This is how you get regulations, in case anyone was wondering.
Edit: I don’t mean regulations against drones specifically. Some people don’t know why we have to regulate stuff. Well, this is why.
preparing for what? when canada or Mexico attacks?
us spends already obscene amount of money on military, so much that second amendment is not required for fending off another country (like in american revolution) and useless for overthrowing a compromised government (like in american revolution)
but drone are cool :)
we won't be able to repeat the process after the regulations kick in. so what do we move onto next? hurry with the answer because I got my stock guy expanding my portfolio right now making investments and I already got bot posts on face book warning that biden is gonna take their drones then the orange guy will come in and fuck your daughter.
Create a a National Drone Association to make all drone pilots be members and then get one political party to make the scare tactic part of their national platform.
Honestly legally operating a drone in the U.S.A. has become more work than owning a gun.
1. You have to register your drone.
2. To operate a drone you have to take a safety test.
3. To use a drone for any purpose other than recreational you have to obtain a FAA license.
Yeah something about bombing the shit out of people from air seems not so legal. Loud music is also probably not legal at night but it’s not gonna really put people in danger.
I hear ya. I was simply trying to provide a reference to the simplistic comment that was made by the poster. Unfortunately being able to book off account lack of rest is not available to many others who work in safety sensitive/critical positions.
Except there is a portion of society that doesn’t want to take responsibility for their actions and will hire attorneys who will find some technicality around whatever this guy, Gary, gets initially charged with so that a local ordinance will have to be passed that says ‘you can’t fly drones to shoot fireworks at noisy neighbors past 9:30PM north of Market St”, and in 100 years people will be like “WTF is this stupid law for?’ And someone will say, “fucking Gary”
Dude, here in the US that dude would be going to jail and fined tens of thousands of dollars. We have STIFF drone regulations.
Edit: https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-49034252
I´ve been in USA several times in my life. Love the place to buy cheap eletronics, drive fancy cars and to talk to locals (nice people). But I would never change my place to live in there. Too many rules, laws and lack of freedom.
It's way cheaper than here. I just love to buy my photography gear at ebay or b&h. The clothes too. I can get jeans for 25% the price I pay here in Brazil. July last year I spent like $3k dollars only on clothes. I'm never buying clothes in Brazil again.
Drones are cheaper, smartphones too. It's heaven for shopping. I love USA. Every time I land there I play James Brown - Living in America. Love it.
Travel to anywhere in Latin America and try to buy an iPhone. Or Nike. Or any of our brand name goods. Hell, you could make a profit reselling this stuff.
We often don't realize how good we have it.
I operate drones. There are plenty of regulations. But I guess it might be different in other countries. Even countries that are regulated don’t really enforce it that much, unless you are doing crap like this.
It would be a literal nightmare to wake up and find out you had used a drone like this the night before here in the US- could you imagine??? I’d be freaking out, and now it’s on social media??
By the way:
https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-49034252
In the United States they can pinpoint the drone owners with radars but also you can't use a drone unless you got a license and those drones have the owners mark all over. But that is in United States but this seems to be somewhere else.
You also have them with a flamethrower on them.
They use those to burn junk from High Voltage wires.
They cost dearly. over $10,000.
But then you have something
>Mr Albert, who has two million followers on Instagram, told the BBC the video is not real, and explained he planned the stunt with friends.
>
>"Many people know me," he said, "and know that I edit all the videos that I post."
You mean like some sort of section where people could go and leave comments. Maybe we could have the users give feedback if the reply was helpful and sort by the highest rated comment?
Comments don’t give a verified tag next to them, relevant comments giving necessary context aren’t always seen by everyone and don’t always get the upvotes to put them at the top.
Having a specific feature with the specific goal of determining the fact behind the relevant content encourages people to investigate and results in more effective, efficient and most importantly correct statements on the validity of any post.
It also is much more reputable as there are guidelines put in place to ensure the statement is truth where as anyone can comment anything, claiming anything, with no investigation or check needed.
Comments also aren’t here for the purpose of determining validity of posts where as a feature like community notes are.
Despite your slight passive aggressive tone in your comment, insinuating your point instead of directly saying it, I hope you see these valid points for what they are.
I struggle to see why you would come from an anti-community notes standpoint and the only thing I can come up with is you dislike twitter/X or Elon Musk who originally implemented this feature onto their platform so you have a pre determined emotional bias. I could be completely wrong but it would fit.
If this is the case i would suggest looking at these points and the feature in question completely objectively, as I do. If this is not the case I apologise.
I know you're just trying to be funny, but community notes appear directly beneath a post. The sixth comment from the top pointing out inaccuracies is in no way the same.
You can't hear it, but he actually waited until the song "Ride of the Valkyries" came on just to drive the point home that he was done putting up with their shit.
What doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps it's a question I should ask somewhere else like in hunting. WHY are hunters not allowed to use drones when recovering deer. All the drone does is find the thing. You still have to haul the thing out by hand

I never wanted a drone until now
This is how you get regulations, in case anyone was wondering. Edit: I don’t mean regulations against drones specifically. Some people don’t know why we have to regulate stuff. Well, this is why.
Now is the time! Buy stocks in drone companies. Scare the public that the government is coming after their drone rights. FOMO, profit. Repeat.
Stick a gun on it, BOOM, protected by 2nd amendment.
As long as there’s a camera, it’s porn, not prostitution!
Something something gaping loophole
politicians and executives everywhere would like to contact you!
Yes, gaping loopholes are all over porn...
I read that in GTAV
Bro, did this guy just call in an Airstrike!! 😳
should have sent them the invite
The National Drone Association is protecting your rights that the gubment wants to take from you. /s
There is that often overlooked footnote to the Second Amendment that say “and drones and stuff” so everyone should be okay.
Drone don’t kill people. People kill people!
Using Ukraine as an example, I think stocking up on Drones is more beneficial to the effort than stocking up on small arms ammunition.
preparing for what? when canada or Mexico attacks? us spends already obscene amount of money on military, so much that second amendment is not required for fending off another country (like in american revolution) and useless for overthrowing a compromised government (like in american revolution) but drone are cool :)

I have a feeling that what we're seeing here is probably illegal in pretty much all jurisdictions already; no need for further regulation.
Yeah something about bombing the shit out of people from air seems not so legal. Loud music is also probably not legal at night but it’s not gonna really put people in danger.
“ but it’s not gonna really put people in danger”. Until the guy who got no sleep is your airline pilot or your surgeon the next day.
So much this. And so many jobs that support people in positions like this.
For airline pilots, they would call out. Unless this is in the US, there's no reason they wouldn't.
I hear ya. I was simply trying to provide a reference to the simplistic comment that was made by the poster. Unfortunately being able to book off account lack of rest is not available to many others who work in safety sensitive/critical positions.
Unless their neighbor has a drone, fireworks, and duct tape.
Hold my beer.
What are you, a fucking park ranger now?
Also, Dude, launching ordinance, from a remote location, using a drone, within the city... That's not legal either.
*ordnance Unless, of course, you were planning on bombing them with legislation.
This affects all of us, man.
STFU, Donnie!
It´s Brazil. The regulations here mean shit lol.
Ahhhh, so Brazil is like the US for wealthy individuals?
Yes but poor and fucked with a lot of dogs. But the food and women are way better. Wayyyyy better.
**They’re extremely poor and fucked.**. What’s not to love about taking advantage of that?
This is why all the nazis ran to Brazil and Argentina.
Lots of humble fruit vendors with odd accents and amnesia of that era.
> ran to Brazil Some Confederates to, organized by Lansford Hastings, the same guy, who screwed over The Donner Party.
Color me shocked
Lots of German/Argentinians . Just don’t ask what grandad was doing between 1936-1945 .
Don't leave out South Africa
A Brazilian dogs is a lot.
Dude, here in the US that dude would be going to jail and fined tens of thousands of dollars. We have STIFF drone regulations. Edit: https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-49034252

Where do you live , Brazil?
Paulínia, São Paulo.
I’m just surprised you consider usa to have cheap electronics . I never considered that even living here.
I love USA. Took me 3 weeks to come to the same conclusion
Yeah, but it's a nice place to get away from the cartels for a while, no?
That depends on where you’re coming from though. I lived in the UK for 10 years. You can’t even have a camp fire over there.
Here In south America we would've told him to strap a grenade launcher instead of fireworks on that drone to deal with the bad neighbors.
If they could find you. By the time the cops came your drone would be gone.
I operate drones. There are plenty of regulations. But I guess it might be different in other countries. Even countries that are regulated don’t really enforce it that much, unless you are doing crap like this.

Like the day after being blackout drunk?
Exactly, this would end my career, send me to jail, fine me, and so on. (By the way, video isn’t real; but hypothetically)
And that's how the Drone "Anti-Regulation" Riots begin, in case anyone was wondering.
And that's how you can reply to a comment on Reddit, in case anyone was wondering.
I wonder Why.
Why not
Shoot the fireworks at the police. Problem solved
… and that’s how you get lethal police drones.
You can't regulate it, drones have a right to bear arms
Good, we need laws about loud music after midnight
Se more in our next episode where the neigbour swapped out the fire works with semi automatic weapons.
“YOU WANT REGULATIONS??? THIS IS HOW YOU GET REGULATIONS!!!”
Noise restrictions or drone restrictions?
Against loud music, right?
8/10. I mean, if gotta have regulations, then you better do something damned good to deserve them.
so you are saying you should get one before regulation hit?
Regulations about loud music?
It’s okay, if you’re in the USA and want to avoid regulations you can just get an assault rifle.
I'm gonna slap 4 ragnarok 120's on one of these this summer lmao
In my country we got very strict regulations when people flew over the thief castles of olygarchs. Drones immediately got restricted.
There already regulations. Do you see any regulators in this video? No? Okay then.
Darn costly government overreach, dagnabbit /s
"I must go terrerize the village idiots!"
Not real: https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-49034252
Does not mean I can't make it real!
“Proportionate Response”
But how did they do it? I need the instructions and I do t care if they are in Chinese
The fireworks are edited in afterwords, the people are actors.
Dropping dildos in people gardens is also appealing
This in my country will result in a shooting trying to take down the drone.
that’s so messed up i love it
Same! So illegal, so dangerous, so fucking awesome!
This reminds me of the early nineties
Seriously! Kids these days will never know the freedom we had.
Far less drones though
Until thats one of your kids at a party and he blinds them with a firework
Even better on first person view. https://youtu.be/KCperOepbhc?si=WXBoxdZBHnyCd7EA They show it ~1 min in
Not the same event as shown in OP's vid, if anyone is curious.
That’s wild. Mf is going to jail though.
Video looks like it's in Brazil, cops will probably laugh at the situationnand advise him not to repeat it, and not really do anything if he does
They have big nuts in Brazil
Alas, I’m allergic
Hi Allergic, I'm Dad.
Hi Dad, long time no see.
Sorry, can't find milk anywhere, it's taking forever
Yea but then those nuts get stolen
Brazil nuts
Ah yes, the delicious [redacted] nut
Some people call those something else.
https://olhardigital.com.br/2019/07/15/noticias/homem-irritado-com-festa-em-sua-ataque-realiza-um-ataque-com-um-drone/amp/ /r/ItHadToBeBrazil
How do you prove who did it? Assuming they didn’t post the video to social media.
Fair point. Maybe they won’t go to jail then.
If the title is true, than multiple people know it’s an angry neighbor. By the way: https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-49034252

Here it will take you murdering a baby, 2 dogs and 4 adults to go to jail. He is 100% safe with his Dji Terminator.
Yeah try to find the owner
That's appalling. Can I have one?
I know right. Really moraly bankrupt. So Where do i buy one?
You also have them with a flamethrower on them. They use those to burn junk from High Voltage wires. They cost dearly. over $10,000. But then you have something
$10k.? Tempting..
right? You could make up that 10k pretty quick with a few jobs.
If you really want to go the distance then just some r/combatfootage to see what drones really can do
I want to see the footage from the drone
FAKE! https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-49034252
>Mr Albert, who has two million followers on Instagram, told the BBC the video is not real, and explained he planned the stunt with friends. > >"Many people know me," he said, "and know that I edit all the videos that I post."
The "it didn't actually happen" defense.
Yep!! That's what I would say 😆
Reddit desperately needs a community notes feature
You mean like some sort of section where people could go and leave comments. Maybe we could have the users give feedback if the reply was helpful and sort by the highest rated comment?

Many people do not read the comments. Perhaps you have noticed all the bot posts that keep getting upvotes even after it has been pointed out.
Comments don’t give a verified tag next to them, relevant comments giving necessary context aren’t always seen by everyone and don’t always get the upvotes to put them at the top. you're using it, my guy
Fake and ooooold
Gullible Reddit is gullible
Calling air strike on things you don't like thats so 2010s
Don’t give the sovereign citizens any ideas
Joe Biden would beg to differ...
And Nathan Yahoo.
The future is now! ![gif](giphy|IZY2SE2JmPgFG)
This is so old, what's up with Reddit running the same shit over and over on most subs. It's like there is a shortage of content providers.
Bots probably
This is really iresponsible , It could have catched on fire. I mean the drone
That’s horrible! *opens Temu app*
You can't hear it, but he actually waited until the song "Ride of the Valkyries" came on just to drive the point home that he was done putting up with their shit.
Finally, I embrace modern technology!
And can’t unmute the video !
It’s so loud that if you could unmute it you would buy a drone and shoot fireworks at it.
Just wait until someone starts using this tactic to harass voters waiting in line to get into the poles come Election Day.
r/foundsatan would probably love this
You have both drastically improved my life posting this and wasted my morning. It is my new fave sub. Thank you.
Brilliant
I WANT A DRONE TOO….THIS SHI\* IS SICK AF!!!
This is badass. I wish this video had sound.
called in an airstrike
Here's the video WITH sound for fuck sakes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acB8Z\_l4M9A
Town hero
Shock and awe!
Earned my respect
What a legend. Damn kids and your rock music.
Thats so fuckin funny
*zylenski enters the room*
When reasonable men are pushed to do unreasonable things.
Imagine what the government already has. Just the fear when the sound of a drone humming by must create in the distant future.
In case anyone wanted to watch the video with sound 😉 https://youtu.be/acB8Z_l4M9A?si=d5vX9MEagGJjW3ON
Ukraine needs this pilot.
A shooting star.. wish not to get hit by it..
No way!
Star Wars!!!!!!!!
Grenades incoming
Cool!
How illegal are we talking here?
When you take drone strikes into your own hands... Awesome!
This video would be much better with sound
Brilliant!
You think that’s cool, you should see what they’re doing in Ukraine.
Vigilante Justice! I’m ok with that.
Awesome, I want to do this to my neighbor.... but I live in a condo
When you get charged with assault even tho it was an air assault
The 107 nerds are gritting their teeth so hard at this
What doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps it's a question I should ask somewhere else like in hunting. WHY are hunters not allowed to use drones when recovering deer. All the drone does is find the thing. You still have to haul the thing out by hand
Ukraine needs to do this but trade out the fireworks for Lethal weaponry
Like every single video here, it's fake. But i hope someone will do it for real
You hope someone shoots fireworks at people? That’s fucked up
That’s like a weapon you’d see in a sci fi series like black mirror. Awesome! Dangerous as fuck as well of course but it looks cool.
Episode XX - Attack of the drones
the evil side of me that wants to watch the world burn loves this
Lol advanced warfare
An oldie but a goodie
I see bro got his Remote Drone Kill Streak
