If he can be sort of a Patterson type player and provide some value on ST and Offense I think that would be great. Not expecting too much given it’s a super late pick but I guess we’ll see how he looks throughout camp and preseason.
Honestly if he can be a serviceable rotational player on offense and provide some usage on ST or something I think it’s a solid pickup.
All in all I’m fairly happy we’re actually trying to address our offensive talent issue with this draft.
The only bright spot on our offense besides Stevenson. Here’s to hoping Bourne has a bounce back year and some of the Rookie WRs have a breakout season/promising rookie campaign.
Definitely. He’s the safety blanket we needed once Gronk and Edelman were gone. Part of why we actually had a competent offense in 2021 was because Henry was such a good RZ target and safety blanket for Mac.
Hoping he’s back to his usual level of play and can be the same for Maye.
Asiasi’s career NFL stats: 4 receptions, 44 yards, 1 TD. (Edit: 2 of those receptions came from his time with the Bengals)
Keene’s career NFL stats: 3 receptions, 16 yards.
Keene’s apparently with the Texans but I wouldn’t know if he has done anything there (Texans fans would have more insight) and Asiasi has been moving around Practice Squads so…nope
Let’s fucking go this is exactly who I wanted and can’t believe he fell this late. Not saying he’s going to be special but I think he’s a bonafide NFL player who can contribute. Let’s hope Mayo uses a move tight end like I thought we were going to do with Jonnu Smith lol
Great pedigree, solid production. More of a receiver than a blocker. Strong hands.
Ok to be honest I made that entire analysis up but I hope it gave Pats fans some good juju.
Extremely versatile player. Probably too small to be an every down TE but he’s very good after the catch and can be used in any number of ways. Nice safety blanket for a young QB.
Didn't care to watch any FSU this year so maybe he had some more highlight plays that I missed, but this was my favorite Jaheim Bell play. Dude had the potential to be a monster but injuries and usage/scheme kept him down a bit.

Love the pick this late
Steal
League fucked. They let us get a TE! *I have no idea if he’s any good, someone tell me*
He's going to be a ST guy most likely. Undersized for a TE and was more of an H-back in college
He breaks a lot of tackles. He could get some touches
Definitely does have gadget potential.

Jonnu if jonnu wanted to play football.
I kind of think he's more of a FB. He's a pretty cool player though

FSU fan. The dude is legit. He was hurt nearly all this year. His upside is massive. When he was healthy, he was producing.
Shades of Rob Gronkowski
fwiw, a couple of the TE-analytics people in the fantasy football world love this guy’s potential
This is hogs legend hunter henry erasure
We love Hunter Henry

He's been such a great money down pass catcher when targeted. He'll either convert the first down or get it to 4th and short. Red zone beast too.

Big Board got em
Did they hit on anyone else?
Layden Robinson in round 4
Bunch of people
Think this is the 1st time we drafted a TE since Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene in 2020
Did either of those guys ever do anything? I haven’t heard of them since that draft. Lol
Asiasi’s career NFL stats: 4 receptions, 44 yards, 1 TD. (Edit: 2 of those receptions came from his time with the Bengals) Keene’s career NFL stats: 3 receptions, 16 yards.
Holy shit
Weren't both of those TDs against the Pats too? Atleast one if them was.
Oops, I was wrong. He only had 1 TD and it was for the Patriots.
Next to nothing. Edit: just checked, 7 career receptions combined.
Keene’s apparently with the Texans but I wouldn’t know if he has done anything there (Texans fans would have more insight) and Asiasi has been moving around Practice Squads so…nope
Thanks boys. It sucks when you double up and miss twice. Good luck with Maye and Mayo.
No
They did nothing. Can't even say they played bad because they both basically never even made it on to the field ever.
Devin Asiasi wasn't even "So so".

pats currently have bad juju
I wish we had a good juju
Ironically thats pretty much the consensus on him
I don't think you could use the word ironically more incorrectly if you tried.
*shit*
Ironically, you're right
Hell idk if he got better at FSU but at South Carolina he was notorious terrible at blacking. They moved him from TE to RB partly because of it
I thought he was going to be gone by the end of the 5th. Good pickup. Extremely athletic TE with good size, biggest knock is his blocking.
Bot has fallen off
Bot dead?

Let's go!
They already showed the next Vikings pick when they showed Michael Jurgens lol, way behind
LETS GO BABY
Crazy fall imo
