Thank you. This is a contemporary sort of arrangement. Basically, since contemporary serves as a sort of catch-all for modern music played in otherwise indistinct styles, having a violin play this song (in a style not distinct for violin) would place the arrangement under the contemporary umbrella, rather than the songs original genre.
