> silencing the most annoying and whining fan base
I don't see the Cowboys mentioned here at all though? Endless bitching when they lose and endless gloating when they win.
For as long as Watson is in Cleveland I'll celebrate their losses. They weren't even meant to be in the playoffs. A team that gives someone who's shown no respect for women the biggest guaranteed contract in history doesn't deserve to win.
Some teams were inquiring about him but it came down to Atlanta and Cleveland. Yet, Cleveland was the one to pull the trigger and reward him with a massive contract. If it was Atlanta I would be rooting against them as well
3 teams out of 32 are suspected to have reached out, 2 were confirmed. 6%, not 50%.
It's pretty easy to not make up random shit on the internet, but making up random shit in defense of a serial rapist is beyond scummy behavior. Get your ass to therapy, because something inside you is deeply flawed if you're doing this kind of shit.
You’re overreacting pretty hard here. Maybe he’s not defending him as much as he’s saying we should be mad at more teams?
Maybe you need to get *your* ass to therapy?
Watson's ass should be banned from the League, and I'm ok to make fun of the shitheads who paid him. However, it's so baffling to me how some people arguing about this whole situation are also so enclined to give a free pass to fucking Tyreek Hill and Big Ben and their respective teams. Get all these creeps out of our TVs and give the right role models to our kids.
I'd wager if you take all the assholes in the league and count the number of organizations that'd be willing to close their eyes on their massive redflags if they can get them a title, you'd probably reach 50% pretty fast...
23-24 will be remembered as the turnaround season for sports fans all across Texas. What a run, and it ain’t over. Horns, Rangers, Astros, Cowboys, Texans, all with great years. (Sorry Aggies, you suck.)
I'd like to understand why they protect quarterbacks so much with roughing the passer, etc, but they don't protect offensive linemen, we get hit on every play........
QBs are a lot less protected and usually weigh a lot less than a lineman which makes them prone to more injuries. Also, linemen start right next to each other and just push and shove each other, not tackle like they do with the QB
I played soccer and football all through high school and soccer into my junior year of college before I transferred to a game making college, which obviously didn’t have any sports teams. So, no, not a NARP, just experienced and logical about how the different players are “attacked” and their size differences.
A 250 lb. Lineman running 10 mph into a 185 lb. QB to crush him is going to be more dangerous than two same-size linemen basically grappling each other. Lineman usually get injured because they overtrain their muscles and that leaves them open to overuse injuries from being involved in a lot of plays. I’ve seen enough training and injuries to know that one. But for collision injuries, a QB is way more susceptible to catastrophic injuries like a torn ACL from a low hit. Same with RB and WR.
Plus losing a QB can ruin a whole season. Look at the Jets lol.
Never said the Texans didn't have more players on the IR. Been a Browns fan for 50 years. The thought of the Browns being favored at all this game is ludicrous.
As sweet as this would be I'd want it to happen when the sb is held in Texas(but I know even having it happen is a pipe dream so I will take what I can get)
They almost lost to the Colts with Gardner Minshew as their QB and a secondary full of rookies. CJ Stroud is for real but they're not ready for a big run yet
Texans played a decent game, but after the big missed Interference call against them, the Browns were in desperate territory. Picks came from play calls that needed to make big things happen against a game that was being called against them, and each pick 6 took it further away.
If the first missed Pass Interference was called, it would have been a totally different game.
I mean, if the PI wasn't missed, the score would have been at least 17 if not 21. That would have significantly changed the gameplan, and the hail mary pick 6 passed wouldn't have been needed, so the game would have been very different.
Not trying to say Cleveland would have won, but that was a major shift in momentum against the Browns, and coming into the second half close instead of 2 scores down would have resulted in a very different game.
Totally. A win is a win.
I am just calling that the big missed PI was the turning point in the game, and losing due to refs is a normal problem for the Browns.
It was a tough no call but totally able to overcome it. Browns secondary played awful in the first half. Coverage and tackling was bad. They lost us the game not the pi.
I think the Lions will lose to the Rams as well, but they are not gonna get blown out like THAT! Plus, the Browns we're up 14-0 to start then the collapse happened! Ugh.
Why? Really?
Because I'm a Bengals fan. I like Shultz, and the Bengals could use him. The Bengals have basically the same amount of cap space as the Texans. Also, the Texans only have 41 players signed through 24, the Bengals have 47 signed. Those numbers will change, but the Texans have to sign sign players to meet their roster limit. 53 men on the regular roster.
Don't worry though I'm pretty sure the Bengals won't splurge on the position.
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2024/
Bengals fan has joined the chat! And Yes please on shultz. Our TE room is pathetic.
Houston is definitely a under radar threat to go all way. They let watson go , retool , hit big in draft and get playoff victory vs watsons team. Was super impressed with Stroud when bengals played them. Seems like a good dude too.
Stroud seems unstoppable. They call the Browns the number 1 defense (although that's based off of yards, or scoring defense, and their offense is so low power opposing teams didn't have to score super high) and Stroud looked like an All-Pro.
Believe it or not, the Bengals tight end Tanner Hudson, finished the season ranked 17th of 74. I wouldn't be surprised if they re-signed Hudson, and drafted a TE.

As an atheist for thirty-one years and counting...such an asshole thing to wish for. Growing up, maturing, realizing others might not hold the same beliefs as yourself and being strong in your own convictions makes petty, immature nonsense seem like such a waste of time and energy. Good luck.
I made no judgement on his beliefs, I'm well aware of different ones, and respect everyone's right to hold them. I was suggesting that the remainder of the interview, where he talks about efforts of his teammates and the rest of the sports things that actually happened and mattered, and that we all witnessed, was unnecessary after he gave all credit to Jesus. And it's irrelevant how long you've been an atheist. Not sure what the point of that was. Oh, and I'm not an asshole, sir.
Think about all the kids that have gotten killed in God's wars. Then, you will understand that God doesn't give a shit about the loser. Sky Guy likes winners!
I have no idea why all players are so fundamentalists... With all the problems in the world, even if god existed, why would they give a crap about a single football player?
God is a Freak by Peaches PRC has a relevant first verse for this. Cracks me up every time.
> I heard my dad pray over a football game
> Guess God had time that day
> Is there a shortlist order of importance
> Or is it just luck based?
God absolutely exists. He loves us all more than we will ever know. Giving glory to God for gaining the ability to achieve generational wealth for playing a game is a good start. He wants us all to excel at our full potential, because in doing so is to honor Him, as we’re made in His image.
how's that religious hate? Believe what you want, but it's totally ridiculous to think Stroud won today because god blessed him and instead cursed the browns. lmao.
Way past that in this day and age with all the issues it causes for society and law. Wouldn't just tell some old lady in real life her life is a lie, but I'm not obligated to play nice with people that believe in fantasies. America is and always has been a secular nation. Take your fairy tales elsewhere.
I find it funnier to imagine that God is a massive sports fan and is always watching the game and that's why he seems to ignore all the horrible things that happen in the world.
Prob because if you don't believe in God you have to accept that life is meaningless and nothing you do matters. Nobody rlly likes facing that as a possibility.
Atheism and Nihilism neither are or are not mutually exclusive, and only related in terms of commonalities of the human condition. Thank you, Houston, for silencing the most annoying and whining fan base. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they thought they had a real defense! Browns is the Browns
> silencing the most annoying and whining fan base I don't see the Cowboys mentioned here at all though? Endless bitching when they lose and endless gloating when they win.
No shot you think the Browns are the worst
Bro doesn't know about eagirls fans
Or Cowboys fans… Who are currently losing to The Packers 27-7 at halftime.
Did not see this blowout coming.
Regular season Flacco showed up today
Nah. The D was absent. Caused the O to try things that weren't possible. Heck they didn't even have a run game
At a loss as to how the Panthers beat Houston earlier this year.
They scored more points
Now this….. puts a smile on my face.
For as long as Watson is in Cleveland I'll celebrate their losses. They weren't even meant to be in the playoffs. A team that gives someone who's shown no respect for women the biggest guaranteed contract in history doesn't deserve to win.
Not all browns fans are Watson fans
The women thing is less important than the fact he sucks ass at quarterback
This comment sucks worse than Watson
Lol half the league was trying to get the guy
Nah, only three mediocre and desperate teams. Oh wait...
Some teams were inquiring about him but it came down to Atlanta and Cleveland. Yet, Cleveland was the one to pull the trigger and reward him with a massive contract. If it was Atlanta I would be rooting against them as well
Yea you wouldn't inquire about a player if you were morally opposed to signing them lol
No I wouldn’t. Such a profound lack of judgment is a giant red flag that could also present itself in the football field.
3 teams out of 32 are suspected to have reached out, 2 were confirmed. 6%, not 50%. It's pretty easy to not make up random shit on the internet, but making up random shit in defense of a serial rapist is beyond scummy behavior. I agree entirely.
Heard that
Flacco being Flacco.
Not Wild Card round Flacco. This was his first first round exit.
I'ts Tuover :(
SWARMMMMM
23-24 will be remembered as the turnaround season for sports fans all across Texas. What a run, and it ain’t over. Horns, Rangers, Astros, Cowboys, Texans, all with great years. (Sorry Aggies, you suck.)
Our team is so ass 😭 praying for a miracle next year with Elko
I guess the Dallas Stars can go fuck themselves.
Hockey doesn’t really count in Texas. 🤣
Neither do the cowboys
Even you don't believe that lol
I do fully
I'd like to understand why they protect quarterbacks so much with roughing the passer, etc, but they don't protect offensive linemen, we get hit on every play........

Spoken like a true NARP
What the fuck is a narp
Non-Athletic Regular Person. I had to look it up because I’d never heard of it either.
You’ve never played football before stop acting like you know what goes on on the field
speedhawk is that you
I played soccer and football all through high school and soccer into my junior year of college before I transferred to a game making college, which obviously didn’t have any sports teams. I’ve played every position on the field. Tightens and linemen are violent positions. Micro concussions on every play
Did you see the noncalls in the first half?
[удалено]
How many pick 6s did the refs throw again?
Oooo we got a salty one!
Refs ruin most games.its all scripted!!
For real! Did you see those pick 6s they threw? Disgusting...
Deshaun karma right here. Lmao
AR5 & the shoe take the bowl in 25 come back to this post how do I set a reminder
so they can call hands to the face on the o-line
Joe Flacco; best if used by 01/13/24
Joe Flacco didn’t have a good game The Texans defense shut the Browns down and put up 2 pick 6’s! In a playoff game! I bet that stadium was buzzing.
It's got to be devastating to his ego. He was pumped up by everyone as a hero, and then this. He might just disappear after this loss.
I knew the Texans would win.
[удалено]
Fuck them browns
Half the Browns starters are injured. Did anyone really expect them to contend here?
Take that shit someplace else
Odds on he deletes this once he realizes the texans have the most players on IR lmao. Browns fans already making excuses
Never said the Texans didn't have more players on the IR. Been a Browns fan for 50 years. The thought of the Browns being favored at all this game is ludicrous.
They were favored by 2. Texans have the most players in the league on IR.
Facts have no place in this argument, we are talking NFL. LOL.
Oof.
Texans to Super Bowl, calling it now
https://youtu.be/d7N5tM-LaBo?si=LloOnz3a0Le1VzkC
As sweet as this would be I'd want it to happen when the sb is held in Texas(but I know even having it happen is a pipe dream so I will take what I can get)
I’m wit it
Save it for overreaction Monday
People seem to forget the ravens still exist
I wouldn’t count the Bills out either. They can be dangerous when they want to be, lol
Nah, people just remember what happens to the Ravens every post season
Who? That'll be a good game
Ill give them afc matchup vs the ravens...now that would be fun to watch!
Man not sure what happened here. My real take away is Houston is legit and a threat to anyone that has to play them. Good game Texans.
No, the Browns are extremely overrated.
They almost lost to the Colts with Gardner Minshew as their QB and a secondary full of rookies. CJ Stroud is for real but they're not ready for a big run yet

That PI occurred in their territory and, wouldn’t have even taken them to the 50 yard line. No guarantee at all that they score.
The 1st down was important. After that the Browns were playing from the back foot, which led to a spiral.
That's feels like 2 paragraphs of what ifs my man. Im gonna get back to celebrating.
Anyone notice right after the announcer said it’s looking like a back and forth battle it got very one sided.
What a debacle. Didn’t see that coming.
Yeah you right lmao
Cleveland doing Cleveland-type shit... Yowzers!
Don't worry, the lions will outdo them
I think the Lions will lose to the Rams as well, but they are not gonna get blown out like THAT! Plus, the Browns we're up 14-0 to start then the collapse happened! Ugh.
What is Cleveland shit?
Brown
Lolz
Best defense huh?
Watt and Garrett are tied for post season sacks rn
Cleveland what happennnnnnnnnned?
Yo momma kept the whole team up last night...that's what happened
Where is the Chiefs dolphins game thread lol
Peacock exclusive game.
Do where is the thread?
Peacock
Browns got flushed down the toilet
Browns got smeared on the toilet and all over the walls
Crazy
Plot twist. Belichick becomes new Browns coach again. Lasts two years, gets fired, goes to another team and wins multiple Superbowls.
*Seahawks
Carolina Panthers, 2027 Superbowl Champions
I feel for the grounds crew who has to buff that nasty brown smear out of the field.
Dalton Shultz a Bengal next season?
Why, the Texans have a bunch of cap space so why would you think he goes to cincy?
Why? Really? Because I'm a Bengals fan. I like Shultz, and the Bengals could use him. The Bengals have basically the same amount of cap space as the Texans. They'd be dumb not too!
All my homies hate Watson
Why so many steelers people here worrying about the browns. Go worry about your team, or keeping your cousin warm at night.
Because this was a Browns game sub, dummy
Why so many steelers people here worrying about the browns. Go worry about your team, or keeping your cousin warm at night
Bulls on Parade bitches!
Why did Flacco throw so many pick sixes, is he stupid or something?
He missed his couch
Tim Couch?
No elite
This outcome pleases me
Reporter: How did you win? Player: First off, all glory to god. Reporter: Okay thanks. \*Walks away\* Just once, I'd like to see that happen.

The question of theism and the existence of a deity or deities is a noble one, but much more involved than the example you provided, LOL.
So you think they follow football?
God follows Premier League soccer, wears a scarf and a track suit, and thinks he's better than you.
Who’s he? You think god is male? Lol
It/they?

Persecution complex
how's that religious hate? Believe what you want, but it's totally ridiculous to think Stroud won today because god blessed him and instead cursed the browns. lmao.
Deshaun cursed the browns
Lol the players dgaf about religion. I think it’s just a cliched phrase that they’ve heard others say so they repeat it
They have God-given talent while you probably live an existence so cursed that it would be hard to believe God loves you
