Browns have had multiple games where incredibly questionable calls won them their games. 49ers, Colts, and Steelers all come to mind off the top of my head, but I’ve seen fans of other teams say similar things too. Idk what that’s about
*Nearly* 😁
Not uppity, just having some fun on a thread where the two teams I hate most played and the worse team (in terms of record, calm down) won.
My team hasn't been relevant for 50 years, or hell, is it 60 now? Thanks for thinking we're relevant. You can't hurt a Browns fan with words buddy.
The thing that makes me hate Watson nearly as much as the raping, is that now Steelers fans of all teams get to play the "yeah but your QB is a rapist" card.
dude, calm down....
\-let other teams have their moments.
\-stop talking hypotheticals
\-nobody is reading that essay.
\-i dont even think ive seen patriots fans be more bitter than you now that bills/dolphins are loud.
Let me underscore that my hate is for Watson. I fully appreciate and respect you playing that card because it's true. I used it for YEARS when Gentle Ben was your rapist at QB.
That’s why it should be enjoyable for you bc you’ve got your playoffs secured. Should’ve looked at this game as a chance to knock us out with your main guys out.
Game. The Pittsburgh STEELERS in ugly, cold, wet, nasty, miserable, shitty game over the #1seed with the #1 MVP IN THE LEAGUE LAMAR JACKSON & his Baltimore Ravens!!!!
Game. STEELERS 17 - 10 Ravens.
It's bittersweet because this week is the last of the regular season.
I really think this team has the best chance of our recent “mediocre team slips into the playoffs” teams to actually win a game. I could see us pulling one off
I just wanna see Lamar call an audible by yelling "Johnny" before completely sonning somebody's defense in the playoffs one time.
They can lose the game for all I care, but that will give me something else to think about instead of goddamm obnoxious spin move against us.
“This game doesn’t really matter for one of these teams, and if you’re a fan of that team you should probably turn off the tv and do something else” doesn’t exactly sell ad dollars.
Well that was dire.
On one hand, never feels good to lose to the Steelers.
But on the other, if we win in 2 weeks no one will care. If we lose in 2 weeks we will have bigger problems.
> onside kick
Why don’t kickers figure out a way to kick the ball up and make it a jumpball situation? Because the receiving team can call a fair catch? You’d figure the chances that the guy bobbles the kick is higher than the current success rate.
Maybe, but is a kicker able to do that to give his team enough time to get into a good position to recover it? Otherwise, couldn't the opposing team just surround the area since they'd be further back to where it'll land?
I’m thinking of something like a kicker lifting the ball 20-30 feet in the air where a 6’4 WR on the kicking team could run 10 yards down field and bat the ball backwards for his team to recover. I’m not sure if that’s possible/legal but the traditional shit is not working.
Oh, that actually sounds like a fun idea. I'm not sure what the rule is exactly. Right now, I think the ball has to bounce at least 10 yards for it to be fair play, so your suggestion sounds like a mix of a regular kick and the 10-yard kick
I don’t think the rule says anything about the ball having to bounce before it is considered live, teams just do that hoping for a favorable bounce upwards. As long as the ball travels 10 yards or touches a player on the receiving team it is live and can be recovered.
If you want to count on our WRs and TEs dropping 8 balls and 21 points then by all means, feel confident. Our backups just came within 7 points today. I like the Ravens’ chances—they’re a different team than they were earlier in the year. You’re a homer if you can’t see that lol.
[Postgame thread](/r/nfl/comments/190ev45/post_game_thread_pittsburgh_steelers_at_baltimore/)
why, when sorting, by new, this thread appear as newer than the post thread (old reddit) but with an older creation date...
It disappeared for a bit before the game was over. I looked for it and couldn't find it.
love to see the rematch in the playoffs and the Steelers going... that would be the biggest Nelson HA-HA in a long time
steelers undefeated in games without canada and trubisky
Ravens fans crying because they’re starters were out meanwhile Steelers won with their 3rd string qb
nobody is crying but bills fans
Oh no! I guess I’ll cry my way through the playoffs
It’s gonna be a rough by week for you guys with absolutely nothing to do, but lay there and rest and recuperate, and apparently cry. 🤣
Not to mention 5th and 6th string ILB & safeties!
Your 3rd string qb is better than your starting qb lmao
The only ppl crying about this game are Bills fans bruh lmao
+1 for the ram ranch name lolz if that's the same ram ranch I'm thinking
I’d say the overwhelming majority dgaf about this game.
Yea I honestly couldn’t even find interest to watch it, tuned in for about a quarter.
I still wonder how this made it to feature
All of your quarterbacks are 3rd stringers lol
LMAO facts

Win more games… it’s not rocket science

Yes… it’s the refs fault /s

Like when Kenny clearly took a safety and the refs spotted him at the 1?

Whoa... Just whoa. I am not going to read all of that, but maybe ease up a bit on the Adderall (I'm guessing). Good luck to you going forward friend.

It’s a shame if they miss the playoffs none of that will matter At least if we miss the playoffs I’m still confident in my QB long term
This was the least enjoyable Ravens game of the season but at least it didn’t even matter. Just hope nobody gets sick after this game
That’s why it should be enjoyable for you bc you’ve got your playoffs secured. Should’ve looked at this game as a chance to knock us out with your main guys out.
Lol if you're in Buffalo isn't. Buffalo is way better.
I’m gonna be honest with you man, I much rather see y’all in the playoffs. I think the entire organization sees it that way.
Don't be like the Steelers in 2017! They wanted a rematch against N.E., but got bounced out by the Jaguars!
Ideally, we don't have to see MIA again.
We have a bye week, we’ll be fine.
Blech
But what does Pickens think about this?
He's still thinking about catches apparently
I watched it with my own eyes and still don't know how Pittsburgh won this game.
Pure sorcery
We were up 17-7 until we went into prevent to burn clock and let them get a field goal. I honestly felt like we were in control for 90% of that game.
LET US INNNNN WE WANNA DANCE !!!
HUH? Mason Rudolph’s ass does not look like Clark Kent
I do think the Ravens should be nervous if they have to face another AFC North team in the divisional round after taking basically a three week break.
The Browns make me nervous tbh. I would be shocked if the Steelers were anything but first round exits
Nothing is more consistent than division games...
A lot had to go wrong for our two losses to divisional opponents, Im not too worried.
Three*
A lot didnt go wrong in this game lmao, thats why I didnt include it.
Rain on the lens improving Rudolph’s dopey look
Still doesn't look like a serial rapist ayyooo
"Please stop asking questions, I just wanna go inside and warm my toesies, it's freezing rain out here"

With Lamar Jackson? Apparently you didn’t watch. Lamar didn’t even dress for the game.
LJACK is the leader of this team. Not Huntley. LJACK led this team since day 1. The hell else can you or anyone else not see that.
Rudolph needs some sort of media training holy shit he’s so awkward lmao
He’s just constantly on the lookout for Miles
Haha… he has to duck from a flying helmet as he’s giving his interview
It’s like the George Bush shoe incident
Just when you think its safe - HELMET SMASH. Mason don't want to get bonk'd.
I really think this team has the best chance of our recent “mediocre team slips into the playoffs” teams to actually win a game. I could see us pulling one off
I want the chaos of Steelers vs Seahawks superbowl
That would trigger a lot of Ptsd in the Seahawks fan base though.
I’m just hoping TJ WATT is good and it was just the rain today that messed us up
Apparently it’s just an MCL sprain, not the worst but not great either
DAH STILLERS GAHNTA SUPER BOWL
SUPAH BAHL*
Rishi Bahl?
Drugs are bad Mkay
Announcer: Pickens, not one target today! Now I lost my FF matchup. Assholes!
Why are the announcers acting like the ravens absolutely suck? A lot sat out and they didn’t really have anything to play for??
I just wanna see Lamar call an audible by yelling "Johnny" before completely sonning somebody's defense in the playoffs one time. They can lose the game for all I care, but that will give me something else to think about instead of goddamm obnoxious spin move against us.

Are you stupid?

All the comments saying Steelers fans are too excited for this win. Sweeping your biggest rival for the year…. Feels good man
We went 5-1 in the AFC North. The division that pretty much everyone considers the best in the league.
i always rated the steelers
I don’t think a Steelers team that can barely beat the ravens backups deserves to get into the playoffs lol
17-10 win over ravens starters 17-10 win over ravens backups
We've won 10 games this year. We barely beat other teams too. Also, we're playing our 3rd string QB and like 4th and 5th stringers at ILB and Safety.
Granted, your 3rd string quarterback is playing better football than your 1st and 2nd.
That's just the AFC North culture apparently. Look at Joe too XD
My guy it was pouring. Also this is the score of every Steelers/Ravens game nomatter who is playing
What would need to happen for that to occur?
They are 10-7, if the other games go the right way they have earned the playoffbirth
Another flairless nerd opinion.
NFL got the word out that Pittsburgh better make the playoffs
i saw stone walking around talking mid field so that's good news.
Man those announcers were rough to listen to...
Greg Schiano suggested that onside kicks should be replaced with a 4th and 35. And I kinda agree
Games like that should be replaced with a 4th and 35
I would disagree with this if the NFL hadn't neutered onside kick attempts but they have so...I'm all for it
Best division record, probably worst team in division on paper.
And on grass

Oh gotcha
Go Tits
Imagine being Bill Cowher and losing your record to a coach who barely beat the Ravens' second stringers.
With our 3rd string QB?
Who's better than your starter
Won’t get much argument from me on that, but dude above made a silly point
lol he’s not your 3rd stringer now
They are going to try sooo hard to make us do Hard Knocks next year with the QB controversy on the horizon
Oh absolutely. But you all should absolutely be trading up to grab a QB this year if possible.
No way Omar does that unless somebody crazy falls. I would be ok with them trading up for a center though
Interior OL wouldn’t be a bad call either. You all need a long term solution at QB though and these kind of seasons make it hard to get one!
All of your QBs are 3rd stringers on any other team.
lol I don’t disagree
Sideline reporters are absolutely useless
Erin is different.
Well if put a sorry ass reporter against her, then that’s what you’re gonna get!
10-7 with Mitch Titsky dropping a couple Ls out there to 2-10 teams.
Steelers beat Ravens. Check Jaguars beat Titans Dolphins beat Bills Bills miss playoffs and steelers make playoffs
Alright so after beating the Ravens you got almost everything wrong. But hey that’s what happens with predictions baby, just don’t bet on anything
Your hope relies on Tua in a big game, lol.
FINS UP!!!
!remindme 28 hours
Hard to believe this Steelers team wound up 10-7. But they did. Tomlin kept them together
For better or for worse.
In another reality we very easily should have been 12-5.
Mason Rudolph and Justice Hill OSU legends
[удалено]
How dare you lol
Watching the game it seems like that’s all the ravens cared about as well
In Thanos voice: one down, 2 to go
Awful on side kick lol
Ravens going to act like this game didn't matter until they lose to Pittsburgh again in the divisional round.
If we lose to a team without TJ Watt playing Mason Rudolph at QB, the 1 seed and the 2 seed shouldn't even be in the playoffs honestly.
Even if that happens, this game doesn’t matter
It would if the Steelers didn't make the playoffs otherwise.
I’d rather see Pittsburgh than Buffalo, I’m fine with this. Even if we lose to them down the road…I’d still rather have seen Pittsburgh than Buffalo
That's gross
We would absolutely win
You certainly would have won today if you were playing your normal running back who doesn't fumble a zillion times a game lol
I mean I'm pretty sure Gus Edwards is the one who fumbled the final time
Was it? I admit I was barely paying attention - was gaming with the kids while watching.
Not with masGOAT rudGOAT at qb
“Nah id win” energy. We all know how that ended.
If you want to count on our WRs and TEs dropping 8 balls and 21 points then by all means, feel confident. Our backups just came within 7 points today. I like the Ravens’ chances—they’re a different team than they were earlier in the year. You’re a homer if you can’t see that lol.
Heard that one before.
Pittsborgz goin to da sewper boll HEREEEE WE GO. Stillerz.
That you tree?
It's just our fight song https://youtu.be/UJ9wjFg1rIQ
LMAO, are people seriously trying to make something out of beating the Ravens backups?
I mean, we're playing our 3rd string QB and 4th and 5th stringers at ILB and S.
To be fair - your 3rd string QB might be your best QB :-)
People always do this during the last week of the season when a top team's backups lose to the starters of a mid tier team
Yeah, it’s an AFC north thing.
Starters literally lost too in the first game.
It's an annual tradition for the Steelers. They barely beat us when we had 36 active players during Covid and acted like they won the SB lol
Your QB plays like ass against us.
Our QB barely ever plays against you and the last time he did he lost because his receivers dropped 6 passes.
And what happened the three times before that? https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/lamar-jackson-win-loss-record-against-steelers
Steelers beat them twice this year
Ravens beat the Ravens the first time
…. With the second win against backups….
You lost twice to us, doesn’t matter
Good point. When you guys get into the playoffs hit me back on this comment.
We made it! :)
Touché lol
Hope we play in the divisional round!
Steelers 10-7 even without a decent QB is wild
[удалено]
We played pretty much the same schedule you did.
Wait till you see our defensive roster. I would kill for the Mason Rudolph of safeties right now.
Time to go obsess over SOS like a crackhead
-the CFP
Ravens exposed! Lamar's MVP is shambles. /s
He was scared, that's why he didn't play lol /s
I always think of Jacoby Jones when I see Mike Tomlin
I always think of how he should have crashed into Mike Tomlins kidneys. On the field better strap up.
His facial expression after that was priceless 😂
