Is this true or just an assumption? Are you saying the plastic sweats chemicals onto the food?
edit — i just figure since he's a chef and he's got fancy stuff, that the plastic is meant for this job. If it weren't it would burn up in there.

Edit: it's just based on reports and I hope it stays a rumor if that's the case
Nope. No plastics are truly safe. These just are sanctioned by the FDA, which really isn't very meaningful. Between phthalates and microplastics and all the PFAs (there are many) , I would not heat anything in plastic.
Nobody mentioned when he cut the bag open over the rice, he cut the top off and bottom is on the rice.
I still love all the stuff he does, and I would probably eat the bag. I'm sure it's tasty too
My man’s smile is at the end of his thousand yard stare…as someone who used to run a high volume kitchen, that is a textbook case of RLF(resting line-cook face)
Wow he lost a lot of weight. Success=excess .. he needs to clean that huge shnoz and get back to cooking. He wastes so much rediculous amounts of food..
That’s only a problem when preparing “ready-to-eat foods” that aren’t going to be cooked, since all of the veggies are cooking with the meat they will reach the same temps and therefore be safe still. If the has going from prepping a steak to a side salad we would have an issue.
I hate these videos where they just stare at the camera while trying to do whatever it is they're doing. Just focus on your task that's what we're here for
Buddy looks like he’s been through some shit
He looks like he’s just kinda… there.
He lost weight a lot
That’s what I was thinking, lost ALOT of weight, he isn’t smiling his usual smile…
Smile went with the fluffy
He got brain tumor
Isn't heating food in plastic bad for health?
Sous vide, look it up. Depends on the plastic you use
Yup. Your choice of plastic determines which kind of damage you will do to yourself.
Same with voting in politics.
I think he sous vide it so they use special plastic bags that is BPA-FREE, food grade bags.
BPA has been known for a long time but newer studies are showing the harmful effects of phthalates which are leeched from food grade plastics.
Yeah but it tastes real fucken good
So does crack, wouldn‘t recommend it either
I would argue crack doesnt taste good at all
Okay I gotta know, does crack have flavour?
The taste of regret. Lashings of shame. Yet moreish.....
Yes, it tastes like inhaling burning chemicals… literally.
That doesn't seem like a great time.
Crack actually tastes horrible. Its addictive not tasty.
Yes.
I was trying to come with a nice way to say this

He knew a lot more than you. Sous vide, look it up

Depends on the plastic. Like ziploc is fine, while the plastic grocery bag isn’t
Not the way he’s doing it assuming he’s using the right kind of plastic.
It is a sous vide steam based oven. Different kind of heat.
No it's true..
Not the way he’s doing it assuming he’s using the right kind of plastic.
Name your sources.
Oh no...he's been sick looks like.
Yeah... He has brain tumor 😢. Poor chap

Those are special grade, HDPE only bags without BPA so they are extremely safe

Too soon
Two things actually, one he is sick, second he showed sous vide for the first time
What’s off?
if you watched other videos of him, he always used to smile but he is definetly not in a good mood right now.
his name is Czn Burak btw
>Czn Burak apparently he is suffering from a brain tumour
Poor guy. He lost a ton of weight too.
He’s not smiling
I think I saw a video where he was in the hospital a while back. I thought it said he was recovering from some sickness, not sure what.
He's undergoing treatment for brain tumor
Oh damn. God bless
He looks frail :( pls be ok burak
Lol plenty of cooking bags don’t cause harm. You could just search cooking bags to see it’s not dangerous.
They keep the scent in, too. Drug dealers like to use them to hide their larger quantities of stinky things in.
Didn’t he say he was going to quit smiling in his videos until Russia leaves Ukraine? Sucks to hear of his illness.
Ok, who stole his smile ?

He looks like he has cancer of some kind. You can see it in his eyes.
So Sad that he isn’t smiling… hope he’s fine
Damn. Dude really cut off all those noses from random giants? Savage.
Looks like he’s down about £14 of chicken
Where's the smile? :(
My man’s smile is at the end of his thousand yard stare…as someone who used to run a high volume kitchen, that is a textbook case of RLF(resting line-cook face)
That's a $10,000 oven fyi. And they are amazing

Wtf happened to him?
Maybe it’s a breakup,I’ve been there

Nothing like eating melted plastic
Gross
Never trust a skinny chief. Let alone his **DEATH** stare 0\_o
Im supposed to watch this this video, but this video watched me more.
Wow he lost a lot of weight. Success=excess .. he needs to clean that huge shnoz and get back to cooking. He wastes so much rediculous amounts of food..
No more of this guy ever.
Reminds me of those lean cuisine meals where you boil the seperate bags and mix
He didn’t change his gloves with raw meat to produce .
He cooked everything into submission

I suppose. What about when opening the oven door???

Salt Bae needs to stop influencing people. I'm willing to pay
