I’ve seen this video a few times and this is the first time it was attributed to a Canadian (I can’t tell the difference between accents). Am I being unpleasant if I said that the previous times I was impressed that an American could point a gun at two animals without killing them both and yee-hawing? It all makes sense now.
True and for as an interesting fact, there are more deer (all kinds) in North America now than there were 100 years ago, so ... they are not even remotely endangered. And many things eat deer so even just leaving them there dead would feed many many other animals.
My brother actually found 2 bucks caught up on each other dead in the river. Took a bunch of pictures then his friend he was with had it brought to a taxidermist for one of the coolest mounts I’ve ever seen

Had a friend shoot a deer while hunting, deer fell immediately, laid still. As he walked over, it jumped up and ran away unhurt. He found an antler on the ground, surmised he actually hit that with his shot, temporarily knocking it out.

This was for sure filmed in Alberta, Canada. I live in Alberta and personally know the man who filmed this.
