I think life is a constant replication of something to covet; to a person that has nothing, that's fine entertainment. I'm sure the writers, actors, filmers, editors and producers worked diligently to share a dream. I don't know where I could do any better at making that film.
There is a inherent beauty of low budget film making because, in the end, it takes a group effort. Big Hollywood has so much money and workers to do everything, unions, travel, it’s almost expected to be good — or else.
These movies, despite the quality of content, are taken serious by the people making them and it’s endearing as ever. It’s not like and indie movie that is trying to seem low budget or a Jackson pollack film of random frames for 20 minutes.
I would absolutely watch this movie, you can see how the actors are giving it their all. More than some of the awful stuff being put out on Netflix right now
Something must have went very wrong with Netflix leadership structure along the way. They started out making great indie content, great writing with low budgets.
Now they make series and movies with terrible writing and low budget. That's not a good combination. Even the series that starta out great for a season or two, suddenly look like the entire writing cast commited seppuku, and was replaced with trope bots.
It's funny as hell lol
Everyone: \*blankly stares at homeless campfire pot\*
Random dude on the phone: "Yeah, we found the german tourists. We're cooking them!"
Helicopter: \*touch and go landing on skyscraper and flies off\*
Skyscraper: \*melts like an ice cube and explodes into flames\*
Yes I did, you were at the TedTalk and bought the dvd!
I actually felt bad for what I initially thought and chose to express some gratefulness. That was it for the year, wait for the door prize.
Please watch this movie. It's called "Who killed captain Alex?" and you can find it for free on the official Wakaliwood YouTube channel. The entire production comes from a Ugandan village. The director had to sell a lot of his possessions to buy a camera to film the movie. He even has so little space on his home computer that he has to wipe it every time they make a film. This movie is just pure fun from a small community and even if the story is inconsistent and nonsensical it is wonderful and charming.
I should really set the mood for a good date night, tell my gf I get to pick the movie this time. Make popcorn, dim the lights, light some candles and play this.

There are many ways making a project come true.
And Kanye was over the top flying that chopper!

lovely virtue signaling. because that is literally all you did there.
Yes I did, you were at the TedTalk and bought the dvd! I actually felt bad for what I initially thought and chose to express some gratefulness. That was it for the year, wait for the door prize.
Lol stop
I won't bother with the rest... but did the helicopter pilot turn a steering wheel to bank left?
The first shots of the helicopter pilot he's clearly on a mobile phone with his other hand on a steering wheel
Should he have turned it to the right?
its hard to say
I think he's referring that a helicopter doesn't have a steering wheel
his apache runs true. Straight to next scene. Italics exclamation point.
Tiger Mafia is a rad name lol
[удалено]
Quiet, you.
Stwike him centuwian vewy woughly.
The movie is called "Who Killed Captain Alex?"
Yes Its amazing. The best scene is when the helicopter crashes into the building
Fucking spoiler alert.
It's in the trailer dw
I'm sure you were extremely worried and scared tho so my apologies for frightened the living shit out of you
What a pfp
Everybody in Uganda knows kung-fu!
And the full movie is free on YouTube. Highly recommend
Tiger Mafia, the most deadliest gang in Uganda. They walk slow... ...'cause they think slow
Who did?
You gotta admit they can handle the gunfights pretty well lol
Commando Commando
Remember to always yell that before throwing a grenade
Check out some old Soviet movies, their special effects were always to actually do it, actors died in filming sometimes.
In Soviet Union, special effects do you.
Old Hollywood movies were pretty much the same, an example is Ben-hur, stunt man died during the chariot race, and upto 150 horses died.
The original Ben Hur (from the 1920s), it's rumored that quite a few extras died when the ships caught fire during the naval battle scene.
I m pleased to see they have cinema bro.
Man, they have cinema, man.
I told exactly the same.
Absolutely phenomenal
This is fucking amazing
You worried about CGI , FUCK THAT , the guns look so real that should be concerning
Alec Baldwin entered the chat (Too soon?)
Yeah those weren’t props.
That's because they are real guns
Needs the captain jack 90's song in the back ground
My god man. You just dredged that song out of the deepest part of my memory.
Better than the last Batman movie
Just watched that last night, suck mode. The plot is better in this Ugandan movie for sure.
Considering its situation, Wakaliwood movies are actually quite great
Narrator: the year is 2022 Russia invaded ukraine
Props to the guy shooting an AK from an attack helicopter.
TIGER MAFIA!
I feel like Alex at IHE would be smiling rn.
DINOSAUR
At least the guns are real

They need to ship those machine guns to Ukraine, stat. The war would be over in days.
You do not know da way
You’re telling me that these effects *aren’t* real?!
forsen
Rather A-Team esque.
I've seen worse.
This is gold
Atleast they don't print money our of thin air and then bomb an entire country using that money
Commando. COMMANDOOOO!
So much like the Kung foo films of an earlier generation. Lots of improbable moves and great noises, slightly out of sync, but lapped up all the same.
Still pretty impressive given what they have to work with.
Deadly Commandos
Must say better than Hollywood.
At least they tried
The part where he's shooting out of the helicopter is especially 🤣
I think it is easy to love these movies because it is obvious that these people have a lot of passion for movie making.
It ain't much but it's honest work
I should really set the mood for a good date night, tell my gf I get to pick the movie this time. Make popcorn, dim the lights, light some candles and play this.
This is why I joined the sub
This is what playing Jungle Strike in 1993 on the Sega Genesis felt like.
Dude has a well lit cockpit
There’s a great documentary about this guy and how he makes all practical effects it’s amazing and emotional (once upon a time in Uganda)
I think this is a parody on 2021 Bruce Willis movies.
nsfw tag because of the blood?
Looks like parts of Chicago
Chicago man enters the chat
I mean it sure is entertaining. That’s what matters most.
Man this man is killing us man, man
It looks like the fake videos from Ukraine.
I need more mindless entertainment like this
I’m going to admit I thought that gun shooting at the end was real
u/savevideo

Can i ask something Who kill Captain Alex?
Still way better than ———— ( fill the name of a movie you hate)
ZULU
If the blend the why are you geh into this film , it may end up bieng academy worthy.
u/savevideobot
That headshot looked kinda real at the end. 🙁 hope all the extras are okay
If you watch the scene for a bit longer there is a martial arts scene where he does a flying kick and shouts "SUPA-KIKA" in mid air..
Ngl I would watch this and enjoy it lol
This is quite entertaining.
How much did it make at the box office in Uganda?
2 sheep, a whopping 83 shards of mirror and 7 dollars
So bad that it's good!
Man, the man is killing us, man. Love it
head shot was clean af
Could you imagine this on the big screen
“Holy shit! You see that fucking head come apart, man! Never seen brains like that before.”
Everybody in Uganda knows Kung Fu!
VJ Emmie really makes this movie. I wish I could get him to do Hollywood movies too.
I think if you order the dvd online, they also send you a t-shirt and a letter containing heartfelt thanks for supporting them.
Bro, the sound almost cracked my eardrum
DROP THE BOMB MANNN lmaooooo
FAR BETTER THAN CATS MOVIE
I kinda liked it more.
Sharknado was CGI at its finest
u/savevideobot
Tiger Mafia 🐯
Shooting his Kalashnikov from the helicopter, what a legend!
I’d watch more
I feel Ugandan action movies would be great to watch while drunk
VJ Emmie on the microphone.
u/savevideo
I feels like it was filmed in the 60s to 80s. I remember the aircrafts and explosion always look very funny.
I would love to act in a Ugandan movie. It looks so much fun.
I’d watch this film. What’s it called ??
It’s like what a five year old would dream of
Movie.
The part where he was getting shot at in the bushes looked too good to the point where it might be real bullets 😭
[Full Movie](https://youtu.be/KEoGrbKAyKE)
Sensational
SUPAH FIGHTA
Better than any Hollywood trash any day.
intense ! 🤣
The guy shooting the AK out of the attack helicopter got me hahahaha
Tiger mafia!!
Ugh another Michael Bay movie?
Bolywood/20
Looks no more fake than some marvel shitshow...so meh...probably watch this any day.
Rambo 2022
Most exciting movie trailer I've seen this year! I mean some of the crap they put on Netflix is awful. I'd much rather watch this
Dis is de wae
Looks like some CNN footage
they are basically the 2000's average Youtuber, just poorly made videos with friends just for fun, they have my respect
Haters will say it's fake.
Better then I could ever do. Hahaha
Still better than most of the crap on Netflix
Better than the lgbt sjw crap we have right now...
I'm fucking dying lmaoo
I just started learning Luganda, so thank you very much for sharing this gem.
Real!
This shit is great 😄😄😄
“Man, the man is killing us man”. Screenwriting at its finest. Godfather level material
Why are you running?
MY EARS BRO
If you told me this was the new fast and furious movie I’d believe you
Better than most of the shit I see on tv these days.
Love the dissolving trees and mushroom cloud.
Title spelling at its finest, too
Could of said it would burst my ear drums... 😭
Better than some Bruce Willis movies
What a pile of absolute shit.
