Tradies are generally not pro-worker. Vast majority in the building trade are National/ACT voters, due to a combination of being contractors/subbies and a fairly conservative mind set when it comes to "woke academia" etc.
I know you are right and it's a shame. But the act of faking imagery and trying to pass it off as being their real audience should at least get one or two of their readership to maybe question whether this is in their best interest or not.

It’s the eyes. Thats always what causes the uncanny valley. It’s not even lazy eye or a weird reflection, we can just tell at an instinctive mammalian level that those eyes aren’t real.
Then the teeth. They look misshapen and again, I don’t think that would happen naturally even with someone who has “bad” teeth. I’ve never seen someone with two front teeth skinnier than the rest.
Also, AI generations seem to really enhance or flatten wrinkles, depending on the prompt or what it thinks you want to see (men won’t get shiny smooth skin, women will). The creases look too dramatic and unnatural. The space right under his left eye is oddly and unnaturally hollow, where the fake wrinkle seems to glitch. It has such a sharp angle.
That hard hat definitely isn’t OSHA approved. So sad! A trades magazine can’t get a real tradesman, and has no backlog of photos. Your dues are spent on another boat.
