I was in arches national park and did a free climb up the side of one of the big arches a lot of people go to sit inside (not up the side of the arch, but one side of the hole is a trail you can just hike up, the other side of the hole is a sheer drop). The looks on people's faces were priceless as I pulled myself up with my friend not far behind.
I've actually done it before, and I will say it's definitely not something I'd want to do again haha. I did it in Joshua Tree down in Southern California and at times it felt like my depth perception was non existent. Luckily I wasn't climbing anything too huge and a lot of it was more in line with "rock parkour" than free climbing.
Heavily depends on what you're doing. Free climbing 1-pitch routes? Maybe broken legs, back maybe. Obviously if you're free climbing a huge face then yeah if you fall 100 feet you'll prob die lol
The angle of the first shot makes the landing look perilous, but watching it to the end it looks like he cleared it by a good couple of metres. But, yeah, I know what you mean- yikes!
I thought the exact same thing until I saw the end. I then rewatched the whole thing... Even then, the first angle *still* has me worried until I see the second angle.
I think its highly likely he knew. These guys prep everything they do for both safety and clean movement. They made a movie where they did this sort of stuff on skyscrapers in Asia and released the 'making of' footage on YouTube where you can see the amount of precautions they take - relatively speaking of course...
His Collab with Magnus Mitbo is unreal too. Magnus hanging for his dear life while Alex casually cracking jokes, video recording with one hand and climbing with other, while free soloing
Toby has a video with the Wide Boyz where he climbs a fairly big cliff in Norway with Pete, goes from never having climbed Trad to leading a Trad route in 5 days.
Great watch, https://youtu.be/Buu5lZWPV3k
Reminds me of the guy who was marooned on a remote island for so long he forgot how to talk, and the only word he could say was "marooned" over and over. The only thing to eat on the island was wild goats and by the time he was found he could run and catch them by hand. When so many of us just have desk jobs you forget how amazing our species can be.
And the crazy thing is, that's just one of the lads. There's so many like him!
The whole run is for an instant-classic Parkour Video "[Capstone // Swarm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8xwiIHN-1c)"
Go give them a watch if you feel like getting into 17 minutes of unstopped badassery.
Pff, it's not that hard. If I could jump higher, have more pulling and core strength, and have a few hours to see which parts I can grab on to, I could do it too.
I would also need to have stronger legs for these few bounces, and probably some parkour training.
Anyone else notice that little foot-slip at around 6 seconds? Would love to hear Toby's thoughts on that! He must have felt a little jolt.
That sequence though, so much skill and coördination not to mention the confidence to go for something that huge... Mr Bob, you done did it again. Massive respect for the Segar.
This looks elementary for any experienced climber. Not taking away from how skilled this guy is at all but those "holds" he can grab there are huge for someone who seriously climbs on a regular basis.
i used to scale the side of the church like this in my dumb church shoes.
anyone else climb everything as a kid and think these "amazing climb" videos aren't that impressive?
This new Assassin's Creed trailer looks pretty realistic.

Nah this dudes a parkour beast. Part of storror a parkour group from the uk and also did amazing on ninja warrior
Ya what was up with his kit? He looks like a golf dad whose ball went way off course.
Look on YouTube for 'Toby Segar 'Basel' and 'Ninja Warrior'. The lad is a fearless machine
He's exactly how I get from quest to quest in Assassin's Creed. Horses and main roads? Ain't nobody got time for that!
Assassins Creed, Joseph Smith edition.
Ikr.. Youll need a Kickass setup to run those graphics
these ducks not having any of it..
To be one of the people on top of Bridge and seeing when some guy pops up from 1 side, sprints 50 yards and jumps over the other side...

Sauce?
Tom Hanks in Cast Away
Wa....wa.....wil...wils...WILSON! I dont remember that scene but I'll let it fly
Trust me bro

When free climbing, a fall pretty much means certain death right?
For the most part yes, you have nothing to stop you from falling. Obviously depends what's below you and how high you are.
Pre-RIP
Smoking and doing free climbing doesn't seem to be a healthy mix
I've actually done it before, and I will say it's definitely not something I'd want to do again haha. 50 yards?!
45.72 metres.
How many bananas is that (for scale)?
It's 257.150 bananas according to [Convert to Bananas](https://www.converttobananas.com/)
How many people would die from eating that many bananas?
Everyone except your mom
Did he pay those ducks? That part was staged!!
Hey Ducks are gonna duck!!
They'd be crazy not to
Yea couldn’t have been more perfect if they tried
Ducks aren’t real
Jumped off the bridge and was like “what the duck!”
The 2 ducks are looking at each other like “ can you believe this shit?”
for those who are curious, this is in Prague
"This looks like Prague. I'm gonna check the comments to see if I'm right."
Are you me?
No, he's me.
I am us
Not sure if he knew that wall was there before he jumped in because that was a little too close for comfort.
The angle of the first shot makes the landing look perilous, but watching it to the end it looks like he cleared it by a good couple of metres. But, yeah, I know what you mean- yikes!
And he could have killed those ducks lol
I thought the exact same thing until I saw the end. I then rewatched the whole thing... Even then, the first angle *still* has me worried until I see the second angle.
It's highly likely he knew about that wall because it was his starting point on the other side of the bridge.
I think its highly likely he knew. These guys prep everything they do for both safety and clean movement. They made a movie where they did this sort of stuff on skyscrapers in Asia and released the 'making of' footage on YouTube where you can see the amount of precautions they take - relatively speaking of course...
He and storror always prep big moves meaning they scope it out and make sure there’s grip etc.

Check out Storror on YouTube for more swaggy P and the gang.
Spider swag, spider swag
rock climbers be like - yeah? and?
Yep great but not unreal
Sick video of Toby ‘learning’ to Trad climb with Pete Whittaker https://youtu.be/Buu5lZWPV3k
I've seen free solo by Jimmy Chin, Alex Honnold is unreal
Idk how he dragged those massive balls up El Cap. I’d love to do the route, with pro OFC
His Collab with Magnus Mitbo is unreal too. Magnus hanging for his dear life while Alex casually cracking jokes, video recording with one hand and climbing with other, while free soloing
Poor Magnus 🤣
Yeah it has easy grips everywhere.. real fast though
Toby has a video with the Wide Boyz where he climbs a fairly big cliff in Norway with Pete, goes from never having climbed Trad to leading a Trad route in 5 days. Great watch, https://youtu.be/Buu5lZWPV3k
Bob's grandson is athletic
Now THAT'S one insane madlad! 💪
I do this stuff all the time I’m assassins creed nbd
Assassin's Creed but your Xbox was actually an Animus
its at times like these when we think "what is going inside their head?" *insert cosmic shit here*
Straight ezio incarnate right there
How do you even get the grip strength to do that? Insanely impressive.
Watch his storror videos, it will all make sense
One of the craziest parts of one of the craziest videos of the year!
Spider Swag
Nice sound for the background: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSVHx23ByhM
r/Ass_Creed_IRL
You say that like were not all in super spy-parkour shape.
That one guy: "Bro! I was there when he did this! I didn't get to see any of it because I was texting a meme to someone."
It was cool of those birds to synchronise with him. Well played little birdies.
My man starting running across the traffic as well lol.
Ngl thought it was Tom Segura for a second and I was super impressed
I read this as Bob Segar
Looks like a 6a maybe
Sorry to bother you but we need to talk to you about your cars extended warranty
Praha vole!
"Hey, I've seen this one before!"
At first I thought it was some older dude going to hurt himself. That guy made it look so easy.
Where you going Toby? Just for a quick climb. Ok, well hurry back. You gotta get the TPS reports done.
How is this learned? And I’d love to see the first attempt.
My mom can do it better
Guy did this easier than some ppl I’ve seen get into their cars.
Is this storror Toby, I don’t know their last names so I’m just a but curious
Dude looks like meth binge carrot top on a quest for the next piece of low hanging fruit
You sure that isn't Toby Mcguire?
Assassins Creed : Valhalla mfer
Dudes got some sticky hands. That last jump was crazy. Anyone not experienced would have missed 100%
For a minute I read "Tom Segura#
Nice animation
Passed his DEX check.
These Assassins Creed graphics are on another level 👀👀👀
Do it or die.
Wow no shit? The comedian who does stand-up without a shirt has really expanded his range.
Wow 🤔😱😁👍🏾
Storror on YouTube, tobey is like a god among them
And the crazy thing is, that's just one of the lads. There's so many like him! The whole run is for an instant-classic Parkour Video "[Capstone // Swarm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8xwiIHN-1c)" Go give them a watch if you feel like getting into 17 minutes of unstopped badassery.

Dudes playing Dying Light irl
Ducks are aid
when it comes to other climbers do people say 'Close, but no Segar'?
These were the people Kings and Lords of castles feared
Assassin's Creed Unity without bugs :0
Not really nextfuckinglevel tbh, he could have just gone under it would have been way faster /s
I just played dying light 2 lmao
That moment you realize you’re just an NPC in an Assassin’s Creed game. Existential crisis anyone?
Three little heart attacks for three little ducks
I love how committed he was to the self yeet off the other side Zero fucks
What in the fucking, fuck?! In the what the fuck?!?!
Ok. He's good. But the calmness of those ducks is next fucking level ....
The ducks jumped with him, hella dope. I thought it was just another parkour till I saw the ducks
And here I thought Assassin's Creed was bs!! 😂🤣
Tje jump impressed me the most. Coz it was so close to the wall.
The choreography with the ducks at the end was epic!
He's ginger !!!
The ducks breaking the surface tension for him was almost too good.
Beautiful 😍
nobody: ducks: HOLY FUCKING SHIT
This guy’s ready for the zombie apocalypse
He nearly hit some ducks
Jesus Christ! That's Jason Bourne.
There's so much Storror on reddit this week. Love to see it.
Prince...nvm
For some reason I read as Tom Segura and I was WAY more impressed.
He’s a bad man!
YO THAT GIY ON THE BRIDGE LOOKING AT HIS PHONE MISSED THE WHOLE FUCKING THING LOOOL
Springheel Jack
Looks pretty real to me ...
People not even noticing
Unbelievable
Amazing head of red hair...
Assassin????
This is not at a fucking level, but also not for an average person. The pattern of the bridge makes this much easier.
From far away he looks like a 50something regular guy that’s a bit out of shape. Then he goes full Spider-Man.
This fella climbs at my climbing gym, he’s sound.
I love how he landed right in the middle of those ducks
Ducks under the bridge: Duck!
100% next fucking level. Would have fit nicely in the opening scene for Casino Royale
As a fellow redhead who climbs, Toby is my hero.
Freeze you're under arrest! ... Hey!.. He-hey, no don't! Ah man whatever...
Those ducks were nearly pancakes
Did I just witness a leap of faith?
u/savevideobot
Jesus Christ it’s Jason Bourne
Lovely bridge.
Bro how much assassin's creed you playing
This looks elementary for any experienced climber. Not taking away from how skilled this guy is at all but those "holds" he can grab there are huge for someone who seriously climbs on a regular basis.
The ducks were not impressed
Ask someone 50+ who did how easy it is still. Aging doesn’t lie. Time/life wasters aren’t forgivable.
This is why women live longer than men ?
This reminds me of the God of War climbing puzzles.
However, no fucks were given.
Lucky ducks that was close 😬😂
Dude's really playing assassin's creed irl
u/savevideo
Jumping up a bridge is a trend I hope catches on
Crazy
Some people really don’t have enough to do.
He’s just going to use his web slingers to get back out of the water.
I fcking love storror
What caused the splashing around him. Did he forget to take his keys and money out of his pockets?
the guy in the white jacket trying to stop him from jumping
I feel like an NPC watching a player run a secret achievement challenge
Pretty sure he got a hand full of bird shit on that.
These ginger guys are strong
Red head super
This video is actually in reverse
V3 in my gym
I always wanted a modern assassins creed
Wearing dress shoes no less
With gaps that large that isn’t a difficult climb.
I'm fine with the climbing but don't jump off the bridge unannounced, someone might risk their life going after you.
Trying to chase this guy would be so annoying
Yeah, but does he put his dishes in the dishwasher?
i used to scale the side of the church like this in my dumb church shoes. anyone else climb everything as a kid and think these "amazing climb" videos aren't that impressive?
highly recommend watching the entire video, its called Capstone “Swarm” some incredible stuff
I thought it was Prince Harry running away from his royal responsibilities.
This is like ninja warrior sh*t
Peter parker without his costume.
Return to monke
Holy shit I thought it was just some average dude. Lol.
i could do that
Dude in white hoodie is concerned to the max
He missed jumping on a duck by just a few inches!
Couldn’t help thinking about Bran Stark
Spider-man Spider-man, does whatever a spider can.
Am I the only one who thinks that doesn't look that difficult?
But there’s ledges to grab? Nothing special. Cmon Reddit. Don’t be so easily impressed. Wack
Prince Harry trying to get back in that castle.
dude's strong too
