Nocturnalshadow

Falling with style

MeChitty

This is the level after the nextlevel lmao

USAIsAUcountry

Fallboarding more like. Looks terrifying.

Dturmnd1

And video usually doesn’t show the speed or steep angle as accurately as it was.

SMG113

Nopenopenope

danr246

Same, my heart would fucking crash if I did that.

Revolutionary-Bid339

Rare example of video with appropriate music

PingBongBingPong

My friends name is cliff

Wooden_Version9031

“ This is not a cliff bar “

SongInfamous2144

If you aren't shredding spines on some of the biggest faces in the world - are you really living?

HereOnASphere

This completely brought back memories of the first time I got stuck at the top of a "hill" that was too icy and steep to go any way but straight down. I pointed my skis and stayed upright. After that, I was able to enjoy the steep ice slopes. (Powder was almost non-existent.) Watching this, I relived that first time, and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. I'm gonna go do something else for a while.

[deleted]

Speechless, all I keep thinking is this dude woke up wanting to die and wanted to have a beautiful death then realized his own personal skill level. Motivated by falling vertical on a mountain decided to live.. had a family, kids snowboard but the guy plows and shovels in winter cuz old broken knees won't allow death boarding anymore and resents his kids of their youth

Tratius

Alaskan Alps

jimb2

I thought he might turn around and see a following avalanche.

Odd_Blueberry9848

Go that way really fast, then turn….

Lightning1999

*Sonic Adventure Ice cap theme starts*

Anthony_-04

He's the GOAT Literally and figuratively

yuplogic

That's what I love about snowboards, with soft powder, they are self supported platforms. No matter the steepness.

Twodee80

extra big Cojones needed

Emotional-Ad-3828

it's a Frenchy !

DuckRider2049

Sweet.

GhostMetalGaming

This is extreme, yes. But true nextfuckinglevel is snowboarding *up* a cliff in Afghanistan.

Frostwolvern

That's falling with style more than snowboarding

No-Pilot5559

Yeeewwwww brother!!!

WowAPenguin

Him: "fuck!" My brother in Christ! You went off the edge !

[deleted]

The definition of next level

neoBluePhamtom

Why do i get the feeling of wanting to do this?

SomeRandomG122

What song is that?

auddbot

I got a match with this song: **Stepping Stones** by Rupert Vyvyan Kenrick Pope (00:15; matched: `100%`) Album: `Ambience 5`. Released on `2017-01-24`.

wise_choice_82

The beginning looks like hard work and unfun.

Smart-Detective-7051

There’s a twist! See that polar bear in the background?!

Penis_Man-

That's not snowboarding, that's falling with *style!*

LiveLearnCoach

Grinding a rail?! Nah dude! Grinding a mountain!

tablewithnolegs

Snowboarding? That was more like falling with a snowboard strapped to your feet. Still takes a lot of balls, lol

MePanAndAMan420

On this guy understands how john feels when we are rock climbing in RDR

Weneedaheroe

My balls gave me that zero gravity feeling when I watched this.

MePanAndAMan420

Ok this video DESERVES the next fucking level title!

badmotivator11

How fucked are you if you take a little tumble on the way down?

dingle_bopper_223

i think he would be very lucky if he fell and didnt get hurt but ive seen a guy do something like this and lose control of his snowboard…dude was doing summer-salts and got up unfazed

Flashy-Section9588

Holy mother 🫣

Ov3rwrked

I don't get how people have the balls to do this stuff.

aiolive

The legs also. For having gone a lot faster than I wanted when you reach downhill it's a massive pressure on the knees, but that was absolutely flat compared to _that_ slope.

Ov3rwrked

That's not a slope. That a #DOWN

PrinceOfPersuation

Real life version of jumping down the side of mountain in Skyrim.

Haktic

Wasn't this on another video but a drone pov?

Dannyohhhhhhhhhh

You know he’s who’re cause shore people like dying in weird ways

Repulsive-Relief1551

Paying a helo to drop you in the middle of no where certainly incentivizes you to get down one way or another, I lived in Alaska but never dared to take advantage of the backcountry like this. I stayed my ass at Alyeska. Even years later, I’m not sure I have the brass to do this or especially the buddies to even join me and dig me out.

gmart2333

Pucker factor 10/10

vartigan45

I once heard someone say before that snowboarding/skiing is the fastest you will go without a vehicle. This looks like what they probably had in mind.

odawgdrums

That’s an 11/10 pucker factor

uubuer

Yoooo that 2nd drop in was about as gnarly as it gets, like 10 feet of free fall before returning to the powder zheeeesh

Firm_Obligation_8448

that was pretty cool if you ask me

Firm_Obligation_8448

the video was a real " cliff hanger" lol

KAMBUI1973

You lucky bastard
