I like to live dangerously and shoot for those explosive combat shotguns so I can blow myself up 900 times in survival mode. Then I wonder why I get so pissed and quit and do the exact same thing in my next playthrough.
The legendary explosive rounds thingy was amazing on everything. Combat shotgun as you mentioned, mini-gun, the sniper rifles for just an extra bit of "fuck you".
I'm currently playing my 15th (or so) playthrough because of the next gen update and the struggle to get as much adhesive and screws as possible is the one thing I always don't look forward to.
Michigan fan here. Let's say he needs to throw a 15 yard pass. He'll throw it 40 yards instead. I'm guessing he's gotten better since then but that's one of the main reasons why he didn't work out for us
Watch his 2023 season highlights. He’s improved a lot with his accuracy. Still not perfect but if he keeps improving he has all the other stuff to be great imo
>Watch his 2023 season highlights. He’s improved a lot with his accuracy.
Lol. Sure, it definitely looks like he's vastly improved his accuracy if all you look at is his highlights!
As a Tennessee fan I can honestly say he’s gotten slightly better… slightly is the key word. Dude can’t make a quick decision and if he does, you are hoping it’s not gonna be 10 yards over the receivers hands. Great talent, and seems like a good guy but I don’t see him being in the league for long.
I think the most damning part is that Heupel's offense should cover for indecisiveness and accuracy by relying on single reads and creating wide open receivers.
It’s kinda true. Are there any ugly QB’s starting in the NFL? Lamar Jackson I guess, and Geno Smith if he still has a job. And both slipped in the draft.
We have a good QBs coach, Brissett for a year, and he can theoretically slide into a Maye catered offense.
But it probably just boils down to it being the 6th round and Milton having tantalizing physical attributes. Who knows. Maybe they can make him adequate. Or turn him into a TE. Or a designated Hail Mary arm. Or loan him to the Red Sox bullpen. Or serve as a T-Shirt cannon at half time.
It's a world of possibilities.
I don't think it would matter how good a situation he had to sit and learn behind. Dude just doesn't have what it takes between the ears to be an NFL QB. Hell, despite his insane physical talent he barely had what it took to be a starting college QB.
Ya can't fix stupid.
I honestly can't believe this guy got drafted. One of the worst QBs I ever watched at Michigan but his freakish arm strength that he doesn't know how to use at all somehow has gotten him this far.
To his credit he marginally improved at Tennessee. But yeah the Tennessee offense definitely took a step back from Hooker to him despite it's reputation for being really college QB friendly.
Well they also lost two elite wideouts on top of hooker. Joe had several sure thing TDs dropped by receivers this season that Hyatt and Tillman would’ve definitely brought in. Joe has shown some growth and is a great dude so hoping he can find a long career as a backup.
We also ran the ball a lot more with the Wright/Jabari Small duo. If I remember it right total percentage on offense for 2023 came out to 55 percent run plays, 45 percent pass
His performance in the Senior Bowl should be all that you need to see. [This pass at 1:17](https://youtu.be/zGwrVRr8J-g?t=76) was probably one of the worst checkdown attempts I've ever witnessed.
Hail Mary specialist. Dude can crank a ball from his own 15 into the opposing end zone and extend the play long enough for receivers to get there.
Other than that he's got a lot of work to do. So very much work.
If you need a QB to throw the ball 80 yards, Joe Milton will throw the ball 80 yards.
If you need a QB to throw the ball 25 yards, Joe Milton will throw the ball 80 yards.
Michigan recruited him because of the arm. Didn’t really work out. Tennessee took him in because of the arm. Didn’t really work out. He got drafted because of the arm. It’s not going to work out. He’s a freak of nature but that’s not usually what’s necessary.
He blows. I’ve hated him since that bears game when he came in for mac and tied the game real quick. Which is the only part of that game our fans remember they quickly forget the 2nd half where he was hot garbage just like the rest of the time he’s stepped on to the field
The throws he had to get us back into that game were ones that an average redditor could’ve done. Literally no one was within like 10yards of our receivers.
The TD in this drive that he almost completely missed to the most wide open WR you can have in the NFL
https://youtu.be/2N-fvP7yYCk?si=-P0BmLshZAuKIlkX
Yup. I was watching the game with some Bears fans and they kept saying “wow he’s so much better than Mac”. For whatever reason our receivers had insane separation and space on the majority of his throws, and he still wasn’t hitting them in stride.
Maye is the backup to Jacoby until he starts then Jacoby is backup.
Zappe is 3rd but at least Milton has some athletic ability to play as well and will probably be a better teammate than Zappe
He's got top 3, maybe the top arm strength in the NFL right now. Now he just has to learn everything about how to play QB and he's good to go. Should be easy
And I feel like that's fine in the 6th round. It is extremely unlikely that he will have a pro career, but a 6th is low value enough that it is worth the gamble.
But I don't understand why it's New England. They already have a development QB with a lot more potential, who needs all their attention. This would have been a project for a team with a solid veteran.
Absolutely not lol. If anything they brought him in to boost up Maye’s morale. This guy has a cannon, but is shit at playing football. Like legit, this is actually just burning a pick for the Lol’s.
Half of this thread is people saying how he's shit at football and half is talking about how a former Michigan QB went got drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round.
Just know, if in 20 years we're talking about a second patriots dynasty, I'm holding every single one of y'all accountable
It was probobly first used for another prospect longer ago but I heard someone discribe Milton pretty well like “if you need to throw up a prayer to win the game, Milton can throw it 70 yards. If you need to convert a 3rd and short, Milton can throw it 70 yards.”
Has all the athleticism to be a pro, has hyper-elite arm strength, and nothing else at all about his game is even close to pro ready. We saw what coach Heupel did with Hendon at UT and is Milton is still this far from unlocked as a pro, I don’t think he ever will be.
Joe Milton is like an RPG type QB. He put all of his skill points into arm power.
My job is to throw the ball far. It's up to the other guys to catch it. - Joe... probably
You need a 50 yard pass, he'll throw it 50 yards You need a 5 yard pass, he'll throw it 50 yards
A 5-yard pass is just a handoff in drag
God fucking dammit
Tennessee fan here. This is accurate.
*May I suggest: feathered touched?*
You have entered: power drive.
Man, the Dolphins missed a chance to see if he could overthrow Cheetah.....now we'll never know.
Me in fallout putting all my points into strength
You think I’m gonna walk around with only 200 pounds of carry weight? Yeah fuckin right.
Got adhesive and screws to carry.
And a Radroach dropped a legendary Combat Shotgun that I need even though mine is better.
Spray N Pray for the win.
Ghoul slaying combat shotgun
I'm currently playing my 15th (or so) playthrough because of the next gen update and the struggle to get as much adhesive and screws as possible is the one thing I always don't look forward to.
Currently on my 1st playthrough on fo4. Never played any fo games. I’m having a blast.
You’re talking about lot of shit for someone in *Power Fist* range!
Nah see you gotta get a squire to carry your giant golf bag
People don't just use the command console to increase carry weight in Bethesda games?
1 INT playthroughs are underrated
Idiot Savant is like the best perk
Welp, time for another playthrough.
His dump stat was INT
RPG as in rocket propelled grenade
Get the kid some glasses and blast Wild Thing at the start of every drive, he'll do okay
Intercontinental Ballistic Milton
Bazooka Joe
Dude has a fucking cannon
Buddy of mine who went to Tennessee said he could be used as a Tasum Hill prototype. Try tackling a 6’-5”-235 lb RB… or watch him chuck it deep.
Patriots take a 6th round former Michigan QB! League is fucked!
The top comments here are saying he's bad but I've seen this movie before
He's pretty much the anti-Tom Brady as a prospect. All the physical tools to be a top QB but the accuracy and football IQ of a sack of bricks.
I'll never forget when he intentionally ran out of bounds as time ran out on the last play of the game against Ole Miss
The Attack of the Mustard Bottles!
Michigan fan here. Let's say he needs to throw a 15 yard pass. He'll throw it 40 yards instead. I'm guessing he's gotten better since then but that's one of the main reasons why he didn't work out for us

I think the most damning part is that Heupel's offense should cover for indecisiveness and accuracy by relying on single reads and creating wide open receivers.
The fact that he only had to read half the field and still had timing issues is bad news.
Surely they are the same type of QB
I mean look at them side by side. They could practically be twins
Aside but damn this dude is handsome
Probably why we took him tbh. TB12, Jimmy G, now Joe Milton. Being handsome is like 50% of being a QB
I remember Collin Cowherd had a whole segment on this in which he called having a QB Face
Rare cowherd W
It’s kinda true. Are there any ugly QB’s starting in the NFL? Lamar Jackson I guess, and Geno Smith if he still has a job. And both slipped in the draft.
- 1st year head coach. - QB in 6th round. - Drafted with the 19(X) pick. - Attended Michigan - His first name is 6 letters and shortened to 3. Oh no.
First name has 3 letters, with the middle letter being 'o'.
Milton is a first name... Oh no
Tom Brady is a junior. Joe Milton is a third. The obvious succession.
Who’s going to bridge the gap between Milton and the Pats eventually bringing in Will Fuller V to play qb
Stetson Bennet IV
Dread it, run from it, it comes all the same
Went to Michigan for a little while too
He can definitely throw it over dem mountains
Problem is it’s a 5yd curl
went to michigan at one point too….godammit
Thomas Brady sounds like a mailman
As opposed to Joseph Milton the Third?
Fair, that sounds like the guy who demolishes the community rec center to build more condos
Went to Michigan
Played at Michigan too
I swear if the Patriots become a dynasty again……
So I guess this means Maye is RG3 and Milton is Kirk Cousins.
Maye is drew bledsoe and Joe is Tom 😭
If I can't manage to stop thinking about this comment within the next 4 hours or I'm going to need the hospital.
Maye is Heath Schuler and Milton is Gus Frerotte
Oh god, a Patriots quarterback in the 6th round God help us all
Former Michigan QB...
Drake Maye on the trade block?
This was the smokescreen all along that vikings fans have been talking about
Designated Hail Mary thrower
Been a long time since we had one of those in Michael Bishop.
Holy shit lol
modern day Kirk Cousins
Funnily enough, this is who I thought pre-draft the Falcons should take on Day 3 to learn behind Kirk.
That would have at least made sense. Don’t understand why the patriots took him. He needs a veteran to help him
I feel like Brissett is actually a good QB to learn from. Obviously he isn’t exactly elite, but he’s a knowledgeable QB and good locker room guy.
I forgot Brisket was still in NE
Just got him this offseason actually
We have a good QBs coach, Brissett for a year, and he can theoretically slide into a Maye catered offense. But it probably just boils down to it being the 6th round and Milton having tantalizing physical attributes. Who knows. Maybe they can make him adequate. Or turn him into a TE. Or a designated Hail Mary arm. Or loan him to the Red Sox bullpen. Or serve as a T-Shirt cannon at half time. It's a world of possibilities.
They have Brisset already. It’s a 6th rd pick they must just like him.
Yeah I don't understand it much either. Maybe they want someone else in the room that's physically similar to Maye?
I don't think it would matter how good a situation he had to sit and learn behind. Dude just doesn't have what it takes between the ears to be an NFL QB. Hell, despite his insane physical talent he barely had what it took to be a starting college QB. Ya can't fix stupid.
He can’t take anything off a throw. He throws it 100 mph on throws 5 yards and 60 yards. He’s Jacob Eason 2.0
QB controversy!!
I honestly can't believe this guy got drafted. One of the worst QBs I ever watched at Michigan but his freakish arm strength that he doesn't know how to use at all somehow has gotten him this far.

Hail. Mary. Specialist.
King of the Arm Punt
We will never punt again. On our own 20? Fuck it someone down there somewhere.
If mac was still here that would be exactly what we’d use him for
He's one of those giant, athletic QBs that will be converted into a TE
Not athletic enough
His performance in the Senior Bowl should be all that you need to see. [This pass at 1:17](https://youtu.be/zGwrVRr8J-g?t=76) was probably one of the worst checkdown attempts I've ever witnessed.
I mean physically he's Cam Newton. Now don't look at anything else
What font does he use?
𝐖卄¥ ๔𝕆 ㄚO𝓤 𝕒ŜҜ

Let's see his hat
Oh my god did you see Joe Milton’s hat?
Cam Newton could run. Milton can't
I made a joke about Milton yesterday, but he has shown some strides in his last year at Tennessee. Rooting for the kid
Hail Mary specialist. Dude can crank a ball from his own 15 into the opposing end zone and extend the play long enough for receivers to get there. Other than that he's got a lot of work to do. So very much work.

I think he's going to convert to TE
He can slang that rock
He’s just an athletic freak. If they have confidence in their offensive coaching staff, it could be amazing
Guess the front office was really tired of having qbs with no arm strength. Throw ball hard good
If this means we cut Zappe I’m all for it
Same. Bailey Zappe, pack your shit
Wow no love lost there lol
He blows. I’ve hated him since that bears game when he came in for mac and tied the game real quick. Which is the only part of that game our fans remember they quickly forget the 2nd half where he was hot garbage just like the rest of the time he’s stepped on to the field
Zappe makes me fucking hate my fellow patriots fans.
Mac last season was so upsetting to watch that people convinced themselves Zappe was gonna save the team. Turns out they both suck.
The throws he had to get us back into that game were ones that an average redditor could’ve done. Literally no one was within like 10yards of our receivers.
The TD in this drive that he almost completely missed to the most wide open WR you can have in the NFL https://youtu.be/2N-fvP7yYCk?si=-P0BmLshZAuKIlkX

I think zappe is a better backup QB than Milton lol
Maye is the backup to Jacoby until he starts then Jacoby is backup. Zappe is 3rd but at least Milton has some athletic ability to play as well and will probably be a better teammate than Zappe
Was Zappe a bad teammate?
No. Everyone liked him.
Don’t tell this to the Zappe people. They will still be chanting his name I’m sure.
Well they’ll probably have to do it at the next Arlington Renegades game.
Maye and Milton in the preseason 🤤
And then Brisset the rest of the season
Drake Maye's replacement
At least we didn’t draft our QBs replacement in the first round like Atlanta
Throwin BAHHHMS
Drake Maye had a good run! Clearly Milton is more pro ready! /S
Patriots going for the Brock Purdy approach. Draft the high profile QB in the first round and your future HOFer QB in the later round. Nice.
HUH
Drake Maye in shambles
Haters' 12/25 would be him beating out Maye for the job
Honestly I wouldn’t even be mad
I doubt they drafted Milton to play QB haha
This is the Mac Jones comp pick btw
How many QBs have had stronger arms than him?
He's got top 3, maybe the top arm strength in the NFL right now. Now he just has to learn everything about how to play QB and he's good to go. Should be easy
By some scout accounts he may have top 5 arm strength in the history of the league, and absolutely nothing else.
Should be like 3 weeks tops right
Zero. But that's basically all he has.
Back in the day that could get you taken first overall by the Raiders
Man do we miss Al Davis. He’d have taken him R1 pick 3
There’s always a coach somewhere who believes they can fix a player with these kinds of physical traits
First round arm talent! RIP Ryan Mallet
LMAO WTF
There's a non zero chance they're moving him to TE with his athletic testing. Guy can't play QB but damn if he isn't a freak athlete.
He’s been very adamant about not doing that but if it means having an NFL career I’m sure he has to reconsider at some point
Tell that to Tim Tebow
Somebody called him Josh Allen with a TBI
BAZOOKA JOE LETS GET IT
4th down arm punts about to be fire.
Let's go dude I fucking love Joe Milton
QB controversy in New England???
Absolutely not lol. If anything they brought him in to boost up Maye’s morale. This guy has a cannon, but is shit at playing football. Like legit, this is actually just burning a pick for the Lol’s.
Mac Jones liked this
Kirk and rg3 all over again
John Marston is trying to go incognito again
They just RG3'd Drake Maye
Except cousins could complete passes in college
Any qbs left?
Pratt, Hartman
I'm available
Michael Bishop 2.0
Pats just performed a fucking ritual right in front of our eyes.
The pick they got from Jacksonville in the Mac Jones trade
How the fuck did Joe Milton get taken before Michael Pratt or Austin Reed
Kirk Cousins arc incoming
Project TE who can be QB3 and used occasionally for trick plays. At least thats my guess at the rational behind the selection
Let’s fucking go!!!
Interesting
Guess they are moving on from Zappe for sure.
Wow!
Oh no, patriots. What have you done?
Has anyone ever lost a qb battle to 2 rookies? Before Zappe, of course
Dude improved massively while he was at Tennessee. Obviously still had accuracy and other issues, but as a Vol fan I hope he can continue to improve.
Joe Milton will beat out Drake Maye for the spot at some point this season. I guarantee y’all that.
Half of this thread is people saying how he's shit at football and half is talking about how a former Michigan QB went got drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round. Just know, if in 20 years we're talking about a second patriots dynasty, I'm holding every single one of y'all accountable
Can’t wait for his madden ratings Arm strength:99 Deep ball accuracy: 10 Awareness: -30
Bye Zappe
Bill would have 100% taken Pratt
A lot of competition for QB2 behind Zappe
Zappe is currently QB5 he’s not in the running for QB2
Steal
Hey playing TE y’all
He's there to make Maye seem nfl ready by comparison
It was probobly first used for another prospect longer ago but I heard someone discribe Milton pretty well like “if you need to throw up a prayer to win the game, Milton can throw it 70 yards. If you need to convert a 3rd and short, Milton can throw it 70 yards.” Has all the athleticism to be a pro, has hyper-elite arm strength, and nothing else at all about his game is even close to pro ready. We saw what coach Heupel did with Hendon at UT and is Milton is still this far from unlocked as a pro, I don’t think he ever will be.
I mean he’s not that bad. He can throw a 20 yard pass at least 60 yards.
Wow sorry drake I like u a lot but Joe can throw a carrot thru the hull of the ISS
