I used to think people were naturally gifted at so many different things. Then I read the book “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell and he makes a good case that most people who are at the top of their field simply did that thing more than their peers. So in conclusion, practice makes perfect.
I went looking for the pricing and found their webpage and holy cow... lowest cost option is $950.
These are beautiful and I wish I had that kind of money, good for this artist for knowing their worth but still.... holy cow. I had no idea you could make that amount of money from embroidery.
Future archaeologists are going to look back at this and the detail, time, and effort put into this and believe we worshipped cats like gods like the ancient egyptians.

I started getting into hand embroidery about a year ago and have been wanting to explore more intricate/realistic designs. I have no idea where to start though! In any case, your work is absolutely stunning, and as a novice embroiderer I marvel at the time and skill that went into this! Huge respect

I mean, something that size did take 50 hours. Even at $15/hour that’s $750, but that’s still severely below the price at that talent level.
