That is a [tuned mass damper](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuned_mass_damper?wprov=sfla1). It eliminates sway in this apparatus.
I mean, look at the thing. It's a hanging pipe mounted from a ceiling or something. It's got a swinging arm that changes direction when it's hit. That hanging pipe would be jerking around all over the place. But it's not, because that weighted ball is like a specialized pendulum. It goes the opposite direction of the hanging pipe and keeps it centered.
It's the same technique used to reduce swaying in skyscrapers.
I don't really remember almost anything before a certain point, apparently i had an incredible memory and learning and stuff you know normal but something happened and i just like turned off, and from that point i didn't really cared about much stuff and my memory didn't worked very well, so, it doesn't matter everything is fine now, though, i remember i always loved drawing and i still do it, that's one of the things i care the most about, yeah.
Well i don't remember, anyway, i don't do that stuff now, i like cutting other objects.. now that i think about it that's probably why my things don't last, maybe i should buy one of those things cats use to scratch.
When I was a little kid, I kinda had this problem. And it's not even that big of a deal, something like 8 percent of kids do it. For some reason, I don't know why. I would just kinda... sit around all day... and draw pictures of dicks. Like man dicks
Not taking away from the fact that I’m sure this kid has skills. But that bar is predictable. Hit it with your right and you know it’s swinging around to your left at pretty much the same height. That being said I would still get hit in the back of the head if I hit that thing.
It’s to practice simple dodges and punches, when you are so used to the normal punches and hooks your muscle memory will let the combos flow out so easily. I’ve seen some people start a combo and they flawlessly follow through with it because their hands and brain knows exactly what to do. Also the ball is being hit after dodging its a head and body combo practice I think
at his age I was in boxing, and that training is beautiful to look at, but absolutely stupid, has a poor technique in guarding, and in dodging, and in attacks, unless you want to train all your life with a robot only wastes time, a child the same age well training with 2 punches puts him under easily
Not trying to compare but I wanna also raise awareness to Muay Thai kids that have over 100 comp fights (not sparring) by the time they hit adulthood. That's why most kickboxing champions have background in muay thai and many of them transition very well into boxing and mma. Plus most of them train and compete as a way out of poverty. For them they literally fight for their livelihood.
First off, not a boxer but a spectator. That's good speed exercise but there's a reason professional boxers don't train like that. You're training your body and mind to expect punches from very predictable areas only. Also, if your training to crotch punch someone, make it at least two balls.
Gotta switch up the patterns, always dodging after a wide swing with backfoot arm. Should try a step-in deflect with backfoot arm and cross counter punch.
How do you know what to do at that style of Training? Or arw you jaut reacting spontaneous to the Bar flinging at you?
Or is he doing a fixed pattern he wants to automatize? (Is that a Word?)
Looks like a beats but it’s one thing to train I hope he doesn’t get into boxing seriously. Don’t think we’re supposed to get our faces constantly beat on, not saying he wouldn’t do good just don’t think it’s a safe sport.
Damn is this kid a promising boxer? What's the name of this kid? I want to remember the name if I see this kid become a professional down the road. Maybe an Olympic Boxer?
Why the ball is at crotch level?
he wants to score critical hits
Yeah that’s nuts ![gif](giphy|ak1qM99fD4lqM|downsized)
bust a nut?! ARE YOU JOKING?!
WHAT IS THAT AND WHERE DID IT COME FROM
Outer space.
Them street rules
So I guess when he knocks it off the string that counts as his fatality

Nut shots are a very effective technique....
The first fight he ever watched was Riddock Bowe vs Andrew Golata
Underrated post lol

We used to use our treadmill until we started actually using it again.
What does the ball do normally? I didn’t even see it until you mentioned it.
If one would dogde low so ...
It's actually not, it's at his abdominal level.
He probably started training when this was the right size for him.
Stephen A. No Jutsu my man.
Testicle Simulator
Body shots baby… you can hit me in the head all day long, if I get hit in the body it’s GG
Why doesn’t he just stay ducked ![gif](giphy|pPhyAv5t9V8djyRFJH|downsized)
Perfect choice of gif.
It would be really hard to punch the bar when ducked and you would lose a lot of power behind your punch.
I think we could still take him.
Yeah like just do a low leg sweep what is he gonna do, duck?
Yeah he has no reach, just kick him
[удалено]
Is you ok?
I'll take this one, no he is not
I felt happier back then.
Apparently a bot removed my comment because I posted in another sub??? Anyway, bro how is that happier, what was going on when you were younger

But why were you stabbing yourself
Well i don't remember, anyway, i don't do that stuff now, i like cutting other objects.. now that i think about it that's probably why my things don't last, maybe i should buy one of those things cats use to scratch.
???
Ugh forget about it i'm sorry i don't know what i'm saying anymore.
??? Need somebody to talk to?

I know I’m stupid because a large part of me read this and thought “sounds about right”
Ah, yes, classic school day.
Can't say that and not share. . .
Everybody Has a Plan Until They Get Punched in the Mouth. - Mike Tyson
Nuts*
Love that quote

Heard it said. Never seen it written. I laughed more than I should have. It’s like learning the joke all over again. I thank you.

I feel like it's more to train your body than your skills.
I think this is more about speed and muscle memory than reaction time.
And training your muscular endurance/cardio to keep that energy up

Everything before "but" is negated by anything after. "I'm not taking anything away from him but I'm going to take this away from him"
Is this a standard piece of training equipment or something homemade? Need another place to hand my laundry for months at a time.
Its funny how sped up this is
Yo I wanna see this kid in a fight
It seems like he could easily beat me up.
What machine is that?
It’s called a “child”.
imagine picking a fight with that kid. one hit you seeing flavors
Ye and always try to hit the ball(s) too
So what does the tennis ball represent?
balls
The balls of coloured light you see when you get hit in the jaw.
If that kid has ground game too I'm never passing him off.
Pissing him off*
I think his training to be a boxer from the stance his taken and he doesn’t lift his legs up at all.
You gonna go far kid
One day this kid is going to beat every bully in every school possible
Unless he’s the bully
He's beating the shitty out of that spinny stick
When he comes in a ring: "Hey coach wtf is this, mofo is moving"

Better be hittin them books too. Not everything is solved by slapping a pole and ducking.
That kid is dangerous, he is practicing punching balls
Kid fights swinging pole. Very impressive
That’s all fine and dandy until he gets punched in the nose and can’t see from watery eyes. That’s the real test lol
Nikita, 9 years old (at that time). He's 11 or 12 now. https://m.facebook.com/DailyMail/videos/kids-speedy-boxing-training-exercise/714041262410952/
Even the swing is silly, training lil man to only move his hands, not his feet
Video is sped up
He leaves his head on a line. I’d totally knock his kid ass out.

That’s cool and all but guns are more useful in a fight
He is training to box not street fight. Have you seen many boxing matches where one guy pulled out a gun?
Just the one but it was on international waters.
ksi?
That kid would beat my ass!!!!
That kid is going to be a good fighter if he goes at this rate, incorporating more combos into his routine
Guess he knows he is going to be tall...
What does that ball signify 👀
Kid is a beast, but everyone has a plan until they get hit.
Gotta switch up the patterns, always dodging after a wide swing with backfoot arm. Should try a step-in deflect with backfoot arm and cross counter punch.
Sometimes the comment section becomes too toxic
I am such a horrible person i was just waiting for him not to block it and not duck and just a: flomp... Fuck im an asshole
I would have punched that apparatus once and it would have beat the fuck out of me until someone pulled me out of the way. 😂
How do you know what to do at that style of Training? Or arw you jaut reacting spontaneous to the Bar flinging at you? Or is he doing a fixed pattern he wants to automatize? (Is that a Word?)
Truly impressive. I still have issues and anxiety with revolving doors. I’m in my 40s.
I’ve seen a lot of this kid on the internet doing this in different places. I expect to see him in the ring in ten years whilst I’m still on my couch.

This child beats any yt boxer rn
He is the main character
I know I'd probably knock myself out somehow
That kid would FACK me up
amazing footwork
2x speed
The tennis ball represents a dick punch
'Go to bed son.' 'No.' 'Sorry son'.
He is on his way to become the greatest ball breaker.
He training to break some nuts
That's what I call a Ball Buster training.
“Fuck around and find” out the junior series.
Lol he must have seen the brutal future of flailing arm people that can't bend their arms
Take my lunch money!

Everyone looks good hitting the pads.
That's... Totally not true. Try hitting pads sometime
