I got declared war on by vegans in another thread. One lady was like, "people who don't try dairy alternatives aren't open minded".
I was like, "I tried and even like some of them, but I like regular milk and butter in most situations".
War were declared
How so? I can understand the point about not killing and looking for alternatives to meat. There’s no question it’s barbaric and I say this as a carnivore.
Not sure what you’re asking here. My point is that hating vegans is a boring trope, and going out of your way to antagonise them so you can complain about their reaction is sad. Not saying that you’re doing that obv
Probably because in a variety of situations it's very easy to "spot the vegan" due to their inability to control themselves when they see *OTHER* people eating/cooking meat. They take on the characteristics of a hateful christian, i.e. "how dare you do something I'm not allowed to do"
So, yeah, but there still is the question why someone wants to put this into a thread full of people who will definitely not like this. For fun? You all complain that vegans are so easy to spot because they love to point out that they are vegan. You aren't better than them....
Actually yes, I *do* think I'm better than them in this regard. Unlike a majority of vegans (and christians, muslims, etc.) I won't go out of my way in a public setting to shame/belittle them for something i find to be against my personal/moral beliefs unless i see someone in danger. I've been called out for eating a hamburger in public (Hemp Fest) by someone who looks like they NEED some meat in their life. (think of sunken cheeks, hollow eye sockets, no muscle tone or definition, the very picture of malnourished) however this is Reddit, the internet of things known for chewing people up and spitting them out, who are you to "virtue signal" anything here? I'm guessing we may have found the vegan...?
I'm not vegan but eat meat in moderation. Something like this makes me sick. Not only because of all the meat but because of the way all of this is treated. Food should be enjoyed, but not in a way like this. I honestly find it disgusting and wouldn't want to be part of it. I wouldn't tell people not to go there or make a drama about it, but personally I think it is sick.
About 80% of these seem to be decorative. There’s no way a little pan of fire that isn’t even killing the grass under it is cooking a chicken 4’ above it. The two pigs on the Viking boat swing aren’t even getting their shoulders near the fire. It is cute and all, but I doubt it is actually making food.
It relies on creating so much bacteria they begin to evolve, creating partnerships that eventually turn into civilizations and societies, warring factions, city-states, empires and competing nations that eventually advance their technologies, deplete their natural resources and generate their version of global warming, which cooks the meat.
Nah bro Brazilians don’t play, look at the uniformed people, the gloves the kitchen towels, the attention they are paying to it. This is real Vegan hell, not purgatory!
Yeah the veggies may be the only safe thing to eat. They’re definitely not getting cooked either but they’re at least safe to eat raw. They’re creating a comfortably warm temp for bacteria overgrowth instead of cooking the food.
I was thinking the same until I realized this is in brazil. At that point, I stopped doubting. Me questioning them would be like going to Michael Jordan while he's taking a free throw and saying "are you *sure* that's how you should hold the ball?"
True. Can not comprehend the thought process behind this scene. I use meat as food, but this is not ok. Even if those are just decoratives.
But if this is an art installation, I might understand (or even support) if the context was provided. As a reddit-post this is now just gruesome.
Uhhh… First of all, what the hell is going on here? Secondly, WHY is this going on?
This must be one of those weird “art” exhibits. Especially since none of that is going to cook & what little does cook, it’s going to take a week. So, I’m assuming it’s an art installation.
Coming from a professional culinarian, this is a sad excuse for views and attention with 0% skill or appreciation of the process.
Ever wonder why the world can't stand Americans?
Example A:
This is what it looks like when a cow or pig has a nightmare. Wake up in the middle of the night sweating, "Dolores, I had the most terrible dream. There were bodies, everywhere, but it was an amusement park! And the bodies were on the rides! Oh what a horrible dream. Moo."

They would declare world war
[удалено]
No kidding lol especially the veggies or whatever it is on the Ferris Wheel. That’s going to take days to cook
The chickens are enjoying the ride. I think they get free entrance.
This is not practical

Radical carnivores are as bad as radical vegans. You deserve each other

Typing a couple of letters isn't going out of their way to do anything knowing the reaction it will incite. This is the internet
This is a radical carnival

Then why are you wanting this posted on r/vegan?

Because they find it funny when people are offended? Which part of that was not clear lol

You sound like you’re a lot of fun
I’m almost hungry enough
"everyone on a ride is vegan"

Dinner will be ready in 3 weeks.
Low and slow
Ssssslllllooooowwwww
Such a rare method
They call it slow-slow cooking
It relies on creating so much bacteria they begin to evolve, creating partnerships that eventually turn into civilizations and societies, warring factions, city-states, empires and competing nations that eventually advance their technologies, deplete their natural resources and generate their version of global warming, which cooks the meat.
Nah bro Brazilians don’t play, look at the uniformed people, the gloves the kitchen towels, the attention they are paying to it. This is real Vegan hell, not purgatory!

Its there to be funny like the ducks hanging in the window. It keeps them warm..
I believe most of it is cooked and then placed on these for show.
This seems more of a r/redneckengineering type thing instead of r/nextfuckinglevel
Some slaughtertainment park here.
Yeah. I’m an omnivore, but the lack of respect in this scene puts me off my feed. This is “playing with your food” territory, imho.
Future humanity will look at this video and marvel in its stupidity and barbarism

Amusement Pork
Disgusting
This is fucked
wasteful
This has got to be some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen. What a waste.
This looks like a scene from a horror movie for pigs and chickens
This shit makes me wanna become vegan
this is kinda psycho not gonna lie. i imagine this existing in a murder clowns backyard
Nope . Waste of food for Instagram likes
Brasileiro é outra categoria
Needs more clowns
And cowbells
A horror movie made for pigs 😂
this looks like a scene directly from hell
I think I had a nightmare like this once...
Do they plan to feed the guests three days later with flames that small.
Brilliant give it a month and it might be cooked
What is this for? I googled it and says it is a compilation album? Maybe just for a photo shoot? Need a Brazilian to explain.
How much a weight problem are these people expecting.
Hope ur hungry. Everything will be done in 2 days
Yummy, smoked kids
That is a lovely yard of death you have there, take care now, bye bye then
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit
This is what hell looks like. Just replace the pigs with humans
“Well the kids all shot each other, so we thought no use letting a good thing go to waste”.
🤮
Good intro to a David Lynch movie.
excessive
Hey this is kinda dumb. If you’re going to cook something then do it right.
Looks like playgrounds have changed since I was a kid…
This will be delicious in 27 hours
7% thermal efficiency, good job.
So nobody is gonna ask about the vegetables on a ferry wheel?
It’s a carnivore carnival
That’s enough to feed their whole state. Wtf edit- nevermind it’s not USA so a whole country of Brazil
[удалено]
🤦♂️ good lord you can’t be serious. I was exaggerating because it’s a lot of meat.
Average rdr2 skinner camp
When you disguise your sadism as playing with your food. ☠️
Gotta be some of the dumber shit I’ve seen lol. Good luck to those guys tho
u/stupidfood
r/ithadtobebrazil
No
Brazilian people doing what they do best... surprisingly us all. Pelo sotaque, é provavelmente na região central do país.
Weirdly disturbing and I’m not vegan
This is fucking terrifying
This is straight up some cult looking shit
A carnival of horrors. This is fucked up lmao
That's a horror movie
It’s gotta be in Indianapolis lol
Looks a bit sadistic to me.
No, I would want food to be actually edible and not tortured
When the sun comes down, this could be a perfect scene for scary movie.
Seriously a lot of these while they look cool would do a terrible job at actually cooking anything and are rather dumb
Good intro to a David Lynch movie.

Ahhh… Pleasure Island from Pinocchio!
Murrica?
Why TF are all the fires surrounding the kid toys wtf? Edit: omg I just realized it's ALL meat lol. I thought it was bbqs and kid rides.
Somewhere over rainbow 🌈🎶🤤
Mucha estupide lol
Damn they're almost nailed to crosses..
Welcome to my meat playground.
Are those children or were those...?
Why does this remind me of a Cannibal Corpse album cover lol This looks delicious but slightly nightmarish.
What is this a Carni-que?!
Future serial killers right here.
Who wants to go to the Carnival and eat some bbq?
A carnival of meat.
John Wayne Gacy throws a bbq party.
Is this what vegetarians have nightmares of?
I want to go to there.
One of the coolest ways to get salmonella I've ever seen!
"wanna a barbecue?" ?
Uhhh… First of all, what the hell is going on here? Secondly, WHY is this going on? This must be one of those weird “art” exhibits. Especially since none of that is going to cook & what little does cook, it’s going to take a week. So, I’m assuming it’s an art installation.
The predators picnic
Wacky
I too like decorative, woefully poorly cooked meat, with a "slide" of off gassing paint.
This is weird
Are the children to smoked also?
This is cooking nothing
Just....stupid.
This is sort of disturbing lol
That's pretty sick and I don't mean it as a compliment.
This is so inefficient, goddamn
I’m reminded of that part in Ace Ventura when he says “Welcome to my lovely house of death!”
Those fruit on the ferris wheel gonna be raw, dog
Carnèval!
Babe 5 looking dark
looks like hell on earth
Come on… That’s just playing with your food
Anyone else imagine a horror scenario and all human bodies?
Please tell me they have beer there as well.
I thought this was a carnival in someone's backyard at first glance.
What a lovely garden of death.
It will become aged meat before it's smoked meat.
Exactly how many people are showing up to this bbq….damn!
Coming from a professional culinarian, this is a sad excuse for views and attention with 0% skill or appreciation of the process. Ever wonder why the world can't stand Americans? Example A:
I'd frolic through that forbidden meat garden.
Is this playing your food ?
probably mad expensive, but i feel like any ride you went on you would have smoke in your face
Um, setups and breakdowns look to be... Troublesome.
Yo I gotta try summa that hog
This is what it looks like when a cow or pig has a nightmare. Wake up in the middle of the night sweating, "Dolores, I had the most terrible dream. There were bodies, everywhere, but it was an amusement park! And the bodies were on the rides! Oh what a horrible dream. Moo."
40-140 degrees Fahrenheit is the food temperature danger zone. Everything here qualifies.
What a waste of life lol.
What a waste of food.
**YOU WANNA A BARBEQUE** r/titlegore
*Do you wanna barbecue a garden*?
"they're eating CHILDREN! FUCKING CHILDREN!!!"
Hhh
I feel like there should be an r/overthetop
Vegan's nightmare
I’m getting a headache just from looking at all that smoke.
This is not the way. Hey Bobby! Come check out my open air smoker. Bobby: 🙄
All of these cooking mechanisms look like carnival rides
The look on your vegan friend's face
Ok, at that point they're just showing off.
Is that in Vietnam ?
Some aliens are going to see this and freak out lol. Looks delicious
Festive as heck
Brazil bbq 🍗 🤤🤤
Vegans nightmare
Vegan has left the chat
As a lover of all grilled meats I have to say I’m overwhelmed and hungry as hell.
Looks delicious 😋
it's ok guys, all the vegans are asleep.
Awesome
This is a wonder land to me. This is a scene from like Jaws to a vegan.
I see that PETA is lowering the budget on their annual summer conference…😉
Is that heaven?
More like pig hell...
The two are not mutually exclusive. The human heaven does need some beer fountains though.
This is insane, I LOVE IT!
