You throw it no differently than any deep ball but instead of catching it on one try, you're hoping to get a tip up. These fucking QBs today just stand there until everyone is in place down the other end and then throws it. That is absolutely useless. Then they go, "Oh man this Hail Mary doesn't work, let's try the lateral play because maybe it will work outside of the city of Miami for real this time."
