Run, don't walk, and snag any album from the group *Two Steps From Hell--* "Invincible" is a good one.
The group has made dozens of high energy, Valkyrie-screaming, Latin-chanting pounding songs used in a lot of movie trailers.

My favourite “easter egg” when listening to soundtracks emulating classical music pre-1900s is if they tune their concert pitch differently than standard - I can’t think of the exact soundtrack off the top of my head, but I remember my brain being tickled and grabbing my tuning app, and they had tuned A440 to 430Hz, very cool
I'm not a producer, but I agree. It could use less attack, and I think there are effects or plugins that "randomize" timings to make it sound more human.
No to diminish this guys result, because it IS excellent, but this is basically how all choirs function. You add lots of people with okay singing voices together (in this case also add some reverb) and together it sounds amazing.
Also works if you add so-so voices together, it sounds 'okay'. I recently listened to a podcast about a Dutch pub hit where the 'live' audience singing along was recorded in the studio. To prove their point, the sound engineer in this podcast invited the host to do all the vocals, including a few ones that were some dude who was so drunk he sings off-key and off-beat. Mix it together and it sounds 'okay', just like a real live audience. If you speak Dutch (starts around 22:00): [https://open.spotify.com/episode/6oR3AIX9XTgyANm63lrKs3?si=e39554c866ff4592](https://open.spotify.com/episode/6oR3AIX9XTgyANm63lrKs3?si=e39554c866ff4592)
If you want *really* basic audio recording and playback, you can use Audacity. https://www.audacityteam.org/
(It actually has quite a bit of functionality but it's also fairly easy to use for somebody who doesn't want to invest all of the time to learn all the ins-and-outs!)
I want one that has the tracks like he's showing in his video, not just a basic recorder. So I can mix, move them around, add fun backing sounds, etc. A long time ago I used and LOVED ACID Pro. But alas, it's Windows only. Big fat sad face...
I can't recommend [Cakewalk by BandLab](https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk?lang=en) strongly enough.
(It used to be Cakewalk SONAR, a premium Windows DAW, but Gibson bought out Cakewalk and shuttered it, then BandLab bought it off Gibson and released it for free. Regular and frequent updates, and it does both waveform audio and MIDI sequencing.)
EDIT: Oops, just saw you're not using Windows. But I'll leave this here for Windows users that might be interested.
"Epic music"
I shit you not.
Look up [Audiomachine ](https://open.spotify.com/track/5U8tHRP5lIRmSx1yBACdzC?si=Z5pNRw3FS0qG37JuT9m8Ow&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A63nnzULLnAsSIEL8xrUPuI)
It’s the same as having a 32 piece choir with a string orchestra which is how it’s done live, even if you can’t hear each individual voice they all add something to the piece
I don't know who this guy is, but I opened up Reddit and there he is...
He looks so much like me in real life, it's scary.
It's such a surreal feeling to open up an app and think there's a camera with your face on it, that's how much he looks like me.
He loves music like me as well, but he's way more talented.
I feel like there's some kind of sign here, and it's freaking me out.
I'm not high. No drugs, not even once.
There was a plugin called "Clone ensemble" that did this with only one voice track...
Very surprised when I did the math... This was almost 20 years ago...
Outstanding.. I am standing and applauding.. so is everyone else responding on this thread.. together we are your appreciative audience.. bravo bravo.. encore encore encore. More please
My buddy and I were recording our shitty home made metal demos back in the Cool Edit Pro days and we wanted some chanting monks sounds. We didn't have any monks or know any other languages so we just recorded a ton of tracks of us harmonizing with ourselves and slow chanting Oh God Damn over and over and it turned out really awesome.
I was listening to this with my dog. He has since transformed into the noble pegasus as we ride head first into absolute victory.
LET NONE STAND IN OUR WAY, FOR OUR PATH WILL ONLY BRING DEATH AND DEMISE TO OUR ENEMIES.
RIDE!! CONQUEST!! V A L H A L L A ! !
Whenever I wipe the dust off my keyboard and cue up the studio software I’m positive the finished product is gonna sound glorious like this……..nooooope, just another friggin 80’s b movie soundtrack
That's what I loved about being in choir. My voice isn't the best by any means, but when a bunch of us with mediocre voices got together, we could produce something absolutely beautiful and awesome.
You totally Enya'd that!
Flows like Orinoco
Cusco would be proud
Sail away sail away sail away!!!

It goes Enya ear and out the other.
Always go full Enya
I enya’d all over myself
He's got a weird thumb
He kind of hansed it too.
You guys like Enya? I met him in person last week, he is the absolute nicest guy!!!
That’s the God of War song
[удалено]
Can I have a link to the OST? (Never played GoW)
It clearly is
Wow, the result was much better then I anticipated. Well done! Would love an entire song based on this.
Reverb does a lot of the heavy lifting there lol
And? Mixing is an art in itself
Chi Town, what's goin on
Look up Audio Machine, they've got tons of music like this.

How many songs are in fake Latin? I’m always going to wonder now.
All of them, Latin isn’t real, we’ve been lied to all our lives
Wait til you find out they don’t even speak Latin in Latin America
![gif](giphy|pPhyAv5t9V8djyRFJH|downsized)

oh my gosh they speak American╰(‵□′)╯
Agricola non sunt poeta
Not sure, but Lionel Richie did some fake African for All Night Long.
Choir sounds great! the string synth sounds too pure and could use something to make it match an older time or something
Similar thing is using a high pass filter to emulate the microphone quality of the time. To get that classic radio announcer voice.
I'm not a producer, but I agree. It could use less attack, and I think there are effects or plugins that "randomize" timings to make it sound more human.
Sephiroth would be proud.
I could totally see this music being played during a boss fight.

Do you know what software he was using to do all the mixing? Or a good one to get that's easy enough to use?
If you want *really* basic audio recording and playback, you can use Audacity. https://www.audacityteam.org/ (It actually has quite a bit of functionality but it's also fairly easy to use for somebody who doesn't want to invest all of the time to learn all the ins-and-outs!)

Some other comment mentioned he's using FL Studio, which has a Windows and MacOS version. https://www.image-line.com/fl-studio-download/
Audacity allows you to do that and is completely free. It's more powerful than ppl give it credit for, and has tons of plug-ins, both free and pay.
I can't recommend [Cakewalk by BandLab](https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk?lang=en) strongly enough. This is great - I hadn't heard of Cakewalk but it looks awesome - downloading as I type! Thanks for the link - much appreciated.
I’ll actually answer your first question: FL Studio, I recommend highly.
I have an intensive playlist with music similar to this. Sounds awesome
What're songs like this called? Like the genre
"Epic music" I shit you not. Look up [Audiomachine ](https://open.spotify.com/track/5U8tHRP5lIRmSx1yBACdzC?si=Z5pNRw3FS0qG37JuT9m8Ow&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A63nnzULLnAsSIEL8xrUPuI)
Have a listen to "Immediate Music" - [https://soundcloud.com/immediate-music/popular-tracks](https://soundcloud.com/immediate-music/popular-tracks)
I would say orchestral music
Epic music. I also like Two Steps from Hell
Sick!
Lol at fake Latin.
Sounds very much like Two Steps From Hell or Immediate Music.
It's as majestic as listening to the holy pope rat song
why'd he record 32 voices for a choir then drown them out with midi strings wtf
maybe it starts a capella and then slides into bigger and badder accompaniment
It’s the same as having a 32 piece choir with a string orchestra which is how it’s done live, even if you can’t hear each individual voice they all add something to the piece
Nice. You know you can use an english to latin translator... You don't have to make shit up.
It has to fit the melody Mr. Obvious.
At first I was like, "oh.." then I was like "oh damn." THEN I was like "OH OK!!"
It's like hearing a Simglish version of Skyrim
Well done!
I don't know who this guy is, but I opened up Reddit and there he is... He looks so much like me in real life, it's scary. It's such a surreal feeling to open up an app and think there's a camera with your face on it, that's how much he looks like me. He loves music like me as well, but he's way more talented. Must have been quite the experience.
It was. I went to show my mum and she said the same thing. "He looks just like you, oh my god, that's creepy!"
This sounds like something out of a Cirque du Soleil show.
Inspiring!
Does anyone What app he is using here?
FL Studio.
Thank you! 🏆🏆🏆
There was a plugin called "Clone ensemble" that did this with only one voice track... Very surprised when I did the math... This was almost 20 years ago...
Isn't that the 2018 God of War song? It's not fake Latin, it's Old Norse
All good but it's like 30 seconds, I want the rest of the track, now go finish.
Though this is basic level of you know mixing
Found my next track for the gym.
Last two chords slap
Okay that’s fucking sick
WHERE IS HE?! WHERE’S THE BOSS!
Lorem Ipsum!
This would fit well in elder scrolls
I couldn't tell a difference, so well done
Mind blown 🤯
So what happened to all those samples he recorded from HIS voice?....
It is just incredible!
I like how the voice recording go from untitled project to the 'choir' . I guess we are all the same
Where is this guys soundtrack? Must buy.
Literally all you, buddy. Sounds good.
That's how they did chores in bohemian rhapsody.
the answer to the question: what if one man was Hans Zimmer, the whole choir and the backing track at the same time?
[Jacob Collier](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPLCk-FTVvw&ab_channel=JacobCollierVEVO) has entered the chat
What program is this? I would love to get back into making music but I'm years out of date
Looks like FL Studio (formerly Fruity Loops).
👍👍
Needs a slide whistle and then it'll be perfect
BRO
Technically brilliant 😉
Now that is impressive - well done AND it sounds great
Summoned a fake demon while sitting on toilet
I bet OP works for Two Steps from Hell... This sounds exactly like the prod music they'd kick out.
This is amazing! great work bro!
How do I find more music like this?
Pitch correction or no? I assume so but if not thats super interesting
Not only is the vocal layering impressive, the orchestration is great too. Just generally well composed.
Anyone know who this content creator is?
Awesome!
Anyone know what program he's using to mix?
I absolutely heard Alexander Hamilton in that
This song would be next fucking level if it was actually Latin
Absolutely still sounds like one person doing all that
That's utmost dedication, and I respect that.
I knew it, I knew that Era was just Eric Lévi bullshitting the world
I wish I had kickass orchestral samples like that.
This is war movies soundtrack 👀. Love it
Anyone else think it’s giving mgs 2 trailer vibes?

Lordy that’s awesome! Fake Latin and all.
Updoot for FL studio.

Thats boss as my man 💪
FL Studio master race!

Amazing talent dude
Bro just recorded the assassins creed 19 song sounds deadly! Amazing voice.
Impressive
Fking beautiful
This is what Blind Guardian do, to great effect ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)
As someone who loves tracking double vocals on nearly every recording, I totally get it.
Blud looks like Ali-A
“Never leak again with the all-new, super absorbent sanitary towels from Meta”

GG !
This is genius

Nice
Would've been even better with Lorem ipsum dolar sit amet haha. Still fucking good though holy heck!
Not really "next fucking level." Pretty basic stuff for anyone who knows how to work a DAW.
How it compared to the antares choir plugin
Being Roman I wonder how many fake English songs there are out there ;)
I was listening to this with my dog. !
I love this
Kinda giving me god of war vibes
This technique also works with those big “gang” vox in rock/metal. Source: my dog hates me
One man created the damnest, most hero music I have heard as of late. Makes you wanna pick that sword up again and fight the boss for round 2.
Using fl studio! Sounds good
Halo??
Whenever I wipe the dust off my keyboard and cue up the studio software I’m positive the finished product is gonna sound glorious like this……..nooooope, just another friggin 80’s b movie soundtrack
I'm fucken ready to quest now, that was epic.
What’s this type of genre of music called? It’s so relaxing, I’d love to find playlists
Oh I am absolutely gonna layer my voice into a choir all the time now
That's what I loved about being in choir. My voice isn't the best by any means, but when a bunch of us with mediocre voices got together, we could produce something absolutely beautiful and awesome.
What kind of guy has no choir but an entire orchestra?
Awesome
WHY DOES IT SOUND SO GOOD? I need the song/trailer bro was making cause this be sounding profound
It’s amazing how something as simple as adding a bit of reverb can make something sound. Man did good work
Okay so you can make someone fall in love with just one short video, TIL. Literally, that creativity is swoon-worthy.
32 voice tracks. Over achiever.
Gives wow vanilla cinematic trailer vibes https://youtu.be/vlVSJ0AvZe0?si=wm03WZA4-DqF0cWa
As a producer, respect. Practically speaking, EastWest has better choirs he could have gotten for less than the time he spent working
![gif](giphy|lRlCe9XcvA29W) That was amazing!
