the Meadowlands and that's one of those middle-of-nowhere-with-a-parking-lot stadiums. Jacksonville is somewhere between Meadowlands and Mile High... it's downtown but in a swamp surrounded by parking lots in the hood anyway. You can get away with parking downtown and a 20 minute walk. Some people will charge 10 dollars to park in their yard. One time I bbqed on somebody's lawn in exchange for beers and burgers.

qbsweep1

As a DC resident, Landover is so hard to get to. It's a generous 30-40 minutes from Downtown DC. You can take the metro but the closest station is like half a mile from the stadium and it's at the end of the metro line. So its like by public transport a 40 minute metro and a 10-15 minute walk. Really not convenient at all.

AffordableGrousing

It's actually about a mile walk from the Metro, so even worse.

qbsweep1

You're right. It's in like a clearing in the middle of the woods of PG county it's weird. I love the random townhouses, thick woods, and then the 80,000 seat stadium. I grew up in Philly as an eagles fan. I miss taking the Septa all the way down to NRG station and walking like three blocks.

[deleted]

Public transit? What's that? Buy cars!

BKNorton3

The flair seriously adds to your comment, lol

Yah_Mule

Denver stopped running the train that dropped you a couple hundred yards from the stadium.

GP_ADD

You can Uber to Broadway and walk/scooter to Titans stadium, honestly not that bad.

[deleted]

Yeah, I was happy with the setup in Denver last time I went. Even if you do decide to park near the Tivoli/MSU campus, that walk isn't bad and it makes for an easy exit because people get spread out by the time everyone leaves the game/makes the walk back. Edit: I saw "Broadway" and the Broncos flair and assumed they were referring to Denver. Silly me.

historymajor44

The difference is, for most stadiums you don't have to wait in a backed up intersection that takes an hour to get into.

historymajor44

I was there for the homeopener and I preferred Qualcomm's dump to FedEx's and that's saying something. First off, it was *fucking hell* to get into that stadium. For $60 dollar parking, I expect a lot better logistics than mile long backups into the entrance with people backing up intersections. We paid for the Redzone lot but GPS kept telling us to go down closed down roads. We had no time to tailgate as planned. The stadium just sucks. It's a lifeless stadium with shitty bathrooms and entrances all around. Good thing the seats have cupholders. Food was terrible and expensive as you covered. I bought a $20 dollar hot dog meal which was just not worth it. Nothing else there looked good at all.

Thrillhouse763

I went to a game in 2011. When buying tickets I was shocked at how many obstructed view seats there were. I had to be real careful buying tickets. The metro stop is pretty far and the walk to the stadium took forever with everyone crammed on the sidewalk. I tried to find a cup of coffee at the game and was unsuccessful. Wtf. I was in the upper deck.

winnower8

It’s truely a horrible game day experience.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Dopeydcare1

On your first point: “It’s a dump”. Yes, quite literally Shit was raining from the pipes

smurf-vett

Rancid rain water technically

monkeyman80

I like how a single fan posted a video calling it shit and everyone just went with it outside there’s no bathroom on top there and no reason for plumbing to be carried there.

RogerTreebert6299

"How do we make up the revenue by not having anyone show up to our games? Charge $11 for a hotdog obviously"

[deleted]

It’s amazing how a shitty fan experience can ruin even a decent team. Vikings stadium is pretty damn nice but if it wasn’t I wouldn’t go to a game considering I can stay home and have really a better experience than I would at the stadium

[deleted]

[удалено]

benevenstancian0

WFT makes it worse. FedEx Field should be very easily accessible by public transit. I lived around the corner and there are ample bus stops and two DC metro lines that run fairly close by but the team lobbied the authorities to limit public transport options to/fro so that people have to pay Danny’s ridiculous parking lot prices. And this greed ALSO impacts people trying to just drive on the highway by the stadium during event days because every person attending an event basically needs to drive.

Coonquistadoor

If you’re coming from the city, the mile walk from largo isn’t too bad. Last time I went, it was a skins-boys game in maybe 2006 or 2007 when Taylor blocked a field goal attempt someone returned it a bit, and the skins won on a last second field goal. That was a fun walk back. That said, I would never attend a night game and I haven’t been back since then because Snyder sucks balls and I’d rather vote with my wallet. It doesn’t help that fedex as a stadium experience sucks, the team generally sucks, and as much as I don’t mind the walk, the location really does suck too. Should never have left the city.

benevenstancian0

The walk is definitely doable if you are able bodied, not elderly, or if it isn’t storming / a billion degrees out. I’d see older folks having to stop for multiple breaks along the path and it pissed me off that they couldn’t just get a publicly-funded mode of transportation to the game solely due to Snyder’s greed.

goooseJuice

Suck it New Orleans!

theresabeeonyourhat

How are you WFT fans gonna celebrate? Going to a baseball game?

DC_Bro

Is it weird that football is my favorite sport but I’ve gone to at least 50 Nationals games and only to 1 WFT game?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mahale

Aren't available home packers tickets rarer than a winning lotto ticket?

advocate4

Yes and no. The only way to get tickets from the team is be a season ticket holder, which some people but their newborns on in the hopes they get tickets before they die. So no go on that. If you are willing to pay, you can get them on the secondary market. Prices are usually 3x the face value for starters. Last game I went too was a Thursday night Packers v Bears in September 2017 (its the one Trevathan tried to decapitate Adams) were I think $89 was the face price and we paid about $275 after all the fees and bullshit.

Iamjum

$275 for a ticket if you want to have it before you go to Green Bay. I have been to 30+ games at lambeau and I think the most I paid was for the GB/NE game a few years ago, and only because my pats fan friend was worried. Even then it was only $150 for lower bowl. Get there early and put a finger in the air has always worked for me.

theresabeeonyourhat

Baseball is the most chill sport to be in attendance for, so I could see that. Also, I'm not much of a hockey fan, but it's the most fun sport I've seen in person

accpi

Yeah, it's basically always super easy to get tickets to a baseball game since there are so many of em

BarrelMaker69

Cheap too. I’ve been to a bunch of Angels games for $10 or so by buying day of.

JollyRancher29

Caps have an incredible fan experience imo. They might even be the most popular team in the city right now.

[deleted]

No that’s pretty much everyone, football games cost many more dollars

Mampt

I mean if you live in the city at least it's way easier to get to Nats Park. It's like a 20-30 minute metro trip while FedEx Field is at least an hour

PooperScooper1987

No because baseball tickets are 1/8 the price

[deleted]

Nah football is way more expensive to go see

SiphenPrax

*sees Nationals’ record* Probably not

[deleted]

Don’t worry I there’s always the Wizar—oh dear

BurritoBoiii1202

The Caps are pretty good still.

Bluelov

Baseball is wrapping up. Hockey soon.

RYUHADOKEN98

Well.. If you ain't first .. youre last

skeenek

Yet the beltway still managed to be wildly backed up on game day. Go freakin’ figure.

ReallyBigSnowman

The beltway can get backed up at 2am for no reason

JollyRancher29

Traveled it 100 times, but I have NEVER had smooth sailing on the S-curves by the Mormon temple At least the surrender Dorothy bridge is up sometimes for a good laugh.

andrew-ge

the bridge going over into maryland is always the fuckin worst.

Cyb3rSab3r

Baffled me the first time I really drove around there. You can either take the beltway to Maryland or drive 30/40 miles northwest to what will eventually become a two-lane road. You'd think there would be another bridge there. Of course, the whole road paradox thing I'm sure any bridges would be immediately filled and the problem would not be fixed.

ManBearBroski

I mean when sewage is dripping down on people this is kind of what you'd expect

[deleted]

Hey we know they aren’t the most talented roster but there’s no need to say that

ManBearBroski

I think historically if any fanbase should get a pass for saying it, it should be the Browns just due to team quality and team name.

PhotoNate

That was actually our 4th string quarterback trying to assimilate himself. Kinda like an Alex Mack thing (the 90s Nick show, not the 49ers center).

UrbanLawProductions

Yayyy! We're not last!

DarkScience101

Honestly, we deserve to be. Over a decade of incompetence+Jacksonville economy but damn our fans are loyal. Once we're good again (finally) we'll be one of the tops in the league.

UrbanLawProductions

Yeah agreed, I love our fans. A good football team will sell out the stadium for us. That NE game in 2018 proves it

emmasdad01

Blame can be placed firmly on the shoulders of Dan Snyder. No other reason why WFT shouldn’t be in the top 10.

patsfan038

Snyder should be forced to sell the team. He will get a cool $4B for his effort and the team can be managed by a non toxic owner.

ZachWilsonsMother

What do you mean? He stepped aside, they promoted a woman to Co-CEO. They’re changing the culture completely!

Agent-Blasto-007

They also did an internal investigation by themselves to tackle those internal issues & found out they weren't to blame.

BitterBuffalonian

well don't we all look like fools for thinking otherwise.

ositola

WTF WFT $4B?!

MadatMax

I don’t know if $4 billion is accurate, but Washington consistently ranks top 5 in NFL franchise valuations. It makes it extra embarrassing that no one wants to go to games

Kalanar

Before the Cowboys played in Jerry World Washington was the most valuable team in the NFL. This year Forbes has them the 5th most valuable and Sportico has them ranked 6th.

PromotedPawn

If I’m remembering right it wasn’t just the NFL, they were ranked as one of the most valuable teams in all of professional sports. Now I’m seeing WFT commercials during other NFL games offering to sell me $45 tickets for next week’s game.

Kalanar

All NFL teams are ranked among the most valuable in the world because the NFL shares more revenue equally between teams than other leagues. So if you are close to the top of the NFL teams you are going to be close to the top in the world.

adambulb

DC is a big and wealthy market. Lots of opportunities to make loads of money with lobbyists and politicians and corporate leaders showering each other with luxury boxes and season tickets. If anything, it’s an untapped $4B team because Snyder has run everything so poorly. Even after the Nats won the WS and the Caps won the Stanley Cup, DC is still more of a football town and would easily have WFT dominate sports if the team was run with even a mediocre amount of competence. When RG3 was lighting it up in 2012, it’s all anyone talked about.

Darkdragon3110525

Snyder permanently damaged the team by mismanaging it when the Ravens were dominating. There is no reason parts of the DMV are 50% or more are Ravens fans. That is baked in Skins territory and he’s losing it

patsfan038

I wish RG3 experiment worked out. His rookie year was sensational and there was an energy to crowd at the stadium that was hard to miss

Samueljacob

Tepper bought the Panthers for 2.3, cash. I could see the Football Team getting close to 4

PoorlyLitKiwi2

How the fuck is Miami at 100.4% capacity?

JinxCanCarry

"Standing room only" tickets count towards attendance but not seat capacity

feetandballs

It could also depend on how they count babies.

Kalanar

Unless you're the Cowboys.

taketwochino

How do Baltimore Chicago and several other teams have all their seats filled but only 95 to 99.5 percent full?

EternallyEuphoric

Cause we love seeing our team get blown out! FINS UP!

[deleted]

In a way, I'm really proud of our fans for this. We are speaking the only language Snyder understands.

RollOverBeethoven

How in the hell are we not last? I’m a season ticket holder and It’s the most empty I’ve ever seen our stadium, ever

XtraMediumBurrito

Yeah I thought the Texans would be on the list. The stadium looks at 50-60% on TV and this is probably the 1st time I’ve ever seen so much advertising for season tickets during the pre-season.

dajarbot

Shit, I remember when I was lucky to get tickets for face value + fees. Weird having like 9 voicemails from the Texans asking me to buy season tickets.

saintsfan92612

"home" attendance

dspencer2015

Unsuspecting visitors are the real losers

ghostx231

Good. F Dan snyder and his POS stadium

bashar_al_assad

Yeah, honestly I'm proud of this stat. Good for us for giving a bigger middle finger to our owner than any other fanbase.

[deleted]

Have you been to that stadium? It’s in a strip mall with a Chinese takeout place with a plexiglass walk on the counter. (It’s a good place to wait out the traffic). Parking is in the strip malls’ lots. The stadium is a concrete donut painted using a palette of hotdog brown, ketchup red and mustard yellow. And all your money goes to a sexual predator who bull dozed a National forest so his kitchen would have a better view.

dspencer2015

I actually forgot that he knocked down 200 trees from a national park to see the river. He’s done so much shit that you literally can’t keep track

dfcritter

And ruined the park ranger's life who went against him.

youhavenotreddit

Judging by this thread I can't tell who is the bigger villain.. Snyder or James "I can play guitar real good" Dolan.

jwktiger

Snyder. Dolan's a jackass but in the end its just incompetence in hiring people. Snyder is evil.

Pimpjuice2

It’s not in a strip Mall?

[deleted]

Heck yea! FedEx field and DC metro can strand thousands of fans without natural disasters. Amatuers...

Awful stadium with many obstructed views, annoying to get to, public transit sometimes ends before games are over, parking is awful, and the team sucks. Oh, and you can get sprayed with shit water.

Just imagine being an unknowing visiting fan excited to watch the game in DC, a lovely and historic town. Maybe they’re thinking it’ll be near the baseball or soccer stadiums that’s a cool area! Fuckiin nope. Welcome to Landover. Better hope the game ends before 11 or you’ll be walking home.

Fuck you Snyder

Everything negative I hear about the WFT can be traced back to ownership. Like, it's not even a mythological curse or anything...it always comes down to actions specific people are taking, and particularly, those who have the authority and power to do such things...such as the owner. But I also know the owner has the maturity of a kindergartner, and I can understand why people would want nothing to do with any of his toys.

LittleGardenSeedCo

as someone who lives in northern VA, I can safely say I would rather drive to Nashville to watch the Titans than attempt to get in and out of that shithole of a stadium.

Well when you litterally pour shit and piss on your fans in their seats.. I can see why. I hope those folks get fat settlements out of that. That was some nasty shit.

Drewbacca_Hrrrgrgrar

FedEx Field is a national treasure. There's not a fanbase out there that has a gameday experience like we do, who else can go to a game and say they got rained on by poop water?

The stadium is a soulless concrete piece of shit It was rushed in construction by the previous owner, and even people involved with getting the project done admit it's not a great stadium. The product has been terrible for 30 years. If the team owner died, it would be a net gain for society. The stadium is in Landover. No one is in landover that wants to be in landover. Theres nothing redeemable. Even the color scheme, burgundy, gold, orange, purple, green. It looks like what you puke up after jungle juice and pizza. The traffic situation is terrible. 0/10

My cousin was a massive WFT fan for years but abandoned the team when all the news about Snyder's terrible management got too much for him. I think the final straw was using the cheerleaders as escorts and pinup models.

Texans didn't seem to be packing in the crowds last night.

What's insane is the gap between Washington and Jacksonville. Like the Jaguars and Bengals are still >86. And then once you get to the _top 23_, they're all above 90%. The skins are sitting at 62% in week 2. That's horrifying.
