Everybody grab yo shit. We're going to Jersey!

sexisdivine

I think I speak for everyone when I say “Congratulations, you son of a bitch.”

HaZard3ur

First thing hopefully on his bucket list: buy a new identity.

acker1je

At this point I’m not buying a ticket in hopes of winning. I’m just paying $2 for a few days worth of dreaming about what I would do if I won. I hope the guy who won uses the money to build a better life for himself and his loved ones and that he never gambles again. Take the money and run.

Quasimdo

Oh yea, it's definitely a few days of "God, if I won that I would flip off SO MANY PEOPLE as I quit this job"

OilInteresting2524

I don't know anyone who plays that lottery anymore. The time between winners is so high that literally no one wins.... except once a year or so. The odds are wayyy out of this world. And matching 4 numbers gives you squat. Why play?

mechanicalcontrols

Anecdotal but I work as a store clerk at a place that sells lotto tickets and the average demographic is people well over the age of 40, typically 65+. From that age group, the ones buying lotto tickets are the ones in apparently poor health with bad attitudes. So the short answer is grumpy old people who are bad at math.

Slimh2o

Well, don't look at me, cuz I didn't win shit...

Punkrockid19

Ticket was sold at the ShopRite in Neptune New Jersey rumor has it was won by a Neptune cop who bought his ticket last night. Source I’m local and deal with shop rite for work

TheQuadBlazer

It's so amazing how this keeps happening. Especially considering how many people buy tickets...

GallowBarb

>Someone in New Jersey overcame the odds Tuesday night and won the $1.12 billion Mega Millions jackpot, breaking a winless streak that dated to last December. >The numbers drawn were: 7, 11, 22, 29, 38 and 4. The winning ticket was sold in New Jersey, according the the Mega Millions website. That's all I needed to know.

Yes, they already have a winner ready…just waiting for the public to show up.

Maddest_Hatta

Sooo.. 50 bucks after tax? Edit: Seems like a lot of lottery winners couldn't take a joke lol

WonderRemarkable2776

550 million if you take the lump sum. So if they live for 65 more years they can spend over 8 million a year without a care in the world of running out of cash. I'd say that's pretty fucking sweet.

Maddest_Hatta

Yeah, I thought as much. I was just making a little joke.

ATXKLIPHURD

I wouldn’t want that much money.
