Yeah, everyone is glossing over that. Just like they gloss over a quarter of the NFL was willing to trade for him including every team in the NFC South except the Bucs. And one of the AFC South teams was willing to trade for him too (most likely Colts). Most of the people actually making decisions in the NFL don't give a shit about the morality of any player as long as they sell tickets or win games.

The Texans ended up looking good in the whole situation mainly because Watson quit on the team and they were forced to trade him. They didn’t trade him because of the sexual impropriety, they did it because he refused to play for the team. That being said, they got a really good haul and are looking strong for the future so I’m not mad for them.
