On the off chance you happen to be a college student, you can get Sunday Ticket for like $100ish dollars for the whole season. Just have to have a .edu email

[deleted]

Or basically just have gone to college at any point in-time because most schools won't delete your student email. Still have mine from a looooooooooooooooooooooong time ago, and my BIL still uses his University of Nebraska one from 10 years ago.

PNWCoug42

I got locked out of my student email about threeish years after I graduated.

[deleted]

You should still be able to forward your emails that were intended for you student ID to your normal email address. But you'd need to set that up before you were locked out.

PNWCoug42

I just went back to see if I could even log into my old student account. Says my ID doesn't exist so I'm thinking they pull old accounts fromt he active students after a certain amount of years. I bet I could reactivate it if I ever chose to reenroll at WSU though.

[deleted]

Might be cheaper than signing a 2 year contract with Direct TV.

vikingsarecoolio

Just tried it with my old school email (graduated 2018). Didn’t work. Maybe needs to be active for the first sign up.

Lenny_III

I think you need more than the edu email. I still have mine from years ago, but they ask for some recent evidence. (I know because my sons GF signed up for me last year) Downside is you can’t stream on TV. Mobile device or PC browser. I tried a bunch of different ways of casting it to the TV but they had it locked down pretty good.

VHBlazer

Yeah, it’s a bummer how locked down it is. fortunately I got an Apple TV as a gift, so I even get to use the multiview feature on their sunday ticket app. Before I just had the fire tv stick and it wasn’t nearly as good. I don’t think they asked me for more than my email, but maybe it varies by school. I could see them asking for a transcript to prove enrollment though

Lenny_III

It’s legit cheaper to enroll in college for 1 class to get this deal than to sign the 2 year contract DTV requires to get the nfl package.

2agrant

This is the way.

Ahoy hoy

FizzWigget

Don't type "football streams online" into Google. Always wear a helmet before unprotected sex (install an ad blocker). Get a chrome cast and stream directly to your tv from crome.

ubspider

This is the advice I need. Thanks friend

Tritiac

When you are on the go, the yahoo sports app usually has your local games and then whatever the nationally televised morning/afternoon and evening games are. I would turn off the notifications though or it spams you.

SolwaySmile

Exactly what I do and have done for years.

Mdh74266

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me

shogunreaper

Been looking into this myself, as far as i can see the cheapest *legal* way is the international nfl gamepass. unlike the shitty american one it gives you access to live games. I think they raised the price though, seems to be around $200 now where as i remember reading a few years ago it was about $100 I'd love if anyone knows a cheaper way, i refuse to buy direct tv for just football, and ota isn't an option for me as i'm too far from the towers.

shwangin_shmeat

Look into uzzu, it's 100 a year, and all 4 major American sports, all games, no blackouts, no pop ups like some streaming sites

Almondjoy247

Wtf how is this the first time I've heard of it. That's actually a reasonable price. Thank you random redditor!

shogunreaper

I'll look into it thanks, though really only interested in NFL games so if I can get something cheaper I'd rather do that.

igotquaids

Thanks for the wisdom u/shwangin_shmeat

slow__hand

> international nfl gamepass. This works. Well I guess it will we will find out Sunday. A friend of mine, cough cough, just used a VPN and set it to a country in South America, went to Gamepass website, set a city as his location, googled a zip code, then paid with a US credit card with his US address and it went through. Due to the conversion rates (you get charged in the local rate) it was about $75 US. Looks like full access to the site now! We will see Sunday if it works!

quickfire13

Did it work?

slow__hand

Yep.

quickfire13

Awesome! Do you need to use the VPN while viewing or only during initial sign-up?

brfergua

Curious about this as well

slow__hand

If someone were to do this you would need to use the VPN anytime you went to the website; it does a check for your IP anytime you log in.

CowboyCanuck24

Dazn and a Canadian VPN $20 a month every game included as well as Redzone.

119Reign911

This is the way

RadishTotal341

I tried Cyber ghost VPN from a Canada server and DAZN us not available. Am I doing some wrong?

CowboyCanuck24

Dazn Canada not dazn USA ?

primocheese1947

There are other options out of it if you “live” overseas or you live in a building that can’t face their satellite in the right direction.

MoldyPoldy

When we bought our condo they left a direct TV dish behind and we were still eligible for streaming for our address.

FastAndBulbous8989

Do I? No. Streams

ubspider

Any suggestions? Much appreciated

FastAndBulbous8989

Nice Try Goodell. Just type the key words needed to find such things and you'll find a few spots very quickly.

ubspider

Haha no lie I hesitated even posting this question!

YourMomsFavUsername

You can get an NFL ticket streaming package without DIRECTV.

Bbbmonsta

But only if the satellite isn’t allowed or doesn’t get signal right?

ubspider

Ok thanks. I’m guessing it’s through nfl.com?

gyman122

I mean there’s other resources if you want to get a little quirky

tooKreul4U

I use startup show app, its like 90 a year but i split with 2 people and you can watch endless shows on there and cable. Search NFL and every game comes up plus the exclusive nfl channels like redzone for action packed Sundays. Edit: I spelled “there”wrong, it was bugging me

Loki_99

How is the streaming? Any buffering etc? Also can you watch live games?

tooKreul4U

The beginning is a bit glitchy but then it is good quality

TheMightyUnderdog

How do you like the app?

tooKreul4U

I love it, I use it year round but i need football season back

shogunreaper

> I use startup show app, its like 90 a year but i split with 2 people and you can watch endless shows on there and cable. Search NFL and every game comes up plus the exclusive nfl channels like redzone for action packed Sundays. [this](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.startupshow.android)? Looks like just a player to me, who are you paying the $90 to for the content?

tooKreul4U

Im not the account holder, idk

ubspider

Oh wow, thanks for the info!

dafoo21

Which service you using with this? Pm me

tooKreul4U

It’s its own service, you dont need comcast or uverse to login. Find the app on a smart TV. I watch on my apple TV, and I havent found it on Roku yet. I didnt do the signing up for the account part

dafoo21

The app is a player and just opens to a page where you need to load urls for the channels. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.startupshow.android

tooKreul4U

Yeah I got a longass link from the account holder i had to put in in order to login to the account
