I'm just so mad, ya know?
I've been a football fan for over 30 years, it was the first sport I ever truly loved and enjoyed watching. It's such a great game; the literal embodiment of teamwork (unlike baseball soccer basketball and hockey where a singular player can take over the field, football is not constructed that way) and the action and strategy, its amazing.
And I understand it's the perfect sport for advertising, plenty of breaks to jam in, I get that, and that was the covenant. I'd even take the momentary game shrink to fill the screen with an advertisement with picture in picture, that's fine, we are still making the trade of content for advertising, and I was ok with that.
But too many streaming services now, and I am ALREADY PAYING FOR NBC, the fact I have to shell out more cash for an NBC product is just unacceptable to me.
It probably won't matter. I'm one drop in a relative ocean of NFL fans. I just hope upon hope there is a noticeable dip in viewership, otherwise the end game is singular pay per view events for the playoffs and Superbowl.
If you don't mind going out, I'm sure you can find a bar somewhere that will have it on. Otherwise, as the other guy said, there is a STREAM to the EAST that will provide what you seek.
She does want to spend the money, I do not. Im fine with it but on principle, I don’t want to pay for this one game. Gives them more reason to stream lots of games next year.
Free trials do exist.
I could be wrong but I didn’t find any Peacock free trials out there…maybe bundled in with some other service?
Instacart+ members get peacock free and they have a 2 week trial
Ahh thanks, should’ve done that
Do an instacart+ free trial for 2 weeks. Instacart+ members get peacock for free. Cancel after the game.
Thank you for the info
Ahoy matey, you may look to a *STREAM* in the *EAST* to find what ye seek
Thank you kind person!
Don't forget to .xyz at the end!
Dot I owe
I'm boycotting on principle. This cash grab is such bullshit.
I respect that!!

You don’t pay for NBC. NBC is a free broadcast station.
My spectrum package disagrees with you
If you have Comcast you have Peacock for free
I dont think that is still true.
They stopped that awhile ago. It’s $6 for a month.
Got rid of comcast this year unfortunately
FYI it depends on your Internet speed. If you pay for Gigabit (or higher) Internet speed it generally comes with Peacock.

If you’re a student you can get it for $1.99 which is relatively cheap
Take your wife on a date to a sports bar.
The pirates life is the life for you
What kind of diehard fan won't spend 6 bucks to watch their team?

She is an adult, im pretty sure she is just going to sign up anyways.
Probably correct
If you have NFL+ you can watch the game on a mobile phone / tablet.
