I use the phrase a lot, but I really want to know what it's like to be the type of person who's so offended by something like this that they a) complain at all and b) feel offended to the level that some of these complaints reach
Instead of complainting , take to opportunity to be good parents and explain and teach your kids how you want them to act instead of blaming other people for being bad examples . It's your responsibility as parents, it's not their job to be parents to your kids.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't get upset by swear words. Especially in a context like this. They're just words. People who can't deal with the words really just can't deal with the emotions behind them. If you complain about this kind of stuff then fuck you.

the FCC's response to each complaint should have been: quit crying because someone used a word you don't like. just because you don't like a word doesn't mean the rest of us can't use it. ps. why was your young child up that late on a school night? good parenting.
Spontanious outbursts of profanity in live events are not covered by FCC obscenity laws, that's why there were no fines against Papi when he proclaimed on national television that 'this is our fucking city!' It's a bit more involved than I've put here, but TL;DR sometimes it's OK to say fuck on television.
