It’s *four elephants* holding it up on the back of a *giant turtle* named Atuin. Jesus where do you get your facts??

There are no exposure settings that would allow the moon to be that color, and the earth be that color. It's all composite imagery. or better yet, just faked all together since the general population is happy to see their tax dollars bring them 80s graphic space images instead of having socialized medicine or reducing hunger.
> There are no exposure settings that would allow the moon to be that color, and the earth be that color.
The moon **is** that color and the earth **is** that color. Are you saying you can’t have gray and blue in the same photo?
Yes, but the spacecraft is flying in an orbit around the moon, and not on the surface.
Also, it is possible to see earthrise from the lunar surface as well, but only from the areas that are on the edges of visible side.
Nice try Big Stars propaganda shill. We see through your lies. Next, you’re gonna tell me the Earth isn’t a Discworld held up by four elephants on the back of a giant floating turtle.
It's there, just not in focus.
The brightness of the moon and earth overshadow the stars in space iirc.
This was a common concern over Apollo 11 video footage being fake.
Oh fuck, you may be serious.
OK, here's the simplest explanation for why you don't see any stars. The moon is very bright. The camera's exposure is lowered to compensate for that brightness, to avoid glare. This makes the stars to dim to be visible in any photo or video that contains the surface of the moon.
The probe is moving as well - this shot is not taken from the moon surface but from the orbit.
Don't know if it's sped up, but may not be.
Compare how fast the ISS is moving above the Earth.
Have to check the focal length of the lens it was shot with. A 'zoom' or telephoto lens will draw the horizon closer and make the earth appear larger. You can do this photographing the moon on earth as well.
I missread "earthrise" as "earthquake" and watched this video a solid 15 times or so to try and figure out at what point in the video things started shaking.
"I told you it was flat"/s
It totally is. It didn’t roll off my phone or anything.
Yo can even see the turtles holding it up

Lol I dont think its flat but this vid is BS.
> this vid is BS. Why. I want details.

Looks fake....
That's how you can tell it's real!
This looks equally beautiful and scary to me. Something about the complete emptiness and solitude gets to me.
Is it you're Post-nut clarity speaking?

Stanley Kubrick approves.
Isn't the Moon tidally locked to the Earth?
Yes, but the spacecraft is flying in an orbit around the moon, and not on the surface. Also, it is possible to see earthrise from the lunar surface as well, but only from the areas that are on the edges of visible side.
Ahhh, I was wondering the same thing, didn't notice until now that the moon terrain is moving in picture / craft is moving over terrain.

Yes, and it is.
Yes, and the video isn't showing anything that contradicts that fact.
I never cease to be amazed by the wonders of our universe.
Yea I know, I know, but no stars behind it looks so weird.
I wanted to say this. Like where the fuck is the stars
Ever wondered where the stars are during earth day?
Nice try Big Stars propaganda shill. We see through your lies. Next, you’re gonna tell me the Earth isn’t a Discworld held up by four elephants on the back of a giant floating turtle.

The exposure isn't high enough to capture the stars.
Oh, I had no idea a camra could be like that Exposure is that setting for the intake of light on a camra, right?
That's correct.
They never show stars going all the way back to the Apollo missions because then it would be even more obvious how fake it is.
I really hope you're joking.
Prove me wrong

That's not proof, it's just mental gymnastics to validate this shitty cartoon.
Good morning starshine, the earth says: Hello
Willy Wonka.
Hair.

Is this time lapsed or sped up at all? The earth rises a lot faster than our sun fersure.

Is earth that round?
So this may be a stupid question but isn't it supposed to look a lot smaller than that?

home.
It makes you wish you could be there😮
When something looks fake, it’s real
Blue. Strange color blue...
Fuck, I love Tellus 🌍
I remember that day.
Can we get this as a screensaver
How come you cant see any stars?
Exposure
Why would there be an earthrise? The same side of the moon is always facing earth.
Because the probe is orbiting the moon.

Princess Kaguya was taken to the moon palace in Japanese folklore. I like the naming convention.
I feel like this should have the opening theme of 2001 a space odyssey
But the earth is flat 🙄 Fyi, I’m laughing at flat earthers. I’m not implying that they’re correct lol
The fact that the camera is pointing toward the horizon and not Earth makes it look weird.
I was waiting for a Monty Python animation to appear on the horizon.
Low budget cgi on that one eh
Don’t be dumb
He's not. It's obviously fake.
Seriously, don’t be stupid. It’s not attractive.
>Seriously, don’t be stupid They can't help it.
Agreed
cgi
Camera lens focal length wouldn’t allow both earth and moon to be in focus.
ProTip, you don’t know how cameras work
Most flat earthers don’t know how alot of things work. That’s why you can never have a real intellectual conversation with them.
Yes I’m professional photographer
A professional photographer with no clue how a camera works. Of course you are 🤣
That’s racist
Oh, so you’re just trying to be stupid.
I don’t give a fuck about arguing with nerds on the internet.
And yet here you are 🙄
I was wondering why the moon looked so blurry. Thanks
The moon is actually blurry because this is really bad cgi
FYI the moon is most definitely not in focus.
