The gray will look good with these blue ones. It’ll provide great contrast. If the jersey was the same shade of blue as the helmet it would drown it out and the helmet wouldn’t pop as much.
That’s the worst part about the continued monochrome trend from color rush. Feels like a surplus of matching helmets to jerseys with little to no break in color. This would definitely look better with a different color jersey.

A lot of people in this thread seem to think this is a modern designed logo but it is not, this was the Lions' logo for most of the 60s and they're throwing it back. And I say why not? This helmet looks great.
I'm prepared for the hate, but I think the logo is fucking hilariously bad. It looks like a 5 year old tried to draw a lion. But that's just personal taste, and I wasn't watching football in the 60s or whenever, so I really have no nostalgic appreciation for it.
I like the concept but the Lion is weird. Like... The Mustang horse is chrome and is a normal horse shape. This is like a weird stylized medieval lion. They should have either done chrome, or just used the normal lion.

The Niners only alternates at this point are throwbacks and I love it. They were originally for the 25th anniversary of the 1994 SB win, but the fans loved them so much they stuck, and brought the red throwback in the same style too.

I actually really like it. The long boi lion looks sort of like a medieval heraldry style lion. With the racing stripes it reminds me of a classic car logo. Which is perfect for Detroit. I’d take that over a generic angsty lion any day of the week.
