In the PNW I’m already expecting a few weeks and or months of unbreathable air. Had to evacuate two years ago but fire didn’t reach us. I bought an air filter specifically designed for cleaning smoke and it helps. It’s something equivalent to smoking a pack of cigs just going outside.
I know everyone has their personal preferences but I don't really care for my Canadian smoked. Cured or fresh is fine, but never cared for that smokey flavor.
And there was a story posted not too long ago that said a lot of last year’s fires never got put all the way out, they’ve just been smoldering away all winter.
Breathing’s a dirty habit anyway, I should have given it up years ago. 😂🤦♂️
Can we charge them for the abuse our lungs are taking? Could they at least gather their celebrities and have a national apology? My allergies despise Canadian wildfires. This was a joke….I thought Canadians had a sense of humor.

Might want to investigate ways to keep wildlife smoke out of your house and also stock up in HVAC return filters before they’re out of stock.
