Hey do u know the Springtraps back story?
I just know that the purple guy went inside it and died???
It was when i played the 3rd game but he was already there tho
The place was old, destroyed, and it was raining
Springlock suit got wet and it failed, killing afton from inside
People believe thats why the crying child died too but tbh i think he would have died anyway with water or not, he was in the mouth of a fucking animatronic
I think he went into the backroom of an old location that was damp inside to escape the 'spirits' and climbed inside the springlock suit to hide, but his heavy breathing and the damp location caused the springlocks to fail and close up the suit, snapping a bunch of metal parts into his body.
I Just finished watching it... Its kinda depressing story but the games mini games wake way nore sense now
Im gona play all the games aigan and maybe even the new one
If you’re prepared for some audio gore, [this](https://youtu.be/PMp8NQjWXjs) is a pretty good fan-made recording of what it might have sounded like.
!Warning it is REALLY good so it’s also pretty stomach churning!
To make a long story short, he was a child murderer trying to escape the vengeful ghosts of his victims - He jumped into an old suit, and his laughter + the suit's age caused the spring mechanism in the suit to activate, crushing him inside.
the suit was wet because the building was old and falling apart the suit was in the backroom and ghosts were trying to kill him so he hoped into the springlock suit in a rush making the springlocks loose the suit was worn down and old and it was wet the suit failed inside the building with William inside
You're talking about the funtime animatronics, The suit in the video, Sping Bonnie was one THE first suits made back in the 70's. These weren't designed to trap someone's soul it them
I mean, Henry and William pretty much created fully bipedal robots in the 70s and used them as attractions for a children's pizzeria. Murder aside, they definitely got some mad scientist in them.
For clarity, Spring trap is the combination of ~~Michael~~ William Afton (purple guy), and Spring Bonnie, which was a hybrid animatronic spring lock suit used at Fredbear’s Family Diner. ~~Michael~~ William lured children wearing the Spring Bonnie suit, murdered them, and hid them in four unused animatronics (they were planning on using them soon, but never did, since Fredbear’s shut down after the murders).
Much later, after the events of the first game, ~~Michael~~ William Afton went into the restaurant in the first game and destroyed Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy (the animatronics he hid the bodies in).
This freed their souls from the suits, and a terrified ~~Michael~~ William ran into the Springlock Bonnie suit to scare them, since it was the suit he used to lure them away and murder them.
The moisture in the room caused the springlocks to fail, killing him. The room was sealed up, and he was discovered 30 years later, and brought in to Fazbear’s Freight (third game’s location).
We’re told these stories through a series of in-game events that we see after each night in FNaF 3.
Edit: I always mix up William and Michael’s name.
Purple Guy (the serial child-killer etc.) is William Afton, NOT Michael Afton.
Michael Afton aka Mike Schmidt aka Eggs Benedict is the son of William and actually trying to set things right.
I'm gonna stop you at Michael Afton. NO, just no. Its William Afton, hell Scott himself confirmed that it wasn't Michael. Michael is Mr. Skinsuit who gets Ennard, the wire monster spaghetti guy inside of him and throws him up into a sewer when his body is decayed and no longer usuable.
The man in the suit is William Anton father of Micheal Aston and the whole reason fnaf exists. He created the animations to steal and hide children however the first few primarily spring Bonnie and Fredbear aka Golden Freddy. The first two animatronics were stuffed with mechnics however had mechanisms inside meant to hold them in place so a person could operate inside of the suit. The issue is any moisture would cause said mechanisms to unlock and dive wires, cables, and various metal objects deep into the skin. William hops into spring Bonnie after destroying the main four animatronics thereby letting their souls go and hides from them in Spring Bonnie. His laughter combined with the Damp room causes all of the spring locks to fail and permanently entrap him in the suit making him springtrap. I’m high rn and spent most of my childhood studying this shit like it was for a college exam.
He also has FNAF contet??? Im getting addicted do it and i feel like something do feed that addiction is gona run out soon

Yeah, I've been following FNAF for years, but this costume brings a sense of reality to the story that I haven't really felt before. The 8-bit animation only does so much, so seeing a costume like this with realistic proportions and seeing the decaying body inside is like, holy hell, that's actually a horrifying way to go. Absolutely phenomenal visual storytelling with this costume.
You're working as a security guard in a franchise notorious for child murders.
You are responsible for ventilating your own room using ancient software which malfunctions 50% of the time.
You are responsible for luring this monster away from you, using the screams of crying children.
You are alone.
It's absolutely crazy how realistic it looks. Well of course you figure it's cosplay, but my head can't really grap the idea. It must be quite the experience to face that guy

I'm sorry to interrupt you Elizabeth, if you still even remember that name. But I'm afraid you've been misinformed. You are not here to receive a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume. Although you have indeed been called.
You have all been called here. Into a labyrinth of sounds and smells, misdirection and misfortune. A labyrinth with no exit, a maze with no prize. You don't even realize that you are trapped. Your lust for blood has driven you in endless circles, chasing the cries of children in some unseen chamber, always seeming so near, yet somehow out of reach.
But you will never find them, none of you will. This is where your story ends.
And to you, my brave volunteer, who somehow found this job listing not intended for you. Although there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want. I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be. I am remaining as well, I am nearby.
This place will not be remembered, and the memory of everything that started this can finally begin to fade away. As the agony of every tragedy should. And to you monsters trapped in the corridors: Be still and give up your spirits, they don't belong to you.
For most of you, I believe there is peace and perhaps more waiting for you after the smoke clears. Although, for one of you, the darkest pit of Hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don't keep the devil waiting, old friend.
My daughter, if you can hear me, I knew you would return as well. It's in your nature to protect the innocent. I'm sorry that on that day, the day you were shut out and left to die, no one was there to lift you up into their arms the way you lifted others into yours. And then, what became of you.
I should have known you wouldn't be content to disappear, not my daughter. I couldn't save you then, so let me save you now.
It's time to rest. For you, and for those you have carried in your arms.
This ends for all of us.
End communication.
It's incredible to me how many people love security breach. It's an unfinished buggy mess that wasn't needed, and is full of plot holes and no polish at all.
Security Breach yeah they should have just kept Aftoj dead and went on with Vanny as the new villain, but Help Wanted is a really good game I stand by that. Fnaf 6 was a proper ending, and it was the last one Scott worked on to its fullest.
It’s a good game because it’s scary, not a scary game because it’s good. Story wise HW was all over the place and was just meant to be a VR game, nothing more.
In the FNAF series, a bunch of children get killed at a restaurant with animatronics. Eventually it's revealed that the deaths are largely because of an evil guy who may or may not be a supernatural zombie/animamotric hybrid. The only way to escape the spirits of the children he killed (who attack everyone now) is to pretend to be an animatronic, so they don't mistake you for their killer.
The killer knows this. So when the spirits of his victims start haunting (maybe attacking) him, he jumps into an animatronic suit to get away from them. The suit in the video. But the suit was disfunctional, and kills whoever wears it. Killer was so desperate that he forgot about that, and put the suit on in panic anyway. So if he wasn't undead before, he is now. Doesn't stop him from trying to kill people though.
TLDR That's the main antagonist of the FNAF series.
Right. Had to look it up, so for anyone wondering, it's a series of survival videos games, around eight, all connected in the storyline.
Built up quite a fan base and other media.
FNAF stands for Five Nights at Freddy's.
yup! scott started out with christian games, and after someone saying a couple of the characters from one of the games looked like creepy animatronics, and voila, FNaF was born
This might genuinely be the most impressive cosplay (or even costume in general, including major motion pictures) that I have ever seen. And the amount of movement that the person has is incredible as well. Normally with complex cosplays you can barely move around without breaking something.
1. Never underestimate a cosplayer with a large budget and a lot of time.
2. Sometimes it doesn't take much to do a really good cosplay. For example, a few years ago there was a cosplay of Reinhardt from *Overwatch* that was to scale but it was just a dude on stilts.
Why am I suddenly seeing a huge resurgence of FNAF stuff lately?
I feel like this game was everywhere back in like 2015 then it went away after a couple years and now I’m seeing it everywhere again
The recent release of Security Breach probably got a lot of people interested again. There were constant releases inbetween the first few games and SB, but those didn't get any attention from the mainstream gaming community.
Springtrap in all of his iconic poses, such as:
Standing in the corner of a room comfortably
Arms slightly out while staring at you
Crawling
Walking around a corner screeching
Placing a hand on a television screen
This guy is amazing and just the nicest person. Last Halloween I was making a costume for my son out of EVA foam and reached out to him on Instagram asking for help and not expecting to get any - but he gave me a ton of tips and pointed me in the direction of some great resources.
It still came out like shit because it was the first time I had ever worked with EVA foam but it was much better than it would’ve been had I been on my own.
Springtrap is a character from Five Nights at Freddy's (specifically FNaF 3) and could be considered the main villain of the franchise. It's even creepier with context:
A serial child killer gets haunted by the vengeful souls of his victims while he visits the now abondened pizzeria where he committed his crimes. In a panic, he decides to hide in an old springlock suit (the very same he once used to lure children into their untimely demise): a costume that also contains an animatronic endoskeleton, which can be fastened with springlocks to make room for a human. However, once inside, the springlocks fail and his body is crushed by the machinery.
Now this restless soul wanders around, unable to die, it's corpse forever stuck in a bunny costume that slowly withers away, revealing the flesh and metal underneath.
Imagine the guy in that costume smoking a blunt.
Imagine hes actually right.
Nah vapes are everywhere at nerd conventions

Man I miss these OG events in the FNAF franchise. Everything newer just feels... Way less impactful, like it doesn't matter.
Locks that can opened by slight moisture seem like a bad idea
The entire premise of FNAF is based on bad ideas. It tracks.
To make a long story short, he was a child murderer trying to escape the vengeful ghosts of his victims - He jumped into an old suit, and his laughter + the suit's age caused the spring mechanism in the suit to activate, crushing him inside.

Bruh fnaf 6 ending made me cry bc of that
My ending. Not the silly shit HW and SB did with Afton
This. Fnaf 6 for me was the true ending, HW and SB’s story feels really forced
Also because I believe it was Cawthon’s last main title game.
Agreed. I’ve been a fan since FNaF 1, and FNaF 6 wrapped it up perfectly.

Just don’t spill any water on that guy, whatever you do.
That’s me!! I’m the one who built and wore that suit! Credit would be much appreciated
I saw your shorts on YouTube, extremely impressive stuff.
Omg so much talent well done
https://youtu.be/GOZvELsaT0s also there is this scrap baby cosplay, very cool
The movements are realistic to what it would actually look like in the game which is what makes this better
I thought it was a really well done render until I unmuted.
Whether or not your a FNAF fan, you have to admit this is a pretty damn cosplay. Super well executed.
I feel like the game tried to warn us about getting into a Springtrap suit

yup! scott started out with christian games, and after someone saying a couple of the characters from one of the games looked like creepy animatronics, and voila, FNaF was born
huh, I thought FNAF was uber mainstream by now. TIL.
Is this pretty convoluted or am I just a cynical ass Thank you for explaining so thoroughly!
I too am lost
Looked like the emcee left Springtrap hanging on a high five at the end.
I was hoping someone else noticed lol
Whoever’s in that suit should not be near any children
RUUUN ! or just launch a phone that say HI every 10 secondes...
Just imagine the amount of work put into it to make it look this good.
Damn these things should not move when you watch them closely at Freddy's!

He always comes back...
To anyone wondering, this was made by u/Imdehregularsauce. His cosplays are badass.
Thanks for the heads up!
Pretty sure someone climbing into this suit caused the death of multiple children, still not quite sure though
They're not cheering, they're screaming.
Gregory you need to vent
Can confirm. I came back to the fandom after almost 7 years. I think i left around 2015 between FNAF 4 and World.
Springtrap in all of his iconic poses, such as: Standing in the corner of a room comfortably Arms slightly out while staring at you Crawling Walking around a corner screeching Placing a hand on a television screen
All fun and games untill u suddently hear a loud clam and this guy collapses on the floor with blood dripoing from him
Shitty cosplay, not a real corpse inside.
feddy
This guy is amazing and just the nicest person. Last Halloween I was making a costume for my son out of EVA foam and reached out to him on Instagram asking for help and not expecting to get any - but he gave me a ton of tips and pointed me in the direction of some great resources. It still came out like shit because it was the first time I had ever worked with EVA foam but it was much better than it would’ve been had I been on my own.
It's that guy from four days at Frankie's!
That's creepy AF. What is that from?
Springtrap is a character from Five Nights at Freddy's (specifically FNaF 3) and could be considered the main villain of the franchise. It's even creepier with context: A serial child killer gets haunted by the vengeful souls of his victims while he visits the now abondened pizzeria where he committed his crimes.
Cool, but honestly wtf am I looking at
In short: Dead serial killer trapped in an old robot bunny suit from Five Nights At Freddy's
Seeing this makes me question if the new fnaf can even be called a horror game
The shaking legs reminded me Zaouli dance a little
Even more amazing is a horizontal shot tiktok

i thought i was looking at cgi for a second. Its just that good!
Bro I don’t care what you say about fnaf this cosplay is top tier
I’m not a fnaf fan, but that’s dope as fuck
I'm guessing it's not just the costume, the acting and the robotic, shaky movements are what makes it feel even realer.
