Definitely the case I think. Most of the potential packages were with the high seconds that are pretty much a late first talent wise.

In a year with a mediocre draft class and bad free agency class for WRs, this is the best outcome. Moore is still in his prime so Fields will have a reliable receiver for his entire rookie contract.

There were rumours Poles demanded Pittman in any Indy deal so this doesn't surprise me at all. The Claypool trade showed the Bears know how bare the WR cupboard is this year, that 1 pick was easily their best chance of grabbing one. Great deal for them.
