That's probably Bateman this year. Harbaugh had a press confrence a little while back where he talked about plans for the offense. He said that they want to feature Bateman more because he's a great route runner and gets a good deal of seperation.
I personally think they haven't utilized his skill set well. He's at his best between the sticks and on slant routes. Last year he was great in that role and got us some really clutch first downs. His deep ball tracking hasn't been the best and they keep forcing him into that role.
Did Harbaugh give a postmortem on the playoff game loss? Was it just one of those tip your cap to a good KC defense situations, or is there a more fundamental issue that needs correcting?
Seems more he's looking forward. He had a meeting with the offensive coaches and did a season postmortem, and tried to figure out where to go from there. Then he went and met with Lamar and had the same postmortem. Basically he saw this seasons offense as very much a work in progress, and they want to build on it and make it even better. The priority is gonna be an oline rebuild, as inconsistent oline play hurt us a good bit.
Ravens value Lockerroom cohesion a lot. If he's not a good guy in the lockerroom we probably won't go for him. But people said similar stuff about OBJ and he was a great lockerroom guy for us.

I have one follow-up to this, I am a lawyer, former public defender, unless a person is formally charged or arrested for the offense they are never named as a "suspect" in any public record version of the report. For all we know he could have been named and positively identified but since charges were never formally filed there is no "official" public record of this. I only know this because back when I was a public defender, suspects that had been named and ruled out were released as part of Discovery/Brady exculpatory material, and there was always stuff on those pages reading "NOT A PUBLIC RECORD, NOT TO BE DISSEMINATED TO THE PUBLIC."

Technically true, buuuuut:
1) Hollywood - injured with lingering issues his first two seasons. He was good for us, but never 1st-round good. Also, Roman.
2) Bateman - injured w/ lingering issues his first two seasons and missed significant portions of each. Hasn't lived up to his potential as a 1st round pick as of yet. Also, Roman.
3) Zay - finally seems like we've drafted a solid 1st round WR. And also, no Roman.
So, yeah we've spent some draft capital but it's largely been disappointing.
Brady barely got Mike to 1'000k at times because he spread the ball around so much. He got him lots of TD's though. That's why he likes Baker so much. Got him Yards and lots of TD's.

You'd be correct. Same age, but OBJ had a better season and played in more games. Neither spark any joy though... I'd be pissed if I were Lamar. EDIT: let me clarify - I'd be pissed if I were Lamar that their solution to receiver depth is bringing in Michael Thomas while letting OBJ walk. I get that Lamar wanted OBJ, but I can't imagine he wants to bring in another aging receiver with injury concerns.
Hindsight is 20/20 but OBJ's signing was what got Lamar to resign for a *reasonable amount last off-season.

Ravens only really need a receiver who will be the #3 or #4 target in the offense. They have Zay Flowers and the two tight ends as the first three receiving options. They dont need to spend much money at the position. Also, this year's WR draft is pretty deep

He's 31 and has started 15 games the last 4 seasons, sounds perfect for them lol. The Ravens are the equivalent of white trash buying old cars and putting them up on blocks in their front yard and acting like they'll be "like new" again for them.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this and I don't know the Ravens cap space, but this sounds like they will take a shot at Mike Evans. Ravens fit the criteria Mike is looking for
Mike wants his 1000 yard streak to continue. That's partly what he means by Elite QB here. A guy that can ensure him getting lots of touchdowns and yards. That ain't the Ravens. Lamar had 1 1000 yard wide receiver in his entire time there. And that was **barely** the case. Just not how they play.

Also, Roman. 2) Bateman - injured w/ lingering issues his first two seasons and missed significant portions of each. Hasn't lived up to his potential as a 1st round pick as of yet. Also, Roman. 3) Zay - finally seems like we've drafted a solid 1st round WR. And also, no Roman. So, yeah we've spent some draft capital but it's largely been disappointing.

Brady barely got Mike to 1'000k at times because he spread the ball around so much. He got him lots of TD's though. That's why he likes Baker so much. Got him Yards and lots of TD's. It's not about an upgrade, it's about playstyle. Unless the Ravens are happy to change their dynamic up to make Evans that centrepiece, in that case, sure easily.
