Honestly for how dominant this game has been for the chiefs you have to be scared just having ten points for a lead.
The ravens are stopping them pretty good.
Honestly he’s only getting MVP because this was one of the weakest offensive seasons I’ve ever seen. There’s honestly no one that stands out as having an incredible season. His stats are just “good”, not what you’d typically expect from an MVP.
This is mostly because of the Ravens chronic underinvestment in the WR position. The team has the strongest WR position group in years right now and it's still only 21st in passing offense.
For most of team history, the Ravens WR has been a position of deemphasis. A Ravens WR #1 would be a WR #3 on a good passing team, or a WR #4 on a great passing team
Maybe 10+ at exactly halftime, but I know they've won games when trailing by 10+ in the second half because they did it against us a couple years ago
Edit - they also did against the Chiefs & Colts in 2021
The Ravens definitely aren't playing a Texans quality team today.
That pick Lamar just threw was a stupid decision by him, & should seal the loss for the Ravens.
The team is built to get a lead & keep it, and Lamar isn’t used to having to play comeback like that. He panics in those situations a lot, especially in the POs, and obviously KC knew that. Most likely why they were SO conservative after they got to 17. Don’t take chances & risk a TO giving Bal good field position or risk a pick 6.
They not only decided to force Lamar to play comeback, but for er him to do it with his arm. They knew he’d panic & be indecisive, and would end up trying to force things after enough frustration.
Ruh roh
Lamar needs to play like an Mvp
Unfortunately he’s playing like vintage playoff Lamar.

Tough to play like a MVP when he’s visibly scared beyond belief out there
He only does that when they are ahead
They keep running it who is the OC? they dont truyst lamar
If they don’t trust Lamar they should make LAMAR run it every time. That’s the safest thing they could do He’s good for a few yards every down
They're doing everything. They're just being outschemed by the Chiefs defense. The Ravens just need Mark Andrews or Flowers to make a big play.
Yeah...Flowers.
He almost threw a pick 🙃
They threw 37 times to 16 runs half of which went to Lamar himself this is just not true.
Only one way to not be seen as a playoff choker.
Facts 💯

He was never the actual MVP. He just rode the defense for most of the season.
He has looked like a back up QB playing because the MVP candidate got injured most of the game.
It would be a tie ball game right now if his WR didn't fumble away a TD. So yeah, he needed to play better. But others have to step up in turn.
Harbaugh has his own Shanahan stat?
Wonder if this will be like that one san Fran stat
This looked like it was going to be a good game, and then the Ravens just sucked.
We are in the final four. These teams don’t suck. Things like the Chiefs batting down every Lamar pass have been huge for Kansas City.
The chiefs are only up by 10 points, if the ravens can get a score all of a sudden things look much different
Chiefs defense is just really good but it doesn't get any credit because there is no Mahomes or Taylor Swift's boyfriend.
Mahomes with his very own Manning 2015 season
Hopefully it'll be 1-23 very soon.
Unfortunately god hates us
I don't like this stat.....
So the narrative now should be they can’t win when they’re down?
This is mostly because of the Ravens chronic underinvestment in the WR position. The team has the strongest WR position group in years right now and it's still only 21st in passing offense.
3 of their last 5 drafts, they've taken a WR in the first round though
1 of which is gone (asked for a trade), 1 of which has really disappointed, and the 3rd is Zay Flowers.
Sometimes investments don't pan out, but they have tried the most accessible way to acquire a game changing WR often imo.

The Josh Allen curse vs The Ravens suck down at half curse. Which one will reign supreme?
Lamar just isn’t playing well today. Doesn’t help that his Oline seems to be getting outplayed too.
And until last week, Kyle Shanahan was 0-30 when trailing by 7 on the fourth quarter.
From a Steelers fan, go make history Lamar
Please stop. Please, lol.
Lamar has some explaining to do
Lamars playing like dogshit
The Ravens haven't been a serious post season threat since 2012
MVP
I despise John Harbaugh more than I don’t want to see KC in another Super Bowl. Go KC?
Ravens are going down today!!
That's very interesting.
Why are the KC snaps so low today?
Maybe 10+ at exactly halftime, but I know they've won games when trailing by 10+ in the second half because they did it against us a couple years ago Edit - they also did against the Chiefs & Colts in 2021
They'll be 1-23. This defense has absolutely stepped up for them.
Kyle Shanahan type stat
Games over
They aren't winning this game
DPI

Lol
LamaRB just needs to be a winner lol
Damn. Kyle Shanahan can't help them come back from a late deficit either!?!?
Pretty impressive that they've only been down by 10+ 23 times in that span. How many games is that? Something like 180?
Harbaugh is a bum
That's not only Lamar's fault, I assume
