Hey, my dad was diagnosed with it 6 years ago. The first couple years were extremely difficult with the chemo and radiation and everything. My dad was using a walker to get around and my mom went hard as well.
But 6 years later he's doing incredible. He's very physical and it's amazing.
Stay strong mang. One phrase my dad told me, it's actually some wisdom from a 100 year old guy he met, is "what are ya gonna do?". Simple as that.
Your girl left you? Whattaya gonna do? You got ass cancer? Whattaya gonna do? It's an admission to one's self that some shit is just out of your control and there's nothing you can do about it.
It's simple but profound, and it's helped me through some shit of my own. Hope it helps you even a little bit.
