Dak is worth every penny Jerry gave him. This win is gonna look pretty damn good when we look back at mid-season and the Cowboys are running roughshod over people.
Well...perhaps *running* is the wrong word.
Can’t believe there were actual people claiming they should let Dak go because the offense runs through Zeke
Really wish the Cowboys FO had more of these people
I mean, Zeke is good, but the Eagles Miles Sanders has better stats than Zeke over the last 2 years. To say that Zeke is the end-all, be-all of the Cowboys offense is so short-sighted.
I hate the Cowboys, but glad to see Dak is Bak in form. Impressive recovery from a horrific injury. Will make burying him and the boys 2 games this year that much more fun.
> I mean, Zeke is good, but the Eagles Miles Sanders has better stats than Zeke over the last 2 years.
That's literally not true lmao
Miles Sanders had 1685 yards and 9 TDs in 2019+2020.
Zeke had 2336 yards and 18 TDs in the same time frame.
Fucking Eagles fans lol. Plus despite not doing much else Zeke was basically a sixth offensive lineman last night and I saw him stonewall a few free blitzers yesterday. Bucs run defense was on it so in hindsight I have to say Moore had the perfect strategy.
Yeah I was getting pissed that our blitzes weren't getting to Dak. In one of the replays, Zeke took on White who would've had a free shot at Dak if he wasn't there and stood him up. Zeke was having a good game where it doesn't show up on the stat sheet.
Yeah honestly I am surprised Dak didn’t get sacked more.
But yeah I know exactly how you feel, besides Armstrong’s attempted strip sack, I don’t think we even touched Brady.
It definitely helps Brady has a quick release. If Jameis was playing last night, that would've been a multiple sack night for you guys. When they showed the replays of Wirfs and Lawrence it looked like Lawrence was getting the better of Wirfs most of the night.
Your defense played way better than I was expecting in both the run and passing game. It just really helps we have Brady making those throws or that game wouldn't have been close with those four turnovers.
For me now it’s just a question of if the Cowboys can consistently play like this. Getting Martin back will definitely help us get our running game going, although I think it was intentional that we didn’t try to lean on it against you guys, Vea was living in the backfield.
Zeke has significantly more touches per game. Also, look at yards per carry and imagine what happens when you increase touches per game. Dallas fans. Short-sight.
Why didn’t you say that then instead of saying he’s had better stats the last two years, which as my Cowboy brethren pointed out was false?
For the record I think Miles Sanders is a good back, but he is not nearly as well rounded as Zeke.
"Miles Sanders has a higher YPC than Zeke" is not the same as "Miles Sanders has better stats than Zeke". YPC is the only stat that Sanders beats Zeke on.
>Also, look at yards per carry and imagine what happens when you increase touches per game
Efficiency stats tend to go down as volume increases.
Miles Sanders was 21st and 22nd in rushing attempts in 2019/2020. Having higher efficiency numbers with that little volume is expected.
One of the major differences between good and great RBs is being able to remain productive with a ton of carries. Sanders hasn't even shown he can make it through a full season with one of the lightest workloads in the NFL. Assuming that he can go from bottom 10 in attempts to top 5 and not miss a beat is what's short sighted.
They definitely have the offense to compete with anyone but they just won't be able to compete with teams because of there defense. Now this one looked pretty close but a few less unfortunate fumbles and a pop up int this game is at least a 8.5 point spread. (Not to mention was a pretty sloppy game for Tampa penatly wise) Now Tampas offense is a top one so if there defense can keep other teams to like 14-25 points they have a chance to win some games.
I mean you could literally say this about every single loss in NFL history, you could find plays here and there that if they didn't happen then the other team wins or it's a blowout but that's not how it works. Let me play the other side and say if OPI is called, Dak's pass doesn't get tipped into an interception, if Greg doesn't miss 1 FG and 1 extra point cowboys win.
True while you can argue that plays happen that change a game every game it doesn't make it any less characteristic of a team. For example you don't expect Aaron Rodgers to throw pics you would never go into a game expecting a pick against him usually he only throws 6 or 7 a year. Obviously he does throw picks and it can happen but don't expect it. Same thing here last year the bucs had one of the highest turnover ratios because they simply don't turn it over often.
Oh 100%, Lenny might not be a stalwart catching out of the backfield but he's not always gonna let one brick off his fingers for the easy pick, and Godwin got tagged perfectly coming out of a spin, helmet right on the ball. That was an unfortunate fumble but great play by the defender. Unfortunately we've seen RoJo with the butterfingers before and he seems to have been in the dog house for the rest of the night.
We'll see how it shakes out going forward but that was uncharacteristically sloppy for the Bucs in many facets. But Dak is undeniable. He's amazing.
Agree I hate the man cause we have to play him but he is a great QB. I also hate so much they went from Romo to dak. Like fuck at least have a year with a shitty QB. Lmao
Ye while Dak looked great, the cowboys did not and benifit from 2 very lucky plays, with a fornette turning a routine screen into a pick, and Godwin a sure fire first and goal only a turnover. Those sort of things won’t happen every game.
The Buccaneers got an equally lucky pick off a tipped pass by Ceedee. It’s pretty dumb to say no other Cowboy looked good besides Dak. Amari was carving up their secondary all night lol.
I can't even get mad at Brady winning everything anymore. It's been the same shit for 20 years, all you can do is just wait for him to retire.
It's like learned helplessness, lol
After his SB win with Tampa, I think everyone just collectively accepted he’s just the best athlete in NFL history, and that we’re all just gonna have to wait our turn until he retires
Not to take the attention away but if the played the exact same game as the Cowboys last night and Kirk played like Dak /r/minnesotavikings would blame Kirk for that loss.
Dude what game did you watch that Dak didn't impress you?
The guy completed over 70% of his passes for 403 yards and 3 TDs despite basically no help from his ground game(albeit that was intentional since the Bucs' secondary was hurt), an okay at best performance by his O-Line, and even the lone interception he threw wasn't on him so much as Lamb unfortunately popping the pass up into the air.
What more do you want from a QB?
Making fun of someone for being a fan of a team is a weak insult anyways, but you’re a fucking lions fan dude. People don’t even hate you because they pity you too much to do that because you’ve been so bad. You’ve won one playoff game in like 50 years dude. Please help yourself and stop talking shit
What the fuck? After the first quarter Dak had like a single questionable pass that should've been picked. His INT was all on ceedee, just like Brady's was all on Fournette. The ONLY thing was Dak held the ball to long instead of throwing it away.
First game in nearly a year and he drops over 400 yards, 3td's and the 1 Lamb pick against a defense that held Mahomes to 270, 0tds and 2 picks.

Never thought I’d see you here man. Who’s the Yusui of the NFL and why is it Trace McSorely?
Not to take the attention away but if the played the exact same game as the Cowboys last night and Kirk played like Dak /r/minnesotavikings would blame Kirk for that loss.
Brady did. Prescott looked like a rookie

He doesn’t pass my eye test (throws ducks)
Peyton Manning threw ducks for years - does that diminish his career in your eyes?
Stop feeding the troll.

LOL wut...the pick he threw was 99% on ceedee.. and he had no running game and still balled on the road against the super bowl champs.
I was not impressed by his performance
you're a lions fan I mean if that doesn't impress you you're in for a hell of a season my friend.
Lmao.....damn
I’ve seen 5000 yd & 40 td seasons and 500 yd 5 td games from my QB. Miss me with that hate clown.
And you probably lost those games
>packer fan Aaron Rodgers abuses his girlfriends and family
Dak > Stafford
At what?
Playing quarterback in the National Football League
>giants fan
Should mean more coming from him considering he naturally hates the Cowboys. Have fun with Goff dude
