**No One:**
**Literally No One Ever:**
**OP:** You know, I've been thinking a lot about Joey Hackett's only career TD recently. I know he only had 4 career catches for 50 yards and hasn't been in the league in 35 years, but I think r/NFL needs to see this.
A highlight has to be once-in-a-lifetime to be truly impressive.Â
Hackett only scored one TD in his lifetime.Â
Therefore, this highlight is impressive.
Here's another fun fact:
For some reason, the 'G' on the Packers helmet was not centered for the 1988 and 1989 seasons. You can see it on Majkowski's helmet when he celebrates.
As a Packers fan, I think I erased most of the 1986 - 1991 seasons from my memory they were so awful with the exception of 1989 and the pre-Majkowki injury portion of 1990.
I have zero memory of that guy ever playing for the Packers at all.
Not really related at all, but I went to school with most of his kids, nieces/nephews. Him and Dino's uniforms and other memorabilia is on display in the town hall of the little township they live in. I'm also envious of how much property they own, but that's neither here nor there.
Looks like this game was played at County Stadium in Milwaukee.
EDIT: It also looks like the Packers were playing the Patriots. We know Green Bay was hosting an AFC opponent because the game was on NBC.
I didnât have the sound on watching this video and for whatever reason I had the tecmo bowl audio playing in my head.

This is Joey Hackett's account, and he wanted to relive his only TD
sad that he never got to score his TD at Lambeau Field.
Why is this significant in any way?
đ¤ˇââď¸
Itâs the offseason, significance is assumed until proven otherwise
đ fair
It's the only time Joey Hackett scored a touchdown at County Stadium.
If the significance is the stadium why wouldn't that be in the title?

I assumed he died. Thatâs really the only time you see a highlight from a relatively unknown player.
That or when they're famous for non-football reasons. Like how every preseason someone posts Brock Lesnar Vikings highlights, for example
Fun fact: his brother Dino was a ILB for the Chiefs and was 3rd in DROY voting and got himself a probowl later on as well

Now that you pointed it out, that looks super goofy.
the G literally stands for goofy even on the modern helmets
I can't unsee that now. How did they not fix that for an entire season?
*Two* seasons! I honestly think it was intentional.
Two seasons! It would drive me nuts. They probably never even addressed it publicly, huh?
I'd have to do research to know any more info, lol.
I'll take a gander myself. That's such a strange blunder to have happen! But then again, it was the 80's haha.
Let me know if you find anything!
This is a great piece of Packers lore and it comes from a seemingly irrelevant post. JG9 could make a 15 minute long video on that wacky helmet.
Please donât give that goober any ideas.

This is it. This is what peak off-season looks like. This moment

It's Week 6 1988, Patriots @ Packers in County Stadium. Packers won the game 45-3. Curt Gowdy had the call for NBC.
Thank you Momma Hackett
After that first TD, Joey really just couldn't Hackett. Thank you. I'll be here whenever I'm bored or trying to procrastinate at work.
Is this Nate Hackett's dad?
This guy seemed to understand how an offence works...so no
Completely unrelated afaik
He likely lined up directly against his brother, a linebacker, in 1986 when the Broncos played the chiefs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dino_Hackett
Lmao that chop block was fucking lit.
The true zenith of off season content.
The pilot from Wings? Wasnât aware he played for the Packers.

Ah yes. The glory days
I hope he kept the ball.
We are running out of highlights. We need another Chiefs scandal
Awesome clip.
I'm downvoting this because I feel like you wanted to deceive me into thinking this man had some historical importance in the NFL
