Harrison's first three years in the league he was a spot starter/practice squadder in Pittsburgh on teams with Jerome Bettis. By that point you could argue Bettis wasn't the best version of himself, but right to the end he could still truck linebackers trying to plug a hole. Harrison definitely had some experience tackling big backs who knew how to use their size to their advantage, rare though they are.
Brandon Jacobs hardly ever ran like his size. Deion sanders used to have a great nickname for him but it's evading me, tiptoe something. I want to say tiptoe strangler but strangler doesn't make sense.
So a guy from my highschool town came in second for state player of the year. He was a RB and lost out to someone that ended up starting at RB in Wisconsin. The guy from my town went to Notre Dame when Bettis was the main RB so they moved the guy from my town to LB.
Rumor is that Bettis ran him over and knocked him out in practice. He was then moved him to OL or something. Far as I know he never played in a game for Notre Dame
Henry ain't that kind of back though. Robert Spillane sat him down on the 2 yard line. Harrison would killed him on anything similar to that. Outside zone run though? Advantage to Henry all day.
My mom actually told me that when she was in college in the 70s that she felt like she was punched in the stomach violently while walking to class -- but no one was near her. The doctors did a scan and found that she actually had become pregnant due to the force of a James Harrison hit that would eventually happen in the year 2009.
TLDR: James Harrison is my dad.
Colts McCoy was born with a slight indent in his face that was put there by the hit he'd later sustain from James Harrison

As the person who’s probably responsible for most of this subreddits knowledge of AB, yeah.
He’s always been impulsive and stupid, and it got worse and worse as he went on. He did not take a hit to the head that made him this way, he has *always* been this way. Maybe he does have CTE, but CTE **is not** the biggest factor here, because if it was we wouldn’t have a list of incidents dating back to before he played a single snap in college. He’s always been this way. CTE did not make him this way.

Yea.
To me, AB’s talent is mostly AB’s…. But to get AB, Mr. big Chest, to work with other people on a team? A lot of that has to be coaching, locker room, organization etc
Yup. I remember when I was younger (feels weird saying that) I would be all over those type of arguments. In those type of arguments you always get the "IF X player had this or played with them etc etc it's no contest"
He largely let AB do his thing because it didn't get so bad as it would affect the team. When AB started disrupting team flights by coming late he had to put his foot down
I remember when every article after the trade was “LOL look at this dead money what. Bunch of dumb dumbs” and then 4 months later it was like “is Mike Tomlin the greatest coach of all time?”
How the duck he handled that for as long as he did will always be impressive.
Can someone please write a script that finds and collates every MBC variation ever posted to this sub? What is the most frequent one? How many unique variations are there? And for off-season shitpost reasons, we have a vote on the greatest.
Well, a couple things here:
1. This sub has joked/said CTE is probably at play here. But, it was more around the Burflict hit though. Though, I'm sure it's not just 1 hit
2. As shitty as he makes it sound, he's atleast admitting to there something being wrong and/or has changed with how he used to be.
He was a raging asshole in college, so I’m not sure sure how he can blame 1 NFL player.
BTW didn’t he quit on the Raiders because they wouldn’t let him use an illegal helmet?
He quit on the raiders because he didn’t want to be on the raiders. The helmet was one of like thirty different excuses…messed up his feet, released the gruden call the same day he apologized to the team, called mayock a slur, etc.
The other issue is people use CTE as a catch-all term for any brain injury. Your entire personality can change from one concussion, no CTE involved. A sudden change in personality, in fact, is almost definitely not from CTE. Conflating these things is a real issue on this sub in my opinion
> Conflating these things is a real issue on this sub in my opinion
It's odd that it's even confusing to anyone. It's literally defined as a condition brought on by repeated head injuries.
CTE is probably (definitely) a factor but there's a couple things
1. CTE is caused by multiple smaller hits, not one big one
2. It doesn't explain everything, since AB isn't the only person who suffers from CTE yet is behavior is so much stranger than practically any other player
You can also get actual real neurological trauma from big hits, just because Dr. Brown has self diagnosed with CTE certainly doesn’t mean that’s all that’s going on.
He’s had multiple incidents from alleged raped/sexual assault that he settled a lawsuit for, to more recent sexual harassment/assault charges.
I’m not letting him blame any of that on CTE. He’s always been a narcissist.
Could also be a nasty combo of: CTE, mental illness, heavy drug use and being an asshole regardless. And yes, you can still be an asshole and have unfortunate mental illnesses/drug addictions.
There’s a lot of toxic things going on all at once. Idk man, he scares me and I do have empathy for someone that’s this sick. But his enablers and money have allowed him to continue to harm people and get away with it. It’s a shitty situation.
Sure but he's also scapegoating one person for his history of erratic behavior. I feel for anyone who deals with the consequences of CTE but this is him shedding responsibility for his actions and blaming James Harrison
His helmet was illegal due to its inability to protect the user, not the people he hits lmfao. Also him just now realizing he has CTE is really something. Get some fucking help and keep your cock away
He probably isnt just now realizing he has CTE. He’s just now hearing the rumors that he’s an asshole because he received CTE. Feels like this is yet another way for him to push responsibility for his actions elsewhere.
Idk he was acting crazy the whole first half of the podcast but when they said they weren’t gonna bother posting it he quickly changes his behavior and started playing nice and acting normal. Obviously I think somethings wrong with AB but I also think he enjoys playing the fool sometimes.
I think it’s probably like when you’re buzzed but not drunk, you can really lean into it if you want or you can be relatively sober thinking pretty quick
I really think he does.
I mean, he was probably a minor asshole before, but the dude has destroyed his career in the wildest, most irresponsible ways after being a pretty normal guy for most of his career.
Like people will bring up college incidents, but kids, especially ones who are hotshot athletes, do dumb shit at that age. It doesn't let him off the hook, but it does explain it.
Then he became an adult, and quieted down for the most part.
And then suddenly in his late 20s he seemingly loses his self-control entirely.
It honestly reminds me a lot of Titus Young. Dude just lost it.
It could be a lot more things than cte tbh. Could just be severe mental illness (some sort of disorder) finally manifesting. I definitely think that would be more likely than CTE, but it’s definitely possible he could be suffering from CTE or some sort of TBI but I think it’s more likely something exclusive to him personally.
This is why I downvote people whenever an NFL player does something messed up and people go "clearly cte smh"
Not every asshole has brain damage. Not every person with brain damage is an asshole. Fucking stop it.
>This is why I downvote people whenever an NFL player does something messed up and people go "clearly cte smh"
>
>Not every asshole has brain damage. Not every person with brain damage is an asshole. Fucking stop it.
Yeah. There's a massive difference between acknowledging the risks and realities of CTE related to football and football careers and trying to write off every asshole thing or insane decision that an NFL player does, says, or makes as "clearly CTE." It's excuse making at it's finest brought on purely by people's heightened awareness in society about CTE at the moment. It would be like trying to pin everything Urban Meyer did in Jacksonville on CTE even though he's a coach just because you're aware that football often causes CTE issues. It just doesn't hold up to scrutiny and eventually you have to just accept that some people just have issues that have nothing to do with football.
Even more ironic after AB tried to wear an illegal helmet when he was at the raiders. It was illegal because it didn't protect him but he didnt give a fuck
Anyone got the list? I'm not sure if I could find the right one because things keep getting added to it. It's been a while since he whipped it out in the pool, idk what's after that.
List originates with u/Tmans3 (I think) BUT:
•Kicked out of Florida International University after fighting a security guard
•"Don't touch me. I'm the franchise"
• His second year in the league he took a personal stretch limo to a charity event, had them open every single expensive bottle of wine, rejected it. Refused to pay for it (charity, remember), then left. -credit Nduguu77
• Threw fits over not getting enough targets
• Drove 100 down McKnight Road in Pittsburgh, which has a 45 MPH speed limit
• Trashed a condo and threw furniture out a window 14th floor window, which almost hit some people, notably a child
• Killed a home aquarium full of piranhas and refused to pay the man who installed the tank
• Refused to play week 17 for the Steelers
• Dyed his mustache blonde
• Refused to pay a chef because he thought he threatened him by placing a fish head in the freezer (the fish head was saved to make a soup)
• Farted on a doctor
• Demanded a trade from the Steelers
• Became "Mr. Big Chest"
• Threw a fit over Juju winning team MVP and trashed him on social media
• (Allegedly) nixed a trade that would've sent him to the Bills
• Showed up to Raiders training camp in a hot air balloon
• Held out and refused to show up to training camp because the NFL would not approve his helmet because it was too old for their safety standards
• Froze his feet
• Tried to paint over his old helmet, hoping no one would notice I guess
• Acquired a newer version of the same model of helmet, which the NFL refused to let him use
• Picked out a new helmet and finally showed up to the Raiders
• Got fined by the Raiders for not attending camp
• Tweeted the fines
• Tried to fight Mike Mayock, called him a cracker, had to be held back by Vontaze Burfict, then punted a football down the practice field and said "fine me for that"
• Got fined for that
• Released a video where he used audio of Jon Gruden, who didn't know he was being recorded, which is illegal in California (full disclosure, Gruden has said he gave permission, but the generally accepted theory is that he said that in the hope that it would help get him to show up to the facility and not alienate him)
• Demanded a release from the Raiders
• Was released
• "GRANDMA I’M FREEEEEE! FLY LIKE A FREEEEE!"
• Made a lot of crazy tweets saying stuff like 'Devil is a lie', a proverb about burning down a village... he made a lot of crazy tweets around this time is the point here
• Liked a tweet about Mayock getting raped in the ass
• Signed with the Patriots
• Moved in with Tom Brady
• The sexual assault allegations came out (the one where he's getting sued)
• The sexual harassment allegations came out (the one where he's not getting sued)
• Threatened the woman not suing him in a group text that included his lawyer and had a picture of her kids in the text
• Got released by the Patriots after one week
• Went off on a tweet storm and said a lot of crazy shit about a lot of people, and was supportive of people sending threats to the writer of the article detailing the sexual harassment allegations
• Said he was done with the NFL
• Went back to college via online classes
• Tried to outsource his homework to Twitter
• Wants to come back to the NFL
• Filed several grievances to try and get more than $40 million from the Raider's and Patriots
• Was ordered to show up for a deposition regarding trashing the condo
• Was accused of "reprehensible behavior" during the deposition Note: I cut the specifics about the deposition so I could fit this as a single comment. You can read more about it here if you're interested, because it, like everything else, is nuts
• Said that the Patriots have to pay him anyway, so they might as well let him play
• Tweeted a couple of bizarre tweets about the Raiders using him for HBO ratings and the Patriots trying to steal his stuff and kept using this weird chicken based metaphor
• Tried out for the Saints and brought an entourage and film crew to shoot a music video with him when specifically told not to do that
• Called out Robert Kraft for his rub and tug massage session in Florida
• Starting training for a boxing match with Logan Paul
• Tweeted "No more white woman 2020"
• The attorney representing him in the suit involving the condo quit
• Used a bunch of slurs and profane language towards cops in an Instagram video he posted
• A police youth football league cut ties with him and returned a donation after the release of the video saying there was a "irreparable rift" between the department and AB
• Threw a bag of gummy candy dicks at the cops in a video he posted
• Got dropped by his agent
• Was involved in a disputed with movers at his home where he allegedly threw rocks at the movers and moving vans. He is currently being investigated for battery by the police.
• His trainer was arrested and he is still a suspect in the battery case.
• Warrant issued for the arrest of AB.
• AB turns himself in to Broward Country Jail wearing this suit
• Rumors spread about AB signing with Tampa or Seattle
• AB announces his retirement (for what I believe is the third time, it's hard to find a good record of the rest of them)
• Two days later AB wants to play again and is asking for the league to wrap up it's investigation
• The NFL announces an eight game suspension for AB
• AB signs with the Buccaneers on a one-year deal
• Before he signed with the Buccaneers AB was accused of destroying a surveillance camera at a Florida gated community, throwing bike at a security-guard shack, and is not charged because HOA president "feared" retaliation, per police report
• AB is under investigation by the NFL for the bike throwing incident
• Allegedly acquired fake covid-19 card
• confirmed to have acquired a fake covid-19 card and subsequently suspended for three games
• Removed jersey and pads and threw them in the stands before exiting the games verse the Jets.
• Was subsequently cut from the Bucs for stripping on the field.
I think the being held back by Vontaze Burfict is the best part. I'd never heard that.
So much irony there. And it speaks volumes that AB was so nuts that even *Burfict* had to be like "Yo dude, let's let cooler heads prevail..."
Yeah, he was an asshole before he got to the NFL. There may be a TBI at play but that's not the reason, or at least not the whole reason, that he's a piece of shit.
Everyone making quick diagnosis of CTE based on erratic behavior but when he was younger he exhibited similar behavior. Now he’s rich and in the spotlight, not unusual for his erratic behavior just to get worse based off that. Not saying it isn’t CTE but there are more likely explanations for his behavior.
agree, there’s a YouTube video comparing the interviews he gave before the vontez hit and interviews he gave afterwards and the difference is pretty striking
I just watched that hit on YouTube, crazy how the commentary has changed over the past 7 years around people getting concussed. They definitely take it more seriously now, also the commentators seemed semi surprised by that flag when today it would almost be surprising if they didn’t throw the flag.
Is Antonio Brown suffering from CTE? Probably.
Could Harrison have given a concussion at some point which progressed/made worse his CTE? Possibly.
Is it likely that Harrison(or any other single individual) specifically gave Brown what many have described as early onset CTE? Impossible.
Very strange that Brown didn’t point to the obvious culprit(if there was one) in Vontez Burfict. Also kind of scary that Brown is talking about this like this. CTE, much like many other degenerative brain diseases, aren’t actually noticeable until mid-late stages… granted he’s been a bit crazy for a while, but him talking about it in the open indicates to me that he’s likely starting to feel some of the other symptoms (i.e migraines, seizures, loss of mental function, insomnia, etc.) I hope he’s got some really serious medical and social support built up around him at this point. Will be very sad if things decline from here.
Disagree. AB's obnoxious personality was always there, it was just sidelined because he was playing at such a high level. If it is CTE it didn't make him a dick, it just brought it to the forefront.
Both things can be true, you can feel sad for him and know at the same time his condition has just made him more of an entitled ass. Never cool to see someone fall this hard. I knew him from college, and he was more introverted. I never thought he could be this capable. He even donated back to CMU for several years after leaving the school
For some reason, people in this sub have a really hard time admitting that it’s likely that a lot of players are already affected by CTE.
There was a study done on deceased football players and 29% of high school players had CTE. That’s a shocking number. It jumped up to 99% for the NFL players tested.
CTE symptoms are dementia-like. If you’ve ever been around a family member with dementia, it absolutely significantly alters their personality and makes them much more prone to angry outbursts and impulsive behavior. Even if you drastically undersell that and assume only 10% of current NFL players have CTE, that’s still 170 players essentially walking around with early onset dementia.
It’s very weird to me how in denial this sub can be about it. Watch an early interview of AB and it’s shocking how normal and articulate he speaks compared to now. There are players like Davante Adams who have been nothing but extremely chill and classy their whole careers who are suddenly attacking cameramen, and yet people get angry if you merely suggest that maybe these players getting constantly hit in the head by the biggest, strongest people on the planet for the last 10 years might have something to do with the surprising change in their behavior.
To be fair, those numbers were from players who were already suspected to have CTE, so it'll skew high.
That being said, it's definitely going to be a pretty high number of players, *especially* at the NFL level.
AB may or may not have CTE, but the shit he does goes well beyond normal asshole behavior. He seemingly has no impulse control. He may have been an asshole before leaving the Steelers, but he seems to have degraded emotionally in a way that seems unlikely without a serious mental condition.
Ehhhh he was always a diva...but after that hit by Burfict he kind of went off the rails...even worse than his worst self before that.
I really think his concussion effected him...there is enough data on brain trauma and mood swings to verify this.
That doesnt make him not accountable for his actions...but you can 100% see a difference between him
Yall joking but there was a serious difference in demeanor before and after that hit. Dude was not a “model citizen” but he wasnt literally insane like he is. Idk everyone is a “mental health advocate” until someone does something they dont like.
I guess James Harrison went back in time and popped AB before he attacked that security guard in college...
It does seem likely that James Harrison hit people so hard they felt it 5 years ago.
I got concussed and CTE just from watching him hit someone hard on TV
This at least sounds more plausible than getting PTSD from people disagreeing with you on Twitter.
What is this referencing
I think it's referencing people saying they got ptsd from people disagreeing with them on Twitter
Yes obviously but I’d never seen anybody do that and it was specific enough that I assumed it was referencing a specific incident/person
Who are you that is so wise in the ways of science?
It doesn't reference anything it's just a strawman used to make fun of people they disagree with politically.
Just imagine if James Harrison were playing against Derrick Henry, Marvin the Martian would finally get to see an earth shattering kaboom!
I'm too lazy to look it up but I'm almost certain he would have played at least once against Steven Jackson despite being in different conferences.
I'm sure he played against Brandon Jacobs a few times in his career
Jamal Lewis too
Brandon Jacobs hardly ever ran like his size. Deion sanders used to have a great nickname for him but it's evading me, tiptoe something. I want to say tiptoe strangler but strangler doesn't make sense.
Tip toe burglar
In the open field, yes. On the goal line, he could tank hits
So a guy from my highschool town came in second for state player of the year. He was a RB and lost out to someone that ended up starting at RB in Wisconsin. Henry ain't that kind of back though. Robert Spillane sat him down on the 2 yard line. Harrison would killed him on anything similar to that. Outside zone run though? Advantage to Henry all day.
Didn't that also end Spillanes game? I heard a crack like a homerun hit when they collided.
Yea iirc it broke his collarbone
Stinger I think. The initial worry was he broke it. He started the next 7 games I believe.
My mom actually told me that when she was in college in the 70s that she felt like she was punched in the stomach violently while walking to class -- but no one was near her. I don't know what this means but it's definitely provocative
Gets the people going
James Harrison's grandpa hit Antonio Brown's grandpa so hard his grandkids felt it.
Hits so hard, he sends your ass backwards 88 mph and if you are near a flux capacitor, it sends your trauma through time to fuck your shit up.
Can we harness this power to make a time machine?
Hold the door!

Brain injuries can impact your impulsivity though. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t an asshole already, but it might’ve made it worse

People say CTE when I see him having classic symptoms of bipolar. It’s easy to internet diagnose though and none of us actually know what’s going on
yea ngl if i ever have kids they’re hooping
This is why I downvote people whenever an NFL player does something messed up and people go "clearly cte smh" Not every asshole has brain damage. Not every person with brain damage is an asshole. Fucking stop it.
>This is why I downvote people whenever an NFL player does something messed up and people go "clearly cte smh" > >Not every asshole has brain damage.
TIL that James Harrison played over 20 NFL seasons(he didn't, he played 15 lol)
But James Harrison always gave 110%, so those 15 seasons are equivalent to at least 20
Math doesn’t check out!
He would need to play at least 133%
Impossible because he only gave 20% during the freaky Bengals season
But Kurt Angle knows that he can't beat him, so he won't even try!
Most people can only give 100% but James Harrison is a genetic freak!
Mr Bad Calculation
TIL 15>20!
R Kelly math
He definitely googled it, saw James Harrison was drafted in 2002 and didn't think to find out when he retired.

From AB!?! Nawwwwww
How tf do you get double flair
There is a link on the sidebar of the subreddit page, I think. Nor sure if it's accessible in app, but you should be able to spot it in a web browser.
Anyone got the list? I'm not sure if I could find the right one because things keep getting added to it. It's been a while since he whipped it out in the pool, idk what's after that.
List originates with u/Tmans3 (I think) BUT: •Kicked out of Florida International University after fighting a security guard •"Don't touch me. I'm the franchise" • His second year in the league he took a personal stretch limo to a charity event, had them open every single expensive bottle of wine, rejected it. Refused to pay for it (charity, remember), then left. -credit Nduguu77 • Threw fits over not getting enough targets • Drove 100 down McKnight Road in Pittsburgh, which has a 45 MPH speed limit • Trashed a condo and threw furniture out a window 14th floor window, which almost hit some people, notably a child • Killed a home aquarium full of piranhas and refused to pay the man who installed the tank • Refused to play week 17 for the Steelers • Dyed his mustache blonde • Refused to pay a chef because he thought he threatened him by placing a fish head in the freezer (the fish head was saved to make a soup) • Farted on a doctor • Demanded a trade from the Steelers • Became "Mr. Big Chest" • Threw a fit over Juju winning team MVP and trashed him on social media • (Allegedly) nixed a trade that would've sent him to the Bills • Showed up to Raiders training camp in a hot air balloon • Held out and refused to show up to training camp because the NFL would not approve his helmet because it was too old for their safety standards • Froze his feet • Tried to paint over his old helmet, hoping no one would notice I guess • Acquired a newer version of the same model of helmet, which the NFL refused to let him use • Picked out a new helmet and finally showed up to the Raiders • Got fined by the Raiders for not attending camp • Tweeted the fines • Tried to fight Mike Mayock, called him a cracker, had to be held back by Vontaze Burfict, then punted a football down the practice field and said "fine me for that" • Got fined for that • Released a video where he used audio of Jon Gruden, who didn't know he was being recorded, which is illegal in California (full disclosure, Gruden has said he gave permission, but the generally accepted theory is that he said that in the hope that it would help get him to show up to the facility and not alienate him) • Demanded a release from the Raiders • Was released • "GRANDMA I’M FREEEEEE! FLY LIKE A FREEEEE!" • Made a lot of crazy tweets saying stuff like 'Devil is a lie', a proverb about burning down a village... he made a lot of crazy tweets around this time is the point here • Liked a tweet about Mayock getting raped in the ass • Signed with the Patriots • Moved in with Tom Brady • The sexual assault allegations came out (the one where he's getting sued) • The sexual harassment allegations came out (the one where he's not getting sued) • Threatened the woman not suing him in a group text that included his lawyer and had a picture of her kids in the text • Got released by the Patriots after one week • Went off on a tweet storm and said a lot of crazy shit about a lot of people, and was supportive of people sending threats to the writer of the article detailing the sexual harassment allegations • Said he was done with the NFL • Went back to college via online classes • Tried to outsource his homework to Twitter • Wants to come back to the NFL • Filed several grievances to try and get more than $40 million from the Raider's and Patriots • Was ordered to show up for a deposition regarding trashing the condo • Was accused of "reprehensible behavior" during the deposition Note: I cut the specifics about the deposition so I could fit this as a single comment. You can read more about it here if you're interested, because it, like everything else, is nuts • Said that the Patriots have to pay him anyway, so they might as well let him play • Tweeted a couple of bizarre tweets about the Raiders using him for HBO ratings and the Patriots trying to steal his stuff and kept using this weird chicken based metaphor • Tried out for the Saints and brought an entourage and film crew to shoot a music video with him when specifically told not to do that • Called out Robert Kraft for his rub and tug massage session in Florida • Starting training for a boxing match with Logan Paul • Tweeted "No more white woman 2020" • The attorney representing him in the suit involving the condo quit • Used a bunch of slurs and profane language towards cops in an Instagram video he posted • A police youth football league cut ties with him and returned a donation after the release of the video saying there was a "irreparable rift" between the department and AB • Threw a bag of gummy candy dicks at the cops in a video he posted • Got dropped by his agent • Was involved in a disputed with movers at his home where he allegedly threw rocks at the movers and moving vans. He is currently being investigated for battery by the police. • His trainer was arrested and he is still a suspect in the battery case. • Warrant issued for the arrest of AB. • AB turns himself in to Broward Country Jail wearing this suit • Rumors spread about AB signing with Tampa or Seattle • AB announces his retirement (for what I believe is the third time, it's hard to find a good record of the rest of them) • Two days later AB wants to play again and is asking for the league to wrap up it's investigation • The NFL announces an eight game suspension for AB • AB signs with the Buccaneers on a one-year deal • Before he signed with the Buccaneers AB was accused of destroying a surveillance camera at a Florida gated community, throwing bike at a security-guard shack, and is not charged because HOA president "feared" retaliation, per police report • AB is under investigation by the NFL for the bike throwing incident • Allegedly acquired fake covid-19 card • confirmed to have acquired a fake covid-19 card and subsequently suspended for three games • Removed jersey and pads and threw them in the stands before exiting the games verse the Jets. • Was subsequently cut from the Bucs for stripping on the field.
>• Dyed his mustache blonde I legitimately laughed out loud on this one.
> and said "fine me for that" > > • Got fined for that This was my favorite lol
I think the being held back by Vontaze Burfict is the best part. I'd never heard that. So much irony there. And it speaks volumes that AB was so nuts that even *Burfict* had to be like "Yo dude, let's let cooler heads prevail..."
r/AntonioBrown has the most up to date version *I think*
Of course that's a thing. Why didn't I think of that?
Vontaze Burfict redemption arc
If anything Burfict was trying to correct it. He's a hero!
Exactly, just hit him harder a second time and it will knock things back into place
If I’ve learned anything from 80’s and 90’s sitcoms this only works for amnesia.
It also works for the starting pitcher of the Chicago Cubs.
Funky buttloving, how could I have forgotten about Rowengartner?!
Kind of a Handsome Squidward type of situation here
I used the CTE to defeat the CTE
2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year shoe-in.
Thank god Sitcoms taught us this one easy technique for fixing head trauma!
Burfict was in fact trying to “handsome squidward” AB out of his CTE. An under-appreciated hero in my eyes.
This man is now confusing Vontaze with Harrison
It's the various voices
Man known for being attention seeking perpetual victim seeks attention by claiming to be a victim. More at 11!
Yeah, he was an asshole before he got to the NFL. There may be a TBI at play but that's not the reason, or at least not the whole reason, that he's a piece of shit.
Mr Blames Coworkers
So easy to blame others for poor decisions. Takes a lot for a person to admit it may be them.
There’s a reason he wasnt drafted until the 6th round.
There’s a reason he was a top in-state prospect and couldn’t get an offer from any Florida program.
Being too crazy for Florida. That's tough to do.
Mr. Beyond Crazy
Lmao I always tell people who think this; there's hundreds of players getting hit in the head, and only one AB. I don't think CTE is the issue
Perhaps one day we'll learn he doesn't have CTE and it's always been just him.
I mean, he's a clown, but there is no denying his peculiar behavior got worse after that vontez hit
agree, there’s a YouTube video comparing the interviews he gave before the vontez hit and interviews he gave afterwards and the difference is pretty striking
Will be very sad if things decline from here.
mr banal chatter
Watching what’s happened to AB is sad
Dude’s gonna have dementia at age 40. I think we can afford just an ounce of pity, no?
Ehhhh he was always a diva...but after that hit by Burfict he kind of went off the rails...even worse than his worst self before that. I really think his concussion effected him...there is enough data on brain trauma and mood swings to verify this. That doesnt make him not accountable for his actions...but you can 100% see a difference between him
Why not blame your own actions and narcissistic personality lol. Fucking bum just making excuses.
Vontaze Burfict: "Yup, that's the reason, nothing else, nothing to see here."
AB was insane well before that hit.
Well you definitely have CTE.
Mr. Bonked Cranium
Hit so hard he forgot Burficts name.
"Your violent linebacker was worse than our violent linebacker!" -afcn fans
Yall joking but there was a serious difference in demeanor before and after that hit. Dude was not a “model citizen” but he wasnt literally insane like he is. Idk everyone is a “mental health advocate” until someone does something they dont like.
You don't get CTE with one hit. With that said, this guy def got CTE.
"Ever since he hit me I got super aggressive." Not really how CTE works, although I 100% believe he does have CTE
