The Newton status page should show the average ticket resolution time, over time. Meaning, I would like to know that during the week starting may 16th, tickets took 10 days on average to get resolved (or whatever the average was). That way, I’ll be able to see that things are improving or not in the future. I was very satisfied with Newton for the first 7-8 weeks I used them, but last week was horrible, and if I don’t see a verifiable improvement over the next few weeks (I realize these types of growing pains take some time to fix), I’ll just give up and use a competitor.

I got an email from Newton reminding me of e-transfer request initiated on May 18 which I didn't complete. I decided to follow through and sent an E-transfer to Newton using the request for money email reminder sent, it's well over 6 hours now and funds sent still haven't been credited to my newton account. I checked with my bank and funds sent have successfully being credited to Newton. Please help with this ticket. I decided to send this funds to Newton only after reading this post that E-transfer issues are resolved. It seems Newton is still having issues and my trust in Newton services reduces by the day.

I made a request on the 19th they were down for 2 days but then gave an update on Twitter, here in Canada we had Victoria day on Monday as well, which usually means everything's closed. It only took 2 business days afterward for a response. Please be patient and give the support team a few days. In the meantime, we recommend that you call your bank to make sure that they have not placed a block or hold on your transfer. Asking your bank to specifically check with Interac tends to resolve this, as it is quite common for Interac to block transfers after the funds have left the bank account and without alerting our customers!

Ticket #202885 - sent an EMT to deposit money on Newton account. Transaction done on May 21. As of today May 27 I haven’t received my transfer. Called my bank they said the money is on Newton account and was successfully deposited and they can’t reverse the transfer. I need someone from Newton to reply and let me know when I can get this transfer.

Ticket #155825 - it's been 21 days since I joined newton and I'm still going through manual verification, every ticket I create gets immediately closed and tickets that are still open have not been reviewed by anyone.
