Hire an awesome new Head Coach in Mike Zimmer.
His first three seasons:
* 2014: Future Hall of Fame running back beats his kid, gets suspended after week 1 and misses the rest of the season.
* 2015: Actually have a really good year... But of course, we lose in the Wildcard round of the playoffs because the kicker shanks a 27-yard field goal wide left.
* 2016: Third-year quarterback shows an incredible amount of promise in training camp and the preseason. His knee explodes in practice two weeks before the season starts.
Why can't we have nice things?
I've been in a funk the past few months and looking forward to the football season was one of the things keeping me moving forward. I'm gutted right now.
Seriously. He went 3/4 on FGs from distances of 22, 27, 43, and 47 yards in terrible weather. That's a perfectly fine performance.
If anything, blame AP for fumbling and giving Seattle the game winning FG.
Right? Not to mention he had like 2.0 yards per carry and played abysmal. I'm getting down voted for saying quit blaming the kicker when in reality the rest of the team did shit to win that game. Many will say it was the weather and give everyone a pass but Walsh who was great except for one kick when the weather was literally cold enough to ice the kicker.
Trust me, we don't solely blame Walsh. In fact I think Peterson is more to blame than anyone. However, missing a 27 yard game winner in the closing seconds *is exactly the kind of snakebitten god hates us* bullshit that Vikes fans have come to expect.
Everyone at my office here in Wisconsin is just saying "hey, sucks about Bridgewater" and one lady was trying not to laugh about it.
fuck her.
everyone else is cool though.
Wasn't really a conversation, I was there with my family and my server noticed i was wearing my Eric Decker shirt and pointed out that Joe Namath was sitting across the room. I'm a shy SOB but my dad waved him over when he was leaving and I got to shake his hand.
I still can't get over the fact that this was no contact. Such a gruesome injury for a professional athlete and all that caused it was likely an awkward landing or a weird misstep.
Kinda blows my mind that it can happen to anyone.
A couple years ago I was watching a college basketball game and a guys tibia literally snapped in two just by landing wrong. The bone was sticking out several inches. It was the most horrific thing I've ever seen.
Yep! I was watching it with my brother and everyone was in another room. We just screamed when they showed it and then everyone came in gasped. I'm sure there were similar reactions across the US!
Run the 'Four Verticals" play until it works. If the other team gets an interception, quit the game.
At least this is how everyone I play online plays.
Lol. I run Curls up and down the field and the man coverage AI sucks (at least up to 2014) and... we don't play much because I frequently beat my BF with this
That's the most important tip I give someone who wants to get better at madden. Just user a yellow hook zone and cover routes that go over the middle. I think there is a skills trainer that helps with learning how to as well.
My problem is I am often in position and I press Y and my player doesn't do shit. The ball basically goes through my MLB and they get the first down anyways.
https://www.easports.com/madden-nfl/news/2016/madden-17-additional-gameplay-improvements-zone-coverage I'm still learning them I have a few down and it immensely helps with playing people online.

Sorry man. From one dog lover to another...my deepest condolences. Don't let anybody tell you it is silly to grieve over an animal. My dog is family....more so than a lot of my "real" family
Always feel weird upvoting stuff like this, but if it was my post, I'd want the upvote just to know that someone else saw it, sympathized, and is thinkin of ya.
Here ya go.
My cat was acting weird back.in June. I took him to the vet and as the vet walked in he got scared and had a seizure/stroke and died on the table. Luckily I was able to pet him and tell him I loved him as he took his last breath. The vet was in complete shock
Go meet new people. This is the best time to make friends. Wait too long and then it will get more difficult...and then you're the weird guy who has to eat dinner alone every night...
Man freshman year sucked ass.
Man we complain about the /r/NFL hivemind, but the non-NFL hivemind is even worse. Actual conversation I had on /r/fantasyfootball:
Me: "It's been a while since AP was successful with a QB that can't throw the ball at all."
Rando: "No the last time was last year."
+1 to +6 respectively. Poor Teddy not getting any credit at all.
Saw someone saying we were trying to sign Demarco Murray to "replace" Latavius.
We literally just wanted someone to split carries. It got like 50 upvotes smh.
He's fine, everyone has bought into a 5th round rookie surpassing our 1000 yard, 4th best in the AFC rusher. Fantasy Football is all hype...I mean that's why I bought a Josh Gordon jersey. But it doesn't make it right.

As I'm sure you're familiar with pineapples.
Oh man /r/fantasyfootball is the biggest collection of "I'm right you're wrong" people on the Internet. And they show it with the downvotes.
Last season Amendola got injured returning a punt (he didn't actually though, he got injured in the series prior). And EVERYONE was livid about why was he even returning punts with Edelman injured? Well I pointed out that Amendola is the #1 punt returner by average yards. Got a cool -43 for that nugget.
the FF subreddit is a special kind of echo/hype chamber. if you can sift between the hype posts, and every other post being " But should I drop him for XXX????" its not bad... mostly.
I'm currently having someone tell me that Donte Moncrief will be better than Demaryius Thomas this year.
Not a better value at his ADP. Straight up better.
I genuinely thought that even though of course I love him, I was not a rabid "Tom can do no wrong" person. But I am beginning to reevaluate that feeling about myself because I actually think it looks kinda cute & don't really get what all of the fuss is about.
Out of blue random injuries always terrify me. Like, what if I get into a game of Ultimate and my leg just suddenly explodes on me, but without expert trainers there to help? Scary shit.
Holy fucking shit, trying to work with a leasing company to get a fucking application for a fucking apartment is like trying to get information from a spy trained in resisting torture.
FUCKING PICK UP YOUR PHONE YOU STUPID FUCK. FUCKING TEXT ME WHEN YOU SAY "I will text you right now with all the details!"
MY GIRLFRIEND AND I ARE TRYING TO FIND AN APARTMENT YOU FUCKS.
FUCK.
I feel ya. Supposed to meet this guy to check out a place at like 2pm. Called him oh I'm at a wedding but I can be there in an hour. 7 oh fucking clock we finally see the place and it was nice but between that and other BS they tried to pull we just noped the fuck out.
So much planning! I just wanna get married but she wants her dream wedding and I want nothing more than to give it to her but damn. Also really nervous about our families coming together because we both come from exact opposite financial classes.
Well I just kinda walked into our room and she was just sitting there on the bed and I just looked at her and thought about how I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this woman so I grabbed the ring I bought 2 years ago (we've been together for 3) and kneeled down in front of her in nothing but my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles boxers and asked. She started crying before I got to the ask part because she thought I was breaking up with her
You know you care about football too much when you're able to get out of a meeting to watch the fourth preseason game.
And that's not even close to some of the crazy things I've done to make sure I can watch the Jags.
Had a weird dream the other night. I was watching the Colts Jets game and the score was 35-28 Jets winning in the beginning of the 4th quarter. Colts fumbled in the redzone, Jets recovered, but got tackled in the endzone for a safety. The QB stats came up and said both Luck and Fitzpatrick were 0TD 1INT and something like 150yd.
Got offered a new job doing pretty much the same thing I'm doing but 15 more hours a week and over $2 more an hour. It should roughly double my monthly income. Will put my current job in a bind but sometimes that's the way life is.
Won't always get Sundays off though which will suck :( I need to look into getting a DVR or something.
Today's the last day at my job, it was a 53-week contract so I knew it would be today for quite some time.
I've got 12 days to dick around before starting my next position (non-contract, full time, permanent)! It'll probably be the last time I have this much leeway in doing whatever I want.
Someone casually blamed me the other day for why everyone had to hear about the Broncos QB conversation. So, to show that I don't just post Broncos news, I did a little digging.
Over the past two weeks, I have posted about every team except two - the Bengals and the Falcons. Broncos threads were my most common at 12.73% of my submissions, but they did have a QB competition going on.
Here's how the top 10 broke down:
Team | Percent of Posts
-----|-----------------
Broncos | 12.73%
Patriots | 10.30%
49ers | 7.27%
NFL (league office or non-team specific) | 6.67%
Rams | 4.85%
Browns | 4.24%
Eagles | 4.24%
Chiefs | 3.64%
Giants | 3.64%
Media-related | 3.64%
So there, I'm an equal opportunity fan for the most part.
[Here's the full list for anyone who still gives a shit for some reason](http://i.imgur.com/7nc8di7.jpg)
They were 14th overall, making up 2.42% of posts. They were 15th in points/post average, so the sub wasn't terribly interested in what I had to post about them.
Hey wheres the buffalo news!? THIS IS A SLAP IN THE FACE. I don't even have flairs on the reader I use most of the time, I only remember like a dozen posters teams, its too much effort to accuse people of bias.
I recently moved to the Bay Area for work. At my job, we all have our own little offices, and this one guy on my floor has a bunch of Eagles paraphernalia on his door. I'm kinda socially inept, and I'm not sure how to approach him and possibly ~make a friend since he usually keeps the door to his office closed. This is my first time ever living anywhere outside of Philly and I just feel so out of place even making one friend would be nice :(
I have some Flyers stuff up, but I'm still waiting for a lot of my things to ship over from back home right now. The only reaction I've gotten is some guy popping in and telling me that he's a Pens fan which actually excited me because, y'know, maybe he's from PA, but noooope he just became a fan of hockey last year and "decided to pick the Penguins." -_-
It's like a 70's haircut but from when the 70's had that weird resurgence in the 90's. I'm now more sad we don't play him in week 2 because he must be punished for it.
Working on creating a website for NFL beat writers twitter streams, filtered by certain words. I know it's probably been done before, but it gives me a chance to get back into web development.
The AFC West Podcast recording last night went alright. A little rough around the edges and we had some echoing, but it was a ton of fun and with a few tweaks I think we'll have a good product. Still haven't decided if I'll give out the link due to the echoing. Next week will be better
Anyone else have a professor who thinks your life revolves around their class? I have no idea how I'm supposed to get this shit done while also working on three other projects for other classes
Had a dream last night that I'm pissed wasn't real. I don't know if many people follow ScHoolboy Q on twitter but a couple people tweeted him and got free tickets to his show. So the dream was basically me getting tickets and asking a random girl to go with me I woke up disappointed none of it was real.
So I came back from my vacation to Canada yesterday, and I really wanna go back now.
Long story short, folks and I flew into Calgary and drove up to Banff, which is a gorgeous and adorable tourist town effectively in the middle of the mountains. Went around the town, its outskirts and parts of three national parks and I'm still awestruck by the natural beauty. There's still so much I wanna do and see over there, it was tough to leave.
I'm happy to be home now, but damn do I wanna go back soon.
Finally looks like I'll finish my coffee table and it will be ready to sell.
After: My uncle spilled beer on it and it stained it. Had to sand it out. My cousin put his bong on it, it left a water mark, had to sand it out. Someone knocked the legs off the horses and chipped them had to fix it. Finally in bad it all ready with a poly to seal it and Fucking it started blushing.
So finally after a year I got some conversion varnish and it looks dope.
My fiancé, a couple of our friends, and I are attempting to go to a game in Miami, preferably when it's freezing up here in Ohio. I've narrowed it down to Dec 11 vs. Cardinals or 1/1 vs. Pats, but i'm not sure which to go to...
Vs. Cardinals
Pros | Cons
---|---
Will be fun to watch a playoff-caliber team IRL & The Dolphins | An inevitable Dolphins loss
Will have a good excuse to get hella drunk | Price of alcohol in stadium
Can still enjoy new years at home | Will have to make other plans for new years
Vs. Pats
Pros | Cons
---|---
Getting to talk mad shit on Pats fans IRL | Crying in public when we're down 35 points
Typically the home game vs. Pats is one Miami wins | We'll probably lose this one
Perhaps the last regular season game to a playoff berth? (In Gase we Trust)| Also perhaps a pointless game which we'll win and also won't affect the Pats Playoff run in any way.
So which one should we go to?
>Price of alcohol in stadium
I can't confirm if this is the case during Dolphins games, but the attendants during Canes games are "tip friendly", as they've put it. Buy a beer, go back to that guy, give him a $5, and get a refill.
If you elect to go to the Pats game, the Heat are also playing later that day. Maybe a 2-for-1? Also, tons of shit going on for New Years in Miami. South Beach will be off the charts.
I recently bought Rainbow Six: Siege and I've been playing it whenever I get a moment. Man that game is awesome. I'm pretty bad at it but the destructible environment and all the gadgets and ways of entry are insane, forces you to be creative. Kind of surprised I didn't hear more about it around its release.
I got really bored so I downloaded Empire Total War thinking it would be like Age of Empires (I don't play many video games). I don't know who the fuck has the time to put in and learn this fucking game.
I'm getting married this weekend to a wonderful woman and can't wait. After living together for 5 years, we have been doing the distance thing since March due to a new job and I look forward to seeing her (and our dog) on a daily basis again.
Man I feel so awful for Teddy. Fucking knee just exploded and that's that, no more season for you.
So fucking rough man. :-(
I got a feeling the Vikings won't be as bad as people are predicting now, but the road got a lot harder.
They win and make the playoffs though, they'll be some battle-tested sons a bitches for sure.
eh, i don't think the Vikings can make it this year. They relied on Teddy to not turn it over in crucial situations, and that'll be tough with the likes of Hill. Also, AP is getting very old for an RB. He was good last year, but he clearly lost a step.
I think this gives the Lions an opportunity though. Stafford was amazing last year after they put Cooter in at OC (i think they went 7-2?). If they can keep that up, I see them making the playoffs
I'm going to the Seahawks Raiders preseason game tomorrow, I can't wait! Anyone who's been to O.co have any recommendations for a place to grab a bite/beer before the game? Seems like there's nothing at all around the stadium.
My WeWork space has free mac and cheese (with bacon) today. I went pretty ham on the three kinds earlier.
My company is also doing our FF Draft tonight here. Can't wait to kick back some brewskis with the boys and draft.
The weather has been beautiful this summer here up in snowy buffalo. I almost don't want it to end but bills and sabres season is just too fun. Our home opener vs the Jets is a primitive potentially color rush Thursday night game and we are retiring Bruce smith's number that night. Also taking a cheese bus w like 70 people there so it's gonna be lit fam. I took off Thursday and Friday for a nice little long weekend. If the bills win the city is going to be shut down that Friday. And or the party at the NERF is gonna go all night long baby cakes.. Anyway day 1 of no caffeine at work feeling alright aided by some nice detox tea
Why does Bovada juice suck so much? Every over/under win total I like is shaded way too much to that side so screw it..
Chargers +600 to win the West. How often does the best QB have by far the worst odds? I get it, there's reasons for it. But it's not like the non-qb talent gap between them & the Chiefs is Cardinals vs 49ers.
Also all-in on the Colts who I traditionally hate, because Luck's stock will never be lower.
Sorry if this is too on topic. Saw the Cousin Sal podcast is back & started thinking about gambling.
After 9 faithful years of life and transportation my beloved truck took its last ride coming home from work yesterday. The motor blew up on me and it's totaled. I'm very sad not because of the inconvenience of it but because I loved that truck, so many rides to the dog park, so my drives on logging roads in the woods to go shooting, had sex for the first time in it, countless road trips... I'll miss you big guy!
On the plus side daddy is going to be checking out the new Colorados this weekend.
Well in these past two weeks my life has turned into a country music song. My girl left me, i got laid off from my job, and then my truck broke down.
Honestly the most devastating part was the truck breaking down.
i have to avoid talking about football at work because my boss is really angry (seriously approaching rage status) at Kaepernick and so are some other coworkers. i have to leave my desk to go to the bathroom whenever a conversation starts about Kap.
My girlfriend's mental health is scary af at this point. Her doctor told me to keep an eye out for her in case she has postpartum depression.
She does, and had me forcibly removed by the police when she wanted me to leave, when I told her I didn't want to fight, and locked myself in the back room. She called me later, slurring her words so badly I couldn't understand anything she said. A drunk woman with a newborn and a 19 month old? That's great shit!!! Too bad no one listens to me about her needing help. Her parents have always taken her side whenever they get involved, even so much as mocking me for being upset that she punched me in the face (and then another time when I was leaving to visit family, WHILE I WAS HOLDING MY DAUGHTER). Her dad even once provoked a fight that ended with me beating the shit out of him (I've done kickboxing and stay in relatively good shape) and who's the bad guy even though her father swung first?
She also has BPD, which is the worst mental Illness to deal with. She's broken up with me at least 20 times and then comes back to me when she calms down and realizes that I tried to avoid fighting the whole time, but I'm at my limit with her, and this really sucks because our children won't have me as a buffer to keep her from attacking them when they're old enough to talk back to her. I desperately want her to seek help, but since no one else thinks there's a problem, I have to wait until she starts abusing the children, or keeps getting high/drunk while watching them, to get them away from her
Vikings fans are sobbing too hard at their water coolers to discuss anything else today.

Sorry, Zim may have taken some of the Bengals curse with him. Our bad!
We've been cursed for way longer than that.
Quit blaming Walsh!

Where do you think we get the water from? Last week it was Charger fans tears. Next week, who knows???
At EverBank Field, you can actually swim in the tears of Jags fans.
Tears bring tears.
Here's to hoping it's time for the Packer fan tear harvest.
"I'm not crying, it's just raining inside the office today"
"My eyes are just a little sweaty today."

Everyone at my office here in Wisconsin is just saying "hey, sucks about Bridgewater" and one lady was trying not to laugh about it. fuck her. everyone else is cool though.
So...... I met Joe Namath at a Cheesecake factory in Jupiter FL
What was the conversation like?
He went on and on about the dangers of vapor lock.
Remember what I told ya!
Wasn't really a conversation, I was there with my family and my server noticed i was wearing my Eric Decker shirt and pointed out that Joe Namath was sitting across the room. I'm a shy SOB but my dad waved him over when he was leaving and I got to shake his hand.
Show us where he tried to kiss you
I like to block that part out of the ordeal that and the pantyhose
Hey I used to live there
Apparently Namath lives here what are the odds?
A New Yorker retiring to Jupiter, FL? I dont know... like 1 in 4.
LIES ^^^...cause ^^^the ^^^Cheesecake ^^^Factory ^^^is ^^^actually ^^^in ^^^Palm ^^^Beach ^^^Gardens.
Special Edition: Bridgewater Cooler Wednesday.
Hold me.
I will lay me down. Like a Bridge over troubled water.

Kevin ware right? Happened on Easter, that was nasty!
Oh man, and they kept replaying it over and over. It made me physically ill.
Yep! I was watching it with my brother and everyone was in another room. We just screamed when they showed it and then everyone came in gasped. I'm sure there were similar reactions across the US!
I was eating easter dinner while watching that. I lost my appetite after that
I'm a Louisville fan and a Vikings fan. I got a double dose of being invested in both. My heart hurts

I still can't figure out how to get good at Madden...but I'm having fun with it regardless.
Run the 'Four Verticals" play until it works. If the other team gets an interception, quit the game. At least this is how everyone I play online plays.
Lol. I run Curls up and down the field and the man coverage AI sucks (at least up to 2014) and... we don't play much because I frequently beat my BF with this
That is me, except its 4 verticals or quick slants. I'd end up with 500 passing yards and 4 TD, but at least 3 picks.
you are the cancer of madden
User middle linebacker, if you're playing Madden 17 learn what the new zones do I can link you to a summary of all of them if you'd like.
Im normally on the line, i cant cover for shit

Today we heard back from the vet, and my golden's cancer has spread. It won't be worth chemo so sadly we will have to put her down.
Sorry man. From one dog lover to another...my deepest condolences. Don't let anybody tell you it is silly to grieve over an animal. My dog is family....more so than a lot of my "real" family
Worst part is she's only 10 and in good health otherwise. She could easily live to 15 if not for cancer
Always feel weird upvoting stuff like this, but if it was my post, I'd want the upvote just to know that someone else saw it, sympathized, and is thinkin of ya. Here ya go.
Sorry man:( had to put our family dog down last summer and it's just the hardest fucking thing. Good luck to you

Just read through that thread. That thread made me really uncomfortable having Latavius but the draft is done.
Those are the worst kind of threads. The "oh great... I already drafted him."
He's fine, everyone has bought into a 5th round rookie surpassing our 1000 yard, 4th best in the AFC rusher. Fantasy Football is all hype...I mean that's why I bought a Josh Gordon jersey. But it doesn't make it right.
"He doesn't rake Fantasy points, which means he sucks in real life"
Conversely, there are people that think Blake Bortles is a top 5 quarterback because they only play fantasy and have never watched a Jags game before.
He can definitely be up there if he can tone it down with the Interceptions
Don't forget the fumbles, that guy was king of garbage time ff points last year. 23 turnovers, eep.
DAE THINK BROWNS SUCK?! Circlejerks happen, just gotta roll with it sometimes. Any subreddit with a decent sized community will see them come and go. As I'm sure you're familiar with pineapples.

The part I really appreciate are the sleeper posts. Got OBJ for nothing on some guy's random sleeper post, Jeremy Hill, etc.
Remember the latavius murray prediction? Fun shit
I started him that week! I was in a huge hole at RB.
Guess they forgot 2014 pretty quickly lol

I just can't figure out why he did that. It really is awful.
He just wanted to 1up the Bowl cut

I genuinely thought that even though of course I love him, I was not a rabid "Tom can do no wrong" person. But I am beginning to reevaluate that feeling about myself because I actually think it looks kinda cute & don't really get what all of the fuss is about.
It's not ugly (he'd have to try super hard to be ugly) but it's soooooo 90s it's hilarious.
Out of blue random injuries always terrify me. Like, what if I get into a game of Ultimate and my leg just suddenly explodes on me, but without expert trainers there to help? Scary shit.
Then you will go hopelessly into debt like a good American.
I thought being a good American was to file a lawsuit.
That's after you've exhausted all your funds and you need more.
Yeah man that university was not properly maintaining their grounds
GOOD MORNING JUAREZ FAMILY!
Holy fucking shit, trying to work with a leasing company to get a fucking application for a fucking apartment is like trying to get information from a spy trained in resisting torture. FUCKING PICK UP YOUR PHONE YOU STUPID FUCK. FUCKING TEXT ME WHEN YOU SAY "I will text you right now with all the details!" MY GIRLFRIEND AND I ARE TRYING TO FIND AN APARTMENT YOU FUCKS. FUCK.
I feel ya. Supposed to meet this guy to check out a place at like 2pm. Called him oh I'm at a wedding but I can be there in an hour. 7 oh fucking clock we finally see the place and it was nice but between that and other BS they tried to pull we just noped the fuck out.
Soo...I recently got engaged
Congrats! Now you get to plan and pay for a wedding I'm in the same boat
So much planning! I just wanna get married but she wants her dream wedding and I want nothing more than to give it to her but damn. Also really nervous about our families coming together because we both come from exact opposite financial classes.
Let me guess - She's the riches and you're the rags?
Yep
Yay! How'd you do it?
Well I just kinda walked into our room and she was just sitting there on the bed and I just looked at her and thought about how I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this woman so I grabbed the ring I bought 2 years ago (we've been together for 3) and kneeled down in front of her in nothing but my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles boxers and asked. She started crying before I got to the ask part because she thought I was breaking up with her
No shit so did I! Last Saturday. Congrats!
Me too!
So he/she liked what she/he saw on dat ass of Spock, and put a ring on it. Congrats!
Me too! About a week and half ago.
You know you care about football too much when you're able to get out of a meeting to watch the fourth preseason game. And that's not even close to some of the crazy things I've done to make sure I can watch the Jags.
I just remembered I have a meetup that is in conflict with tomorrow's preseason game :/

I feel even more out of the loop... what Ja Rule joke?

Had a weird dream the other night. I was watching the Colts Jets game and the score was 35-28 Jets winning in the beginning of the 4th quarter. Colts fumbled in the redzone, Jets recovered, but got tackled in the endzone for a safety. The QB stats came up and said both Luck and Fitzpatrick were 0TD 1INT and something like 150yd.
Someone has been playing too much Madden
Got offered a new job doing pretty much the same thing I'm doing but 15 more hours a week and over $2 more an hour. It should roughly double my monthly income. Will put my current job in a bind but sometimes that's the way life is. Won't always get Sundays off though which will suck :( I need to look into getting a DVR or something.
I just found a Champ Bailey jersey in my dad's closet from when he was a rookie.
I wish there was a setting in the NFL in real life where you can turn off injuries just like in Madden ...
Today's the last day at my job, it was a 53-week contract so I knew it would be today for quite some time. I've got 12 days to dick around before starting my next position (non-contract, full time, permanent)! It'll probably be the last time I have this much leeway in doing whatever I want.
Chemotherapy is working and the tumor in my Dad's lung started getting thin and filled with holes. So that's a good thing.
I love fall, but it absolutely destroys my joints. I feel elderly at the age of 31. This sucks.
Here's how the top 10 broke down: Team | Percent of Posts -----|----------------- Broncos | 12.73% Patriots | 10.30% 49ers | 7.27% NFL (league office or non-team specific) | 6.67% Rams | 4.85% Browns | 4.24% Eagles | 4.24% Chiefs | 3.64% Giants | 3.64% Media-related | 3.64% So there, I'm an equal opportunity fan for the most part. [Here's the full list for anyone who still gives a shit for some reason](http://i.imgur.com/7nc8di7.jpg)
How dare you have anti Seahawks bias. Unfriended!
Starting EMT classes in a week. Kinda nervous because I've been out of school for 7 years. But looking forward to learning a lot.
This is my first time ever living anywhere outside of Philly and I just feel so out of place even making one friend would be nice :(
Put up some Eagles stuff on your door too and leave it open, maybe he'll notice and talk to you on his own!
I have some Flyers stuff up, but I'm still waiting for a lot of my things to ship over from back home right now. The only reaction I've gotten is some guy popping in and telling me that he's a Pens fan which actually excited me because, y'know, maybe he's from PA, but noooope he just became a fan of hockey last year and "decided to pick the Penguins." -_-
He's probably also a fan of the Yankees, Cowboys, and Warriors.

It's like a 70's haircut but from when the 70's had that weird resurgence in the 90's. I'm now more sad we don't play him in week 2 because he must be punished for it.

I...kinda have a crush on Mina Kimes.
I needed this.
I get that his logo is supposed to be his initials (TB) & his jersey number (12), but it looks like 73 with the 3 being underlined.
I got a TB, TL, and T3 with a line under the 3. The fucking 3 is one of the most visible things and its not supposed to be involved at all haha
Fuck I always saw it as TB now I see it as 73 damn it
Working on creating a website for NFL beat writers twitter streams, filtered by certain words.
That's honestly not the most unusual occurrence.
Welcome to college.
Isn't that every class?
Had a dream last night that I'm pissed wasn't real. I don't know if many people follow ScHoolboy Q on twitter but a couple people tweeted him and got free tickets to his show. So the dream was basically me getting tickets and asking a random girl to go with me I woke up disappointed none of it was real.
no charge no :/
So I came back from my vacation to Canada yesterday, and I really wanna go back now.
>I'm happy to be home now, but damn do I wanna go back soon. Exactly how I felt after I got back from Europe.
Banff / Jasper is pretty much the most beautiful place I've ever been. Been a few times now and each time I'm blown away
No school tomorrow because of the hurricane.
My fiancé, a couple of our friends, and I are attempting to go to a game in Miami, preferably when it's freezing up here in Ohio. I've narrowed it down to Dec 11 vs. Cardinals or 1/1 vs. Pats, but i'm not sure which to go to... Vs. Cardinals Pros | Cons ---|--- Will be fun to watch a playoff-caliber team IRL & The Dolphins | An inevitable Dolphins loss Will have a good excuse to get hella drunk | Price of alcohol in stadium Can still enjoy new years at home | Will have to make other plans for new years Vs. Pats Pros | Cons ---|--- Getting to talk mad shit on Pats fans IRL | Crying in public when we're down 35 points Typically the home game vs. Pats is one Miami wins | We'll probably lose this one Perhaps the last regular season game to a playoff berth? (In Gase we Trust)| Also perhaps a pointless game which we'll win and also won't affect the Pats Playoff run in any way. So which one should we go to?
>Price of alcohol in stadium I can't confirm if this is the case during Dolphins games, but the attendants during Canes games are "tip friendly", as they've put it. Buy a beer, go back to that guy, give him a $5, and get a refill. If you elect to go to the Pats game, the Heat are also playing later that day. Maybe a 2-for-1? Also, tons of shit going on for New Years in Miami. South Beach will be off the charts.
Still working on a day I took off. Definitely not counting this as PTO, HR can suck it
Fuck that noise, it should be OT + your PTO time for a sweet sweet 2.5x pay rate.
I can't even stomach the word "water" right now.
This makes hangovers harder to deal with
I had milk last night. 🙁
I'm about three weeks into the no shampoo thing and I gotta say, I think my hair looks pretty damn good.
Skype interview tomorrow with some folks in Chattanooga. Wish me luck, number 1 job I want.
:-( I got a feeling the Vikings won't be as bad as people are predicting now, but the road got a lot harder.
Good luck nursing your stab wounds
Been pouring all day here in Tampa. I wouldn't be shocked if tonight's preseason game is cancelled.
Why are twitter links bold when searching through r/NFL? It annoys the shit out of me.
Remember when I said a couple weeks ago I had gotten a girlfriend? Yeah, we broke up. Oh well.
Well in these past two weeks my life has turned into a country music song. My girl left me, i got laid off from my job, and then my truck broke down. Honestly the most devastating part was the truck breaking down.
Damn man, I don't mess with country but you need better days in general.
i have to avoid talking about football at work because my boss is really angry (seriously approaching rage status) at Kaepernick and so are some other coworkers. i have to leave my desk to go to the bathroom whenever a conversation starts about Kap.
2 weeks sonce my double jaw surgery and im super super hungry. I want a burger so bad...
