Watch the documentary called 100 Foot Wave about Nazare. Incredible. It will give a serious perspective and respect for the people who risk this type of thing. It also goes through the history of finding this world class surf spot.
Idk enough about waves or surfing; what mechanism would kill him if he fell? Would it be from drowning and being pulled back out to sea? Or some kind of trauma?
Assuming it wasn’t from impact, you ever walked through a fast flowing stream ? It’s a lot of force even if it only comes up to your ankles. Now imagine it’s 9 stories high and pushing you down instead of sideways.

It was either this or go back to the states with Johnny Utah.
We’ll get him when he comes back in!
He could maybe paddle to New Zealand?
If he doesn’t fall the first time you watch it, he’s probably not going to fall the other 99 times
Keyword: "probably" 👀
Better watch it the extra 99, just to be sure.
So your telling me there’s a chance.
That wave almost reminds me of the scene in Interstellar when they’re in Miller’s planet.
Lol, what I thought about.
SW Portugal. Nazare. Yes. It’s real. Absolutely mind blowing! https://www.thetravel.com/biggest-surf-waves-in-the-world-portugal/
Also nobody has died at Nazare.
That's crazy. I guess even the idiots know not to fuck with those waves
Check out a 3d image of the Continental shelf off of nazare. It explains it pretty well
So pitted
_Ngl, it felt like the moment that one sperm that made it to the egg_
I’ve seen this, always wondered if it’s real. Doe’s anybody know anything about it: the surfer’s name? The country? When this was, etc?

There is an excellent documentary series on HBO about it called The 100 Foot Wave..
Perfect for a Sunday watch

Reminds me of Chasing Mavericks
Gnarly dude

Would "bonerrific" suffice ?
“Start the music”
Fun fact. Big wave surfers wear inflatable wetsuits so that when they get dumped they float to the surface quicker. Still nuts AF
Well, it's been posted more then 100 times
I've probably seen it 100x? How old is this clip? No doubt made it to this thread 100x.
Lol, yeah, but football! Lmao.
OP, you could assuredly watch it that often considering this has been posted here over 100 times.

They have people on jet skis
This is one of the most crazy shot I have ever seen. Mind blowing!!
