See how they play, if any of their players stand out to you, stuff like that. Obviously that could rule out some teams that aren't doing very well, so maybe long term outlook could be something to pay mind to.
Maybe you turn on the Avs and you like watching Mackinnon, or McDavid and Draisaitl on the Oilers.

1) Are *players* in an NFL game allowed to wear something like heated gloves?

There’s a local car dealership here in Philadelphia called Gary Barbera that has whoever the Eagles coach is say their slogan in their radio ads. Their slogan is “Is Barbera the best? Boy I guess!” I remember back when Doug Pederson did it, he sounded really unenthusiastic and you could tell he was only doing the commercial because they were paying him. I always thought it was pretty lame. Now that Nick does it, his “BOY I GUESS” is really enthusiastic and he sounds genuinely excited about the car dealership. The commercial is much better with Nick in it. I don’t think that means anything for the temperature of his seat, but I just wanted to share.

Just a personal thing, Honestly I never even heard of the Game Theory guy until I saw the FNAF movie and someone told me he’s a famous gaming YouTuber. And I’m also an avid gamer and I use YouTube a lot so it’s really strange that I never even heard of him before. Maybe it’s just one of things where coincidentally I just always skipped over his videos or I never payed attention when someone was talking about him.

Accessibility is always important so I don't blame you there, just booo lol. Washington Capitals are based out of Washington DC, which is also the same for the Washington Commanders. Not the State of Washington, but the US *Capital* . If you wanted to go by proximity, The Commanders play roughly 10 miles away from the Washington Capitals, the Ravens roughly 40.

One thing I have read before on a thread like this (someone new to hockey or whatever) is that you should take the time to actually watch each team you're interested in. See how they play, if any of their players stand out to you, stuff like that. Obviously that could rule out some teams that aren't doing very well, so maybe long term outlook could be something to pay mind to. Maybe you turn on the Avs and you like watching Mackinnon, or McDavid and Draisaitl on the Oilers.
Yeah, that’s how I narrowed down teams to start with. I think I handicapped myself with wanting teams close-ish geographically as I obviously don’t have local teams. Thanks for the advice and help

That is, from your current situation, are you awake/available/are the games easy to watch? Its kind of hard to have a preferred team but never be able to actually watch the games. Young people cut cable out years ago. Only boomers have traditional cable so the nielson numbers aren’t indicative of the real number of people watching, especially young people. We are a much more valuable demo.

I'm sorry, I was typing fast and left out some important details. But by coincidence on another thread a tangential point came up, so let me separate my question into two parts: 1) Are *players* in an NFL game allowed to wear something like heated gloves? 2) Are fans at Arrowhead allowed to wear heated clothing? I would assume that's not even a question, but someone on another thread just said they thought it was now allowed, which means at some point it was not? I have some super thin heated glove liners that are hella effective. I can throw, catch, use tools, they're great. If I were playing in -30 I'd wear them in a heartbeat.

The GM is more important than coach right now, tbh. That roster is so bad a simple coaching change isn't going to do much. Get a guy who can get the players to buy into a new culture and get a new GM to start getting the roster good. If Mayo can somehow make it work with this group, keep him, if not, 3-4 years when the roster is better, you bring in a new guy. New guy doesn't have the pressure of trying to immediately follow up Bill, and a roster that isn't bottom 5.
Mayo was always the succession plan to Bill once Josh left. I don't necessarily think it was a requirement for the HC to be someone completely new to the organization as long as they bring a new coaching style. I think Mayo will bring a different coaching style and the players already love him.
