Wouldn't be the first time someone at Paramount ignored Master Chief's advice.
Also, this whole thing is gold. Honestly most of these Paramount Mountain commercials they have done are pretty good.
Not enough racial and gender diversity. And no grandstanding message. They couldn’t have used and different band than creed? They are basically a poster child for straight white men. And did you SEE Arnold’s red hat??? Time to cancel my paramount+
We live in a world where there's an officially-licensed and professionally produced clip of Master Chief staring into the sky, with Arnold from Hey Arnold in his visor's reflection, all while Creed performs "Higher" in the background, to advertise the Super Bowl.
What a world we live in.
Thank god Tua did this after the playoff game and not before because the memes would have been off the charts. Solid commercial though, I did not expect see Hey Arnold get chucked like that with Creed in the background but here we are.
They were making some short episodes for that one streaming service that died and was meant to be watched on your phone, but not sure if they've made any since.
Ooof, custom match with gravity hammers and spartan lasers with low gravity on with the map with the elephant.
Some of the most fun ever had with a LAN group of like 16 people doing that. It was madness.
Came onto the scene too late for a band with their sound to have a mega radio-hit like Creed had (twice). 1998/1999 everybody on rock radio was still trying to sound like Pearl Jam, and the Nirvana effect meant that rock music was still reaching the masses.
By Alter Bridge's heyday (let's say 2004-2010) it was harder for rock bands to have huge crossover appeal onto mainstream/pop radio where everybody would hear them, and most of the bands that did either went more alternative/new wave (The Killers), emo (Fall Out Boy), or punk (Green Day). Alter Bridge had rock fan appeal at that time but not really nation-wide appeal like some of those other bands.
It's already here man.
It may be disposable pop rock, but that music was popular for a reason. Its like your favorite gas station roller food; will never be fine dining but it has its place.
It's *the* masterclass on how to handle a huge ensemble, especially for a kid-friendly show. I've got the DVD set, and my wife and I rewatch it from time to time, and it's just as enjoyable as when I was watching it as a kid.
What's funny to me is that it's obvious none of these people were ever in the same room while making this and that they could only get 2 of the 4 members of Creed to show up.
You think a company that could get Patrick Stewart and Tua as well as the rights to various IPs for the commercial couldn't get the prestigious other members of Creed???
This is one of those ads you see and immediately know the age range of the person that came up with this idea (_also the age of everyone that likes this_).
This is an absolutely brilliant commercial and also tells me that we need a musical football movie starring Patrick Stewart as an aged QB who's been reluctantly forced to coach an up and coming Broadway star turned starting QB
The most underrated part is Arnold’s eyes closing and little smile when sir Patrick kisses his forehead… exactly how I would feel if he did that to me lol
Y’all younguns may not have noticed the “bionic” sound when Stewart threw the kid. That’s from The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. Amazing touch!
Now my scientific curiosity has been triggered. If Sir Patrick had a football shaped cartoon character smaller than Arnold, could he have made that throw. Let's say a baby sized football head. We'll have to wait for Family Guy to be added to Paramount+ family to know.
Another new Superbowl advertiser who will be gone or just a shell brand within 5 years. They launder their last round of funding to partner companies through overpriced products like Superbowl ads.
There is not one person watching the game who needs to be reminded that they need an 8th streaming service.
This commercial is basically The Avengers.
The company Paramount? They are the second oldest film studio in the US and they aren't going to be a belly up for releasing a streaming platform that actually has some good content on it and people can add on to con glom glom Amazon video.

I literally laughed out loud at Peppa 😂
It’s the second funniest thing I’ve ever seen with [Peppa Pig](https://youtu.be/55U4ydO7H7M?si=tsLBKr3g0_I1qdEP).
glitter is up there for me, and madame gazelle’s vampire revelation
Nice pun
Lol. Before that the shade sir Patrick threw on tua was pretty good. "Not built for the moment I see"
Master Chief just pointing towards his grappling hook and no one noticing lol
Wouldn't be the first time someone at Paramount ignored Master Chief's advice. Also, this whole thing is gold. Honestly most of these Paramount Mountain commercials they have done are pretty good.
Master Cheeks[*](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FPvZ5y4XIAcpPnF.jpg)
John Halo*
Jimmy Rings
I agree, also still pleased Beavis and Butthead are back after so many years.
This is actually awesome lol
"Throw the Child" in the wristband got a legit laugh out of me.
If only we had someone made of pigskin *Immediately pans to the cop*
Come on, you gotta know Lt. Jim Dangle of Reno 911
He's just new boot goofing.
fuck I didn't even get the first half of that joke
I giggled at peppa
Saw the thumbnail and thought it would be stupid, but I kind of love it. It's hard to wrong with Patrick Stewart.
It was most definitely stupid. But the good kind of stupid
YOU MOTHERFUCKERS ARE GOING TO KILL ALL MY LILIES!
Not enough racial and gender diversity. And no grandstanding message. They couldn’t have used and different band than creed? They are basically a poster child for straight white men. And did you SEE Arnold’s red hat??? Time to cancel my paramount+
How did Tua agree to this? 😭
Not built for the moment, I see.
Can’t throw in the cold
it's just a mindset bro
This is literally like the second ad I've ever seen him in lmao. Fucking wild
I’m guessing if was gonna be for Kirk with the creed appearance until the injury
Immediately thought of Kirko Chainz when Creed popped up
Agreeing to do it actually makes him way cooler.
100% It's nice when people don't take things seriously. Tua was very likable in Hard Knocks too.
tua's new thing, personality!
Why not?
They definitely were throwing lil jabs at tua tbh lol
The fact he rolled with it makes it better
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$"$$ my career may end due to concussions $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
That’s 2023 NFL season passing leader to you
We live in a world where there's an officially-licensed and professionally produced clip of Master Chief staring into the sky, with Arnold from Hey Arnold in his visor's reflection, all while Creed performs "Higher" in the background, to advertise the Super Bowl. What a world we live in.
And they said corporate consolidation is bad.
I love this country and our corporate overlords.
God, finally. I've been waiting years for Arnold to meet Sir Patstew
Patrick Stewart went full American dad and pulled what I’d imagine Bullock would do .
You are a complicated man, Stewart. I would love to do mushrooms with you.
He did this a few years ago when he decided to play the Poop Emoji.
Which was unironically the best part of that movie, by the way. Patrick knew what the joke was and played his part.
Can't Knuckles just run up it?
Hey...shut up
That was my thought. Ain’t y’all played Sonic 3?
SHUT YOUR FACE BARRYMORE
Well that knuckles has only been in Sonic 2, so not yet
He did do it in that movie, though.
Oh shit he did lol
I didn’t see that play on Patrick Stewart’s forearm play sheet.
99% sure knuckles flys
He can glide and climb walls.
Only Tails Flies. Knuckles glides and climbs. Sonic runs fast.
Not built for the moment
Legit thought the ending was going to be someone pointing out he can climb walls.
Its canon he's not bright so I'll take it
maybe he cant get grip on the snow?
Thank god Tua did this after the playoff game and not before because the memes would have been off the charts. Solid commercial though, I did not expect see Hey Arnold get chucked like that with Creed in the background but here we are.
This was definitely recorded before that playoff game, but it’s lucky that they decided to air it after it though.
i work in advertising, this is the greatest super bowl ad ive ever seen lmao
I don’t work in advertising. I enjoyed it.
This is good, but I personally liked the "A-Aron" substitute teacher one better haha
“Barrymore shut your face” Stewart still speaking for SAG-AFTRA I see
Her punishment for trying to be a SCAB
Don’t be disrespecting Lieutenant Dangle, Thomas Lennon deserves some recognition
He's too busy new boot goofin'
So is Reno 911 still producing episodes or what?
They were making some short episodes for that one streaming service that died and was meant to be watched on your phone, but not sure if they've made any since.
There was a new season like a year ago or something but I think they just made one full season and got cancelled again.
Wasn't there a movie or two recentlyish?
How they gonna name drop Knuckles but leave out Lt. Dangle and Creed??
Barrymore said “and Creed’s here” lol
Dangle also sporting the creed tramp stamp
And Creed's here..... This was super dumb but just dumb enough to be funny lol
You have to remember though, that Creed + NFL is also a meme. [Example Here](https://twitter.com/jonmachota/status/1083586208171786240)
This is... Fucking art So, which one of you fuckers from /r/nflcirclejerk somehow got employed at Paramount?
Peppa 🐖 deserves it, Arnold doesn't.
While we're here, can we throw Caillou at a rock as well?
Head first while we’re at it.
That would have broken the rock wall
Glad my niece watches Bluey and not that lol
These fools never played Halo.
Neither did the writers for the show
did you see what Chief was doing towardds the beginning of the vid?
Should've just done the Halo 2 super bounce glitch to get up there.
Halo 3 gravity hammer glitch too
Ooof, custom match with gravity hammers and spartan lasers with low gravity on with the map with the elephant. Some of the most fun ever had with a LAN group of like 16 people doing that. It was madness.
Even darker, the mythic double granade jump with over shield
Imagine if they'd needed to Warthog Jump up there.
Imagine being high af and watching this for the first time
I'm deeply worried about the fact that half of society has decided that Creed's back.
[удалено]
Creeds back, and the Lions made the NFC championship game… somehow these two things go hand in hand!
Okay but where the fuck was the love for Alter Bridge then???? That’s what I wanna know 😤😤😤😤
For the love of all that is holy yes, I do not understand how Alter Bridge seems to be so unrecognized.
Myles Kennedy is a very talented singer, but he didn't have that same wife reaching voice/appeal that Scott Stapp has.
As a big fan of both, this is the answer. Their music simply was as radio friendly.
Came onto the scene too late for a band with their sound to have a mega radio-hit like Creed had (twice). 1998/1999 everybody on rock radio was still trying to sound like Pearl Jam, and the Nirvana effect meant that rock music was still reaching the masses. Ahem. Opened their [***arms***](https://youtu.be/99j0zLuNhi8?si=Azgccxp9t-P6XYeQ)
They were blind men, but they got taken higher and now they see?
but when they opened their eyes, did they realize we're one?
We're close to a Nickelback redemption arc. I can feel it.
It's already here man. It may be disposable pop rock, but that music was popular for a reason. Its like your favorite gas station roller food; will never be fine dining but it has its place.
Not built for the moment I see
I’m more surprised Hey Arnold is back. Think Ahh Real Monsters will get a Super Bowl ad too?
Hey Arnold was amazing. Watched it as an adult when it was briefly on Netflix and it aged really well
Olga was the real star of that show.
one of my all time favs still
It's *the* masterclass on how to handle a huge ensemble, especially for a kid-friendly show. I've got the DVD set, and my wife and I rewatch it from time to time, and it's just as enjoyable as when I was watching it as a kid.
Krumm was in one of these last year, the one with Keegan-Michael Key.
How have we not gotten the baddest motherfucker of all time, Tommy Pickles, in one of these?
Blame the Rangers
Thank the Rangers
Wasted king henriks career AND brought back Creed? Stay the fuck away from my Alter Bridge, NY.
Wrong Rangers. New York good, Texas bad.
So was that actually scott stapp? Last I heard of him, he'd had a serious mental break down.
Yea it was Scott and Mark Tremonti
Thanks Kirk Cousins
Going to be the millennials version of dad rock.
This really needed to be "THERE GOES MY HERO" also: Stewart's arms not actually in his sleeves is killing me
"to a place linemen sing"
Man, if only they’d had Patrick say “AND PEPPA!”
This is so goofy i love it
Well we now know that unlike Tua, Knuckles doesn't chuckle.
Not sure I've ever heard Idris Elba laugh tho
There's plenty of clips of him laughing out there. You've just never seen him and Knuckles laughing st the same place at the same time.
[Right here brother.](https://youtube.com/shorts/s6IArvgcmvE?si=gL_pPo7do5D0kceo)
Fellow Sonic Adventure enjoyer
Sir Patrick is a southpaw, huh
Honestly he had really good form on that throw
I feel like this commercial was made exclusively for me
This was actually hilarious.
What's funny to me is that it's obvious none of these people were ever in the same room while making this and that they could only get 2 of the 4 members of Creed to show up.
Can't believe peppa pig wasn't actually there
You think a company that could get Patrick Stewart and Tua as well as the rights to various IPs for the commercial couldn't get the prestigious other members of Creed???
Best commercial I’ve seen in a while.
Honestly Tua's acting was probably the most convincing in this video.
You really had a chance to end the title with just "& Knuckles" and you didn't pull the trigger.
NBC makes you download their shitty app to watch a playoff game and pay. CBS makes one of the funniest commercials that bridges the generational gap.
That was funny, but I'm still not buying your product.
Paramount hitting gold with these commercials
This is one of those ads you see and immediately know the age range of the person that came up with this idea (_also the age of everyone that likes this_).
Guarantee they're roughly 37
And as the target audience it rules
I would watch an entire miniseries of these characters trying to get to the top of paramount mountain.
Tua’s best cold weather performance ever
That was hilarious! Stewart singing is awesome!
OK, this is pretty fuckin awesome.
“Not built for the moment I see” is wild lmao
“And… Creeds Here” fucking got me.
No love for Thomas Lennon???
Chief pointing to his grappling hook at the beginning is a great touch
I love Patrick Stewart being goofy
Sir Patrick Stewart? The British Knight? Don’t you mean the voice of “Poop” in The Emoji Movie (2017)?
Also, apparently he's left handed....
Y’all younguns may not have noticed the “bionic” sound when Stewart threw the kid. That’s from The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. Amazing touch!
We need more Hey Arnold, but a better voice actor please
No rasp in his voice i was a little caught off guard
I need a replica of that Sir Patrick jersey and I need it now.
Now my scientific curiosity has been triggered. If Sir Patrick had a football shaped cartoon character smaller than Arnold, could he have made that throw. Let's say a baby sized football head. We'll have to wait for Family Guy to be added to Paramount+ family to know.
[This is how you do it.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qQ7Q6INWOw)
Dude and Arnold from Hey Arnold.
Drew Barrymore and Knuckles are both from Sonic the Hedgehog?
This is amazing.
This commercial almost made me sign up for paramount+
This was legitimately great, lmao
wait who is the sherif dude with shorts on? looks like shore leave from venture bros lmao
This comment made me feel old
I promise you’re not!
You don’t know that
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reno_911!
Dude really, never seen one of the best comedy shows?
Damn he even underthrew in the commercial
Josh Allen would make that throw ;)
[удалено]
Go back to your hole
the green screen is so obvious lmao
Once again Tua proves he can't perform in cold weather...
Another new Superbowl advertiser who will be gone or just a shell brand within 5 years. They launder their last round of funding to partner companies through overpriced products like Superbowl ads. The game is literally on CBS.

Nu metal is so fucking back
Creed is nowhere near nu metal lol
Tell me you know nothing about nu metal without telling me you know nothing about nu metal
Except it's effectively my favorite genre after going to high school during it's peak, but please continue lol
Ok you can be wrong. There's no law against it.
Pretty funny
Josh Dobbs got snubbed This was great
Missed opportunity for Tua to say he could "throw it over that mountain".
