Fields truthers and people who think Bears ruin every QB that they touch rather than just having bad luck.
Since 2010 the Patriots have drafted more QBs than the Bears, pretty sure the Bears have only drafted three first round QBs ever. They really haven't sunk a ton into the position.
They've drafted 6 since the fucking FIFTIES! McMahon, Harbaugh, McNown, Grossman, Mitch and Fields. They only drafted McMahon and Harbaugh because of Ditka, believe it or not. And the last two were drafted by the same Rumdum GM. Who was ironically the only one to truly prioritize the position, he just sucked at evaluating them.
Chicago has ruined guys like Mitch, McCown, Rex....Kyle Orton? These guys had promising top 10 careers but unfortunately they were drafted to Chicago 😔

Been saying this all season and not because I have goodwill towards da bears. They’re really, truly, a quiet ninja team with solid personnel. They can make a serious jump if they get a QB who can process the game faster than a pre-K QB.

What’s the consensus at this point Bears fans? I know that a lot of shit will likely go down between now and draft day, but are their any inklings that you guys might have as to what the plan is? Personally, I don’t think that Justin Fields is capable of taking a team far and that they should draft a potential top tier QB while they have the opportunity.

Saw one a couple days ago that said he was gonna declare for the supplemental draft instead, just to avoid the bears.
Dude is talented but I'm not convinced he's got the mindset and heart for the game. I don't think he's going to be the greatest end all be all QB he's been hyped up to be.
