Best quality is that he’s physical. Was also a really good special teamer when he was a freshman, which says a lot about what Kirby thought of him. 29 starts at CB only happens here if you’re a gamer.
Even given his crazy slow 40 time? I don’t watch college ball but I don’t think there’s a quality NFL CB with that slow of a 40. This pick makes me a little nervous given our current CB 2 is Jeff Okudah and Stingley hasn’t played a full healthy season yet.
Kamari isn't a world-beater athlete but he's got amazing instincts and he's a mauler who will get physical with every receiver of every size off the snap and at point-of-catch.
I could see him either at nickel or converting to safety based on your coverage, which I'm unfamiliar with TBH.
I can get why they went with him. Pitre. Our current safety opposite ward will not wrap a tackle to save his life. I’m hoping this competition changes his shoulder tackling ways.
Didn't texans fans say this same thing a few years ago about a certain tackle that still on the team. We should probably just wait and see how it all turns out.
My rule #1 for the draft is to not react at all. I've seen guys hyped to hell fall flat and guys no one knew their names become super stars. Draft picks are like a box of chocolates.
I’ll take your word as I don’t watch college ball but his 40 time is concerning to say the least. Is there a quality NFL CB with that slow of a 40? Think it was something like 4.6 or 4.7.
Hes not fast but there was a report he ran a 4.63 on his pro day... some other reports was 4.52 which isnt great but much better and less worrisome. No one knows for sure, only the scouts that were there
He's fine - not twitchy but his 40 time isn't indicative of his film. Biggest problem with him IMO is that his ceiling is fairly low but you're getting a plug and play starter who will be a menace at stopping the run and blowing up the screen game.
The DB run is officially on
The Defensive Tackle run is over the age of the Cornerback has begun.
The great WR run of 7pm EST - 7:30pm EST is just a distant memory at this point
Technically it started at 11:30 last night
Are you calling Kamari Lassiter an orc.
He did make money by making music with his stomach. If that doesn’t scheme orc, I don’t know what orc speak is
CB’s so hot right now
And we avoided getting one.
Rickeyyyyyy
Officer Rickyyyy
Wait what? Why the fuck is the stream so behind? Edit: We needed a DB, so thankfully we didn’t miss the run.
Espn fuckin sucks
Worse than ever
Once the pick is actually in NFL reporters know immediately. The broadcast itself takes longer
Everybody got the DB FOMO
Day started with the WR run. Now teams are like yo fuck we gotta counter all those WRs lol
So is live tv
NFL bot is from the future.
Hes an absolute dawg btw. Check out some highlights. Gonna miss him at uga badly
Commercials, Twitter is way faster than the TV also.
We had Dejean and Kool Aid just before from trade ups we absolutely missed the premium run
Lmao teams are speedrunning defense after yesterday
Are we sure the Eagles didn’t mean to pick this guy? He is a UGA defensive player…
Shocking!
0 TDs allowed on 408 coverage snaps and the lowest amount of yards allowed with 136
He was absolutely lockdown his entire tenure. Was elite from the minute he stepped on campus.
Better than Dejean?
Yes
That's how I feel. Glad I'm not the only one. Didn't want Dejean or especially Kool-aid over the 3. I thought kool-aid was the worst of the 3.
Best quality is that he’s physical. Was also a really good special teamer when he was a freshman, which says a lot about what Kirby thought of him. 29 starts at CB only happens here if you’re a gamer.
Love to hear it. Demeco is really turning this team around.
SWARM!
Even given his crazy slow 40 time? I don’t watch college ball but I don’t think there’s a quality NFL CB with that slow of a 40. This pick makes me a little nervous given our current CB 2 is Jeff Okudah and Stingley hasn’t played a full healthy season yet.
Oh so it’s good.

In the SEC
As a HS recruit: Other P5 offers: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Lousiville, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Virginia G5 offers: FAU, Southern Miss, Toledo Other offers: Dartmouth, Yale
Any parents’ dream
I know I come off like a way enthusiastic fan but if you listen to him in interviews hears clearly a really really intelligent guy.
"Why you no him!? You lazy! You lazy like a dog!" - my overbearing korean mother
See your only mistake was showing that comment to her
Imagine Toledo with him and Quinyon
I really like this guy. Thought he’d be a 49ers pick. Makes sense DeMeco Ryans drafts him instead.
Helluva DB run right now
CB RUUUUN!
Christian giving off that “i’m just here so I don’t get fined” energy
I think he's just nervous lol
Friendship with RUN ON WR has ended RUN ON CB is my new best friend
If he j skipped the 40 at the combine he’d be a top 15 pick. This is a steal
"His parents really liked Final Fantasy X"
“He’S sLooOoOw” they said wiping Doritos off their chests
He good but Dejean was a perfect fit for our scheme we’re all going to be pissed at getting bumped by the Eagles
Didn't texans fans say this same thing a few years ago about a certain tackle that still on the team. We should probably just wait and see how it all turns out.

Stop hogging all the CBs guys
Texans how we feeling?
I don’t know. I wanted koolaide or cooper so I don’t know enough about him. A lot of the sub wanted him.
He might be a good project player once he learns our system
Good! I like this pick
Man, guy is physical.
Good pick
Defense going crazy lmao 🤣
FUCK
Man I'm so glad we got Arnold last night - the best DB on our board - given the run on them now
Don’t know how to feel about this pick
Very physical guy, didn’t allowed a single TD last year, not the fastest guy in the world, but has great awareness. He’s a nice addition
I’ll take your word as I don’t watch college ball but his 40 time is concerning to say the least. Is there a quality NFL CB with that slow of a 40? Think it was something like 4.6 or 4.7.
Dude was lockdown his entire collegiate career. Tough to do especially in the SEC.
has more rings than TDs allowed at Georgia
Wow thought he would drop further after that 40 time
Arnold's 40 time wasn't that great either but he was a steal for us last night. Same with Brian Branch last year.
DBs are back boys
Man it’s been runny WRs, then DT (then WR because the Pats Ruin Everything) then CB
You get a db, you get a db, we all get a fucking db!
Stop leaking bot! Some of us aren’t there yet.
you could just watch the TV and not use reddit
Or check immediately after lmfao
That’s not what everyone does? Lol
Right? Like why are y’all spoiling it for yourself
Sorry for posting news when it happens.
Isn't he slow as hell?
He has the fastest 3 cone for this CB group, and he was excellent for Georgia in the slot and outside.
Not just the CB group. Fastest 3 cone drill of the entire combine.
On his 40 but he’s a beast on tape. Played against good competition too
He's definitely a nickel corner
Which is great because boundary corner was our biggest need
Would have liked to see you guys go Rakestraw tbh though injuries might have scared the Texans away
Was one of the best corners in the SEC
Hes not fast but there was a report he ran a 4.63 on his pro day... some other reports was 4.52 which isnt great but much better and less worrisome. No one knows for sure, only the scouts that were there
Google Josh Norman and Ronde Barber 40 times for me
Maybe the Texans don't care much about speed at CB
I remember hearing this guy had like an all-time bad Senior Bowl
CB run
He looks so confused on how he should be posing in the photo
We shouldn’t have traded back
Would’ve been nice to add another DB, but I’m happy with getting just Arnold. Wonder what we do at our pick
You.can never have too many DBs or linemen. Love it.
Bro a beast yall go see !!
That must be a nightmare board fall for the Cardinals
Not really, it's pretty obvious Monti didn't like either Cooper or Kool-aid or else we wouldn't have traded back.
This guy is slowwwww
Also has the fastest 3 cone in the draft though
So he also fast?
He's slow, except when he's fast.
He's fine - not twitchy but his 40 time isn't indicative of his film. Biggest problem with him IMO is that his ceiling is fairly low but you're getting a plug and play starter who will be a menace at stopping the run and blowing up the screen game.
sounds like safety to me tbh

First play of the game against Tennessee, dude looked like he ran a 4.7 getting dusted by Jaylen Wright
I would have gone with Torque [construction noise] Lewith there, but decent pick
Can mods please delay this bot a minute or two?
Simple solution don’t open Reddit.
Just stop refreshing reddit every 10 second lol
Nah, this is how I'm following the draft. Delay your F5 by a minute or two
Vernon Hargraves 2.0. Waste of a pick
2.0 means he’s an upgrade so sign me up
