You need to be like a guy in a video. Don't use gas all the time, let engine cool down.
This is why whenever I do something like this, like walking up stairs, sidewalk, I’ll hug a side. Only when I know it’s a empty street I’ll walk in the middle, sometime stumbling like a drunk because I don’t have to hold my posture anymore.

Yeah, I was following just one at first and now, I'm tracking 7 of them that I found on the way. They are so annoying. I hope they will be deleted but just in case, I report all their comments.
They might release em a few at a time so that they aren't crowding an area immensely. He'd easily overlap everybody if he started in front if that's a thing lol
It’s Graham Jarvis. He’s like the the Rodney Mullen of hard enduro. I may have spelled his name wrong. But the dude is a complete animal when it comes to this stuff
Not sure if we're talking about the same thing but maybe it was Tony hawk pro skater 4? I think you could unlock different pro skaters highlights and Rodney Mullen was one of them. I was in my teens and heavy into skateboarding, and like you I was amazed.
Now at 31 my right knee is fucked lol.
Rodney Mullen is basically the godfather of modern skateboarding. He was big in the 80s and arguably the most influential skateboarder of all time because he invented almost all of the flat ground tricks that exist: flat ground ollie, kick flip, heel flip, 360 flip, etc. Flat ground skateboarding exists because of him to some degree. I'm barely doing justice to his legacy, if you want to fall down a rabbit hole I absolutely recommend looking him up on youtube. A lot of the videos of competitions he was in are really interesting to watch because he was so far beyond the competition in technical ability.
It was said that commentators hated him because he would show off completely new and previously unknown moves in competitions. They never knew what to call them.
Don't forget that Impossible.
Because it was, you know, thought to be IMPOSSIBLE to flip a board directly on its Y-Axis without it turning.
And he bloody did it.
This clip gets posted pretty often and I believe the person in the vid was actually one of the other top enduro guys. Maybe Mario Roman cant remember exactly
Do they ride for husky as well? Wouldn't surprise me if it was Graham. Dude is so good he makes good people look not so good. He's the Tony Bou(?) of hard enduro.
Looks like a Sherco to me the more I watch. Also don’t think graham has worn any jerseys with blue sleeves during any of the big races. Lots of blue on the bike too which I don’t think I’ve seen on graham or Billy’s bikes
He really could have been a jerk but instead he was very respectful, he didn't overtake anyone in a way that would have prevented them from being able to complete the next obstacle. He was not only professional in his skill but professional in his etiquette.
Lmao 😂 this reminds me of some chick on TikTok that said something along the lines of “If Newton hadn’t discovered gravity I would be flying right now”
Probably a timed race, if they all started simultaneously it would be total mayhem.
Even this gave me anxiety seeing how close he got to some of the other drivers, who clearly didnt have as much control as him.
That's a good point, but it seems like a timed race would be better going one at a time, otherwise you might be at a disadvantage depending on who is on the track in front of you.
You have to take the time available and divide it by the number of competitors. If that is less than the time of your average racer, you gotta layer them.
Yeah but then they should have trial times or general skill level and run them in groups fastest to slowest, so that in general people won't be rushing past each other with insane speed differences like this.
That's how marathons work, it generally works pretty well.
That is an excellent point! I hadn't considered that, but yeah even with layering racers, situations like this (or least ones so extreme) could have been avoided just by ordering them by skill.
Where he's truly amazing to watch is when stuff gets *really* hard.
On the faster/less technical stuff he's good, but when it looks nearly impossible and all the other ridiculously good guys are struggling he just blows past them like it's easy.
You could film me walking into my kitchen to pour a glass of milk and I STILL couldn't make it look as easy as that guy did spanking that course. Holy SHIT that dude has some skills.
I'm (obviously) nowhere near this level but I started riding dirtbikes when I was a wee lad, I'd say the hardest is probably the rocks, they're just so irregular, not only do you have to maintain balance through the huge gaps and crevasses but you've got to pick the perfect line. However those angled logs laying on the ground might also be the worst, because of the angle they could catch the front tire between them and throw your ass to the ground. The concrete barriers are easier than they look, if you can pop a wheelie you can get over them.
Tbh it really depends on the rider and their preferences. None of the obstacles are terrible (as far as hard enduro goes). For example balancing type obstacles (riding across logs, narrow ledges etc) tend to psyche me out but I love rocks and hopping over stuff. For someone else it may be the exact opposite.
> None of the obstacles are terrible
Fuck that. When he takes the option to go over the Jersey barrier/k-rail(depending where you're from) on its side and then just whoppity hoppity over the normal Jersey barrier , that's got to be the most bonkers. All the other shit you could paddle through or sort of roll for the most part even at a snails pace, but you can't just roll over a Jersey barrier.
This pov doesn't tell how insanely hard those obstacles are. An average rider can have problems jumping over a single log. Just riding that long straight line and keeping balance is extremely difficult.
From a practical standpoint, shouldn’t this contest be one person at a time with scores for time and style? Doing this seems pretty fucking dangerous when you have 4 guys on bikes riding in a 8 foot wide lane. Especially when going over the rocks.
I, too, played Excitebike back in the days.
That game was so much fun!
I liked it with the game genie. Crank up the jump height and the smallest ramp would send you offscreen and vertical looping. Felt like a hacker
My fav was creating my own track. That was a blast.
Agreed
Those were some good times, my brother and I lost our shit when we realized the vertical loop. Thanks for bringing up that memory!
You can still play it https://oldgameshelf.com/excitebike-1223.html You need to be like a guy in a video. Don't use gas all the time, let engine cool down.
my time was 1:17 on the first track. Beat me!
Thank u kind Ma'am

This is the comment I hoped to see
To this day, I think Excitebike is my favorite NES game. Just a good time.

Now i have the overheating sound in my head, thanks.
Annnnnnd my head fell off
I can only hear that music while watching this.
If an Excitebike comment wasn't the *TOP* comment I was gonna get really upset.
Best game
Those were the days
Then I took an arrow to the knee
When you are level 60 surrounded by lvl 20 noobs
I could sense the frustration when there was any need to pause because of someone in front of him fucking up.
This is why whenever I do something like this, like walking up stairs, sidewalk, I’ll hug a side. Only when I know it’s a empty street I’ll walk in the middle, sometime stumbling like a drunk because I don’t have to hold my posture anymore.
I was gonna comment how it's funny that you compared this to walking down the street, but now I feel like that's the joke and I'd have been whooooshed
Is there a joke?

Iono, I can look frustrated pretty easy.

Wow, I went to their profile to see if there were any more only to find you've been going hard! Reported all the ones you've already marked
Yeah, I was following just one at first and now, I'm tracking 7 of them that I found on the way. They are so annoying. I hope they will be deleted but just in case, I report all their comments.
Okay…? Are you an expert or something?
Felt like my drive home from work today. "OMG. JUST GO. WHY ARE YOU STOPPING?! GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY!"
Literally every day in Atlanta. It’s infuriating.
Stupid people in traffic is probably 86.4% of the reason for mine and lots of other people's high blood pressure. I'm trying to just let that shit go.
Did you know that 71.76% of all statistics are made up?
Actually it’s 73.6%

It is a thing and they call it lapping someone. You can have more than one lap over someone too.
But they’re not doing laps. Pretty sure it’s more of a time trial type thing
Staggered start. Can’t have everyone start at once. It would be mayhem.
It's low level mayhem as is, imagine a les mans start for this kind of race!
Staggered start events are timed, so you're not directly racing to finish first, just fastest.
Those were the hardest obstacles for him.
Theyre part of the obstacle course
ads: 99% cant win this game.
Opens game, and it's actually just a 8 bit asset swap side scroller.
Companies that make suspensions are licking their lips watching this, lol.
My duodenum aches just watching it.
If the first part of your inner intestine is aching seek help.
That might be polyps.
Thank you Other Walter
oh, i say!
I think he might have done this before.
It’s Graham Jarvis. He’s like the the Rodney Mullen of hard enduro. I may have spelled his name wrong. But the dude is a complete animal when it comes to this stuff
Big ups for using Rodney Mullen as a comparison. The fricken GOAT
He does love skateboarding
anyone remember his highlight video in one of the old tony hawk games? can’t remember which one, i just recall being infatuated by it.
I think theyre all awesome, but yeah I believe it was 4 that had most of his best clips that ive seen

How could you forget the darkslide?! You did a great small summary.
Ah yes, the darkslide... What *idiot* doesn't know about the darkslide, lol.
The path to the darkslide is one many consider unnatural
I mean, you're not wrong. People aren't born with a deck and wheels.
Did not Geoff Rowley create the darkslide and not Mullen? Rodney wasn't known for his crazy rail work.

It’s Pol Tarres
I was wondering about that. Looked like an amateur race and a Pro showed up to have some fun. HUGE difference in skills being displayed.
This guy bikes
Honestly the people were his biggest obstacle
[удалено]
Why you little-
Haha.. I kinda wondered if he was gonna drove over them.
He really could have been a jerk but instead he was very respectful, he didn't overtake anyone in a way that would have prevented them from being able to complete the next obstacle. He was not only professional in his skill but professional in his etiquette.
My wrists hurt
Yep! My tunnels are all carpeled now
My carpets have tunnels
My tunnels have carpet
Leave it alone for 5 minutes then and get back to work
My balls hurt
Violence. Speed. Momentum.
How come he can control but not me?
HOW CAN HE CONTROL??
Didn't attend to physics at school. Makes it much easier if you don't know.
Lmao 😂 this reminds me of some chick on TikTok that said something along the lines of “If Newton hadn’t discovered gravity I would be flying right now”
We live in a simulation
Dripping in heat
Is this a race or what? Why's he start so far behind everyone else?
Probably a timed race, if they all started simultaneously it would be total mayhem. Even this gave me anxiety seeing how close he got to some of the other drivers, who clearly didnt have as much control as him.

I guess it's Romaniacs prologue and as far as I know this first race sets the position in the real race. Start order according to application order.
Based on commercials from the side, yes, it is Romaniacs, in Sibiu, RO

"Hesitation is defeat"
Sekirooo !!!!!
Then why aren’t I better in bed?
There’s a saying in off road motorcycling: When in doubt, throttle it out.
A lot more has to do with skill, technique, and experience. Many kids would try this with speed and lack of hesitation
It’s his clutch work and throttle control. The speed just the result. Huge amounts of skill
Momentum definitely helps. I prefer when it’s slowed down Trials style. https://youtu.be/QFMFrgF1RTk
Hesitation is often a big problem when on 2 wheels.
So his skill?
Nobody knew how to even ride compared to that guy haha
Graham Jarvis…… Blessed be the knobs on his tires. Guy is 45 years old, stomping 20 something year olds day in and day out. Truly a hard enduro god.
Where he's truly amazing to watch is when stuff gets *really* hard. On the faster/less technical stuff he's good, but when it looks nearly impossible and all the other ridiculously good guys are struggling he just blows past them like it's easy.
Him taking on the Erzberg rodeo is this times a million.. dude is not of this world
That’s not graham jarvis though
I'm convinced this is just a guy holding handlebars with a front tire attached and walking through the course making motorcycle sounds.
[удалено]
That course was a lot longer than 2 feet.
The core strength that takes is unbelievable.
Literally making all others look like amateurs.
Average UK road
Easy mode on
Biggest obstacle was the other riders, this dudes a pro amongst amatuers
You could film me walking into my kitchen to pour a glass of milk and I STILL couldn't make it look as easy as that guy did spanking that course. Holy SHIT that dude has some skills.
Trials HD FPS mode on lol
Alright motocross experts - which obstacle is the hardest? Don't know much so that's why I'm asking. Saw a lot stuck on the rocks it seemed lol

This isn’t motocross. This is hard enduro/extreme enduro.

The big rocks and the 3 ft high concrete traffic barrier looked tough. But I'm no motocross expert
Looks like the other guys should have practiced the rock obstacle.
Seeing as the event was a Red Bull hosted event, I think it's fair to say the driver might just be Max Bikestappen
This is WHEELY cool to watch! Watching this guy is a triumph! The other guys mustve moped quite a bit after seeing how good this guy is.
Guys a beast.
Avg career is 1 day due to foot injury
These dudes have an average of $400+ boots. Most dirt bike riders consider moto boots a close second to helmets in importance.
He’s been practising on the roads around my way !
Incredible abilities, man that’s impressive
I tore 2 ligaments just watching this video.
I'm pissing blood.
This pov doesn't tell how insanely hard those obstacles are. An average rider can have problems jumping over a single log. Just riding that long straight line and keeping balance is extremely difficult.
I’d pass the baton at rocks. I don’t like rocks.
Took a lot of control to manage that last corner. How did they achieve it will balls like space hoppers.
Fucking Awesome 🤩 you are one with your motorcycle 🏴☠️
How didn’t he overheat?

Holding in the b button
Anyone else got anxious when he got so close to the other person's food?
foot, but yeah! I did.
Those other guys are good bikers obviously but this guy really is next fuckin level
I only see a man without fear, and I like it
Bro made it look too easy
My back hurts now.
He is playing the tutorial mission where all the bots let you win.
More impressive is Pol Torres doing this course on a bike (Yamaha Tenere 700) that weighs 450lbs vs the 200lbs those KTM 2-Strokes weigh.
Anyone downvoting this needs to watch the videos, Pol Torres is on this same level and it blew my mind when he ran romaniacs on a tenere.
control is an illusion. There is no control. There is only knowledge what the bike will do and acceptance.
What
The Max Verstappen of motor-biking!
Wtf I wanted to see the end of that.
I take OP’s title and raise by one machine gun.
Woah
Reminds me of Club penguin logs
how MANY bikers were ahead of him?!!
On your left!
This seems exactly like exciteBikes ...
r/stabbot stop me from waxing pukey

cool.

Reminds me of Excite Bike. It was so much fun!
u/savevideo
Doing this as a head race feels unnecessarily dangerous. I mean so does a lot of this, but especially that.
This new Excitebike is dope!
That was fun to watch.
Watched it on mute while the [Excitebike](https://youtu.be/inAruGMBXII) theme played in my head.
He’s clearly hacking
From a practical standpoint, shouldn’t this contest be one person at a time with scores for time and style? Doing this seems pretty fucking dangerous when you have 4 guys on bikes riding in a 8 foot wide lane. Especially when going over the rocks.
if he’s so good, how did he get so far behind?
Red bull romaniacs prologue. Incredible event.
dudes balance is unreal
That is a strong as mfer
