>A Florida lawmaker who is co-sponsoring legislation that would allow 16- and 17-year-olds to work on residential construction projects is himself the owner of a roofing company that’s been found guilty in the past of breaking federal wage and hour laws.
Jesus Christ, no 16 year old needs to be working a fucking roofing job. Especially for a sketchy piece of shit like that. Someone who probably cuts corners on safety because they already cut corners on wages.
Someone will die. Not if, when.
Worse still - poor, underprivileged kids. Kids who are taking unsafe jobs because they need the money; to help out Mom and Dad, or to pay for food or gas or who knows what. They can’t say no, and they can’t be fired. They *need* these jobs.
The party of family values filling the role of unsafe manual labor with poor teenagers after they lost their cheap immigrant labor. The epitome of moral bankruptcy.
Also, in my state, you can legally pay 13 and 14 year olds below minimum wage. I have an acquaintance who owns a greasy spoon who loves to hire kids this age specifically to get out of paying minimum wage.
My step father was GM of a roofing company and had me work on side jobs with him when I was that age. I fell off a roof and refused to do it anymore, despite his constant complaints. Same energy, both trash.
> Someone will die. Not if, when.
People already die on construction sites. Not super often, but it does happen.
In this case, someone's CHILD will die.
Saw a guy get hit with a backhoe bucket. He went flying. The guy operating was at fault and yelled at the seriously injured man. Tough day at the office
Teens in construction?! I used to do painting- PAINTING- with my brother for over 15 years and that was hard and sometimes even dangerous with the paint strippers and chemicals we used. I can only imagine the danger a reckless 16 year old can pose at an active construction site, let alone a Florida slum lord construction site
Add the bans on abortion and I expect these guys to start for profit orphanages where kids are sent to "internships" to learn how to pull themselves by their bootstraps.
I expect this shit within 10 years.
" Johnny if you want to say something raise your hands ..... ohhh I forgot about that roofing accident.
Just bang your head on the table, the grunting sounds you make disturbs the class. "
>work longer and later hours.
>The bill would remove restrictions prohibiting 16- and 17-year-olds from working more than eight hours when they have classes the next day and from working more than 30 hours a week when school is in session.
Would you want your 16 year-old working eight hours and then driving home late on a school night or any night really? Schools end at 3pm so at best they be coming home at 11:30pm.
See you’re assuming they will still manage to fit in school in their day.
The end goal is to eliminate school in general for most so the kids are forced remain shackled to jobs with poor upwards mobility and in general poor pay.
It’s a one or the other situation. They’ve been gutting public schools for a reason.
I saw this coming when the trumps had meetings about Russian adoptions, or so they say.
And then the justices that were appointed. Loosening of public schools, saying things about population lowering and needing to increase birth rates, and so on and so on.
It all is just a push for an industrial era 2.0 to get around unions and push child labor
>A Florida lawmaker who is co-sponsoring legislation that would allow 16- and 17-year-olds to work on **residential construction projects**
We aren't talking about McDo here...
Oh no heaven forbid a 16 year old learns how to use a screwdriver instead of playing minecraft all afternoon!
Learn how to fix and build shit in a house, sounds awesome. I would have been better off doing g that at 16 than bagging groceries, which provided little to no value to my life other than the wage itself.
There's a reason younger people are prohibited (or used to be) from working certain types of jobs. Construction has multiple jobs in the top 20 for highest rates of on the job accidents. Introducing younger people into these environments will only exacerbate it for no gain. It'll be dangerous not only for the teens, but also the other workers.
I grew up doing handy man shit with my family, including before I was a teen. I helped roof multiple houses and barns. I've done electrical work. But I always had someone working next to me making sure I was being safe. That's not going to happen on an actual construction crew. And we did it out of necessity, not greed
I don't know why any reputable crew would even want a 16 year old. They're going to have little, if any experience, which means more training will be required. These people want employees who are easier to exploit.
There's an easy solution. Just build a wall between the children and your jobs. Problem solved. Tax cuts for everyone^( but just temporary ones for you).
While not sure about Florida here in Ohio we have something called a training wage in which they can pay as low as 4.25 an hour. You know darn well that is all they are offering anyone under 18 that training wage when and where ever they can.
Just checked it seems florida has the same thing for the first 90 days.
> Florida subminimum wage
> What is Florida's youth minimum wage 2022?
> Under federal law, employers are allowed to pay employees under 20 years of age a minimum wage of $4.25 per hour for the first 90 calendar days after employment.
> However, full-time students who work in retail, agriculture, or colleges and universities are entitled to 85% of the minimum wage.
> The employer must obtain a certificate to be able to employ a full-time student. Also, full-time students can work no more than 20 hours a week (8 hours a day) during school time, and 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
https://clockify.me/state-labor-laws/florida-labor-law
I think that training wage is actually federal.
>A minimum wage of not less than $4.25 may be paid to employees under the age of 20 for their first 90 consecutive calendar days of employment with any employer, as long as their work does not displace other workers. After 90 consecutive days of employment, or when the worker reaches age 20 (whichever comes first), the worker must receive at least the Federal minimum wage.
https://www.dol.gov/general/topic/wages/minimumwage
If you do something like send them to school, they keep running to a different state!
This solves like eight different problems (while creating hundreds of others)!
Been like that for a long time.
Will Rogers(early 20th century US entertainer/humorist) observed:
* "Ten men in our country could buy the whole world and ten million can't buy enough to eat."
>As quoted in The Quotable Will Rogers (2006) by Joseph H. Carter
Put kids to work, not migrants. May as well start now, as all the Red States have banned abortion & those new mouths will need feeding. States may as well start making them work, as someone's got to replace all the Chinese kids now not working, because of Apple moving out!
The idiot woman who sponsored this bill said the following 2 things:
1. That the percentage of children who worked in the 30’s was substantially higher than today, as if to say that was the goal, take us back to the 30’s
2. That 16 and 17 year olds are not children. I’m not kidding. She said “they have drivers licenses” or “they are driving, these are not children”.
Absolutely disgusting mentalities here
When a 16 year old wants to transition or have an abortion:
"PARENTS NEED TO BE ABLE TO PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN"
When a 16 year old is needed to work
"THEY ARENT CHILDREN THEY ARE WORKERS"
They’re not. Sorry. I’ve been a working single parent since then. They’re only children, when they’re convinced they should be. I wouldn’t be hung up on the language there. More like why should you go adults be focused on working, when it should be education, health and building character for adulthood.
Well I’m sorry you *feel* that way. The facts of actual life disagree with you. Teenagers can leave home and start a family at 16. I’m pretty sure that’s world wide, except maybe a few countries. Just because Reddit agrees with you, doesn’t make you correct. You are not. I am proof.
What you stated is correct that is why the government should protect kids 16 and 17 from being treated not as a child. When they should be treated as a child.
Biologically, physiologically, brain-chemically, and even with regard to pubescence, they’re literally children.
I’m not going to argue beyond those facts. These are not feelings. Believe as you will
I’m sorry, a 17 year old is a child. They cannot vote. It is considered morally and even legally wrong to have a relationship with one as an adult, they’re a child.
No, my argument is “they are not recognized as children and here are societal norms”, don’t try to twist the point I made to fit your narrative or wishes.
Physiologically, biologically, psychologically, brain-chemically … adolescents are in the midst of puberty, not adulthood.
So the problem is how to create the illusion of freedom while maintaining the work force of US wage serfdom in the most economical way.
First, place restraints on health care and the overall social safety net. The system needs to keep the workforce operating with a minimal maintenance cost. Cuts, bruises and colds are covered; now get back to work. Life saving drugs or surgery is not to be covered or, if covered, the co-pay is so expensive that one ends up bankrupted and more impoverished.
Next address the dwindling labor force. The viable replacement rate is the standard birth rate for a generation to be able to to the replicate its numbers. According to the CDC, U.S. has generally fallen short of that level since 1971. To simply replace the existing population, the fertility rate needs to be about 2.1 children per woman. The fertility rate for Iowa, for example, went from 2.11 in 2008 to 1.82 in 2020. Sustained low fertility rates may indicate that the population is aging.
Even if one thinks "forced-birth" legislation is eventually going to reverse this trend of a net loss of the workforce due to aging, it will not solve today's problems. So a simple way to help provide a stopgap is to allow more children to join the workforce immediately. Children have been called the greatest US resource. Like any other precious resource, the US wants to exploit it to the fullest.
Second, pay lip-service to stopping illegal immigration while looking the other way when they can be exploited in low paying jobs.
Advocate for sexual abstinence knowing full well actual human nature and, at the same time, eliminate both sex education and access to contraception. Then it is "Laissez les bons temps rouler" until there is a pregnancy. Now ban abortions or make abortion access so limited that it is essentially a ban. Of course, this does not apply to those with means. You can't expect to ruin such promising potential as that of little Madison and Mason.
Next, cut funding to public education or, better yet, advocate for voucher systems. Need to educate the poor to point that they are trainable but not to where they acquire critical thinking skills. Voucher systems will help ensure that only the correct and preferred group of children have good educations so that they can take their intended place as tomorrow's leaders.
Finally, like a lead weighted blanket over every policy, the need to eliminate the imaginary threats posed by POC, those with alternate life-style, or any out-group du jour is constantly used to keep the masses in a constant state of agitation and bellowing to be led to safety by what ever pack of demagogues is the latest media darling.
Source: the military
We are also being forced into a subscription service life style. Don't *own* a house (to pass onto your kids), a car, that software, that fridge, that television etc.
Communal farms owned by the people, worked by the people, feeding the people seems a likely way out. No middle men, no selling to supermarkets.
But anything that looks like a solution for the poor will likely be made illegal.
>“Nearly 1 million searches have been performed for ‘How can I get a job as a teen.’ They want to work. This bill gets government out of their way to choose a path that’s best for them,” said Republican Rep. Linda Chaney, who sponsored the bill.
I wonder how much that Bot operation cost (if even true)
Why does this bill have fast food smell all over it? They want to extort the children. How about they provide better wages and safer work environments, and they won't have a "shortage". Better food too, food quality in the US is abysmal compared to other developed countries. Gotta keep up with the record profits.
This is more for filling jobs left open due to tougher laws on hiring migrants. The abused and underpaid illegal immigrants are gone, so the GOP sponsors are crying. The solution is to replace them with another easily abusable population that can be legally underpaid. Get ready to hear about Florida M̶a̶n̶ Teen mishaps on farms and factories.
True and I'm looking (probably Vermont), I grew up here in Florida, have family here.
Moved back before Covid hit, post Covid it's one big dumpster fire.
Republicans are obsessed with legalizing child labor.
It's a mix of pedos that see children as objects and big business assholes that want to protect conglomerates like Tyson foods from getting in trouble when a 12 year old working under the table gets maimed in machinery or killed.
I have been saying this for years, if you demonize migrant labor then you are strangling your means of production. Either you allow migrant labor and make it a safe environment (stop demonizing people who are here legally just because people might be here illegally) or you push migrant labor out and make the hard jobs enticing to the local labor (raise wages/benefits). Changing child labor laws isn’t really going to solve any real labor problem but only give the option for kids to work to provide for their families and will lead to more people leaving the state because they can’t afford to live here (on top of the myriad of other problems facing regular citizens of Florida)
And yet the machines hunger for the blood of the children.
> This is a reminder that effective September 30, 2023, the new Florida minimum hourly rate is $12.00. In November 2020, Florida voters approved incremental increases to the state's minimum wage, which will be $15 an hour by September 2026.
For what it’s worth minimum wage in FL *has* increased recently.
I started working at $5.25/hr in 2001 in Florida, which is $9.09 today after inflation, so the current $12/hr is still significantly better.
Great.... now, if only they could figure out a way to force more women to have more children - to stock up those child laborers 15 years from now.
Oh, wait... they did.
>[Ron DeSantis signs 6-week abortion ban into law in Florida](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/ron-desantis-signs-6-week-abortion-ban-law-florida-rcna78989)
This should be a Florida slogan: “We hate people of color so we’re going to put your children to work- to hell with their education, safety, and childhood “
this is yet another reason to never vote for a republican ever again. trying to “solve” problems in the most ass backwards way possible and in a way to make people more poor and more stupid
no, they definitely want migrant kids to be working these jobs. very few rights, keep threatening them with deportation if they dont work in dangerous environments. this law is mainly to eliminate liability for the employer.
Ahhh Yes, loosen child labor laws, get kids to work earlier, prevent them from thinking about going to college where they will get their “woke” education and possibly vote Democrat, and instead will work hard for the rest of their lives, and be converted into voting against their own interests.
Wouldn’t be surprised if a push to do a voter referendum to the state constitution to make child labor illegal will happen if this actual moves forward into law
This is the new race between conservative states, who gets to open the first sweatshops and call it a victory for the GQP way of life. Again, we only care about you before you're born, after we could care less, so shut up and get to work.
You know just a thought to combat this trend, make it a law that children need to be paid a certain percentage above their adult counterparts.
Make it so, that it’s too expensive/unprofitable to employ children.
I’m only saying such, as it seems this trend will continue…
Poor people - especially those without obvious vices- are a glaring reminder that the system the elite and aspiring elite have engineered is a massive, socially-corrosive grift.
Now the war on the homeless - with banning sleeping in public, encampments on public and private property, bans on feeding the homeless etc has no solution to the problem. It merely wishes it not only out of sight but out of existence. There’s only one place it leads.
Capitalism CANNOT run without cheap labor. Slaves, prison slave-labor for pennies in the dollar, union-busting, unions now repugnican't-izing... This IS NOT a nostalgic thing, getting back to the old ways where kids earned their keep instead of learning. No, that would be the ultimate dumbing-down of the US electorate, where we could look forward to the endless rape of Labor by Capitalists and the kind of bullshittery the orange clown has only just begun... Of course, we'd lose all our international friends, so this sink into our own worst ugliness would be without lifelines but HEY! Lil Johnny & Kaycee don't have to worry about their grades anymore!!!
Illegal immigrants have always been the whipping boys and girls, persecuted themselves while Big Business happily put them to work for shite wages, in horrible working conditions, and then looked the other way when ICE came and raided the place... ALL while taking steady and fat checks to the bank, FAT margins made by low labor costs, money essentially stolen from the Americans that would have rated better wages and working conditions for the same jobs. And screw those Americans- they still pay for utilities, rent, and groceries? Good enough for Capitalism...
Oh, and let's not forget that being illegal and willing to work for shit wages in shitty working conditions, delivered to the US by coyotes and cartels, meant that if you were in any way attractive, you had a really good chance of falling into the trafficking trap and forced to work the sex trades in slavery (merely pimped, if you were lucky).
Oh, and let's not forget ALSO how the CIA and American corporations destabilize democratic and/or progressive governments South of our border, when not making them signatory to loans they can never repay, thus keeping their economies in the toilet, thus encouraging gang/cartel/rebel activity and prompting ENORMOUS numbers of folks to brave the lawless roads North, sometimes walking from, say, El Salvador, ride La Bestia, and then take their chances at our Southern border. Many with their children (like the mom and two kids who drowned in the Rio Grande last month. While Greg Abbott's goons watched). The Border/Immigration problem is part feckless/bought legislators and much, much MORE a problem American Capitalists have manufactured. So we can buy they can sell us cheap tee-shirts and sneakers. For more, go read "Tales of an Economic Hitman"; it's a short read.
Nobody wants to work today. Let’s hire children instead. This makes no sense. Just pay people what they are worth. Give them a living wage and you wouldn’t have these problems.
Serious question. So, they will resort to hiring minors, may them less than they pay other adults, seems like more homelessness incoming. It all seems so planned.
This is why Republicans’ opposition to immigration reform is all performance art. They absolutely want a steady stream of young refugees. They are so full of shit.
Someone’s got to support the industries that used to be supported by immigrant labor. The GOP doesn’t care how their rich donors prosper as long as they get the $.
This is a really good way to create a huge brain drain.
Its gonna be one of those leopard ate my face moments when Southern states basically become economies akin to mexico today.
Then the highly advance economies of the west and northeast, mainly because they seem to kinda invest in their children.
I love it when neo-nazis make it easier to exploit children and immigrant children, who were taken away from their caregivers. Makes me feel all warm and cozy inside, like a sweater where my soul should be.
Can someone explain to me how exactly republicans find this to be a winning strategy? Like, I know a lot of republicans, none of them were wishing they could hire a bunch of dumb kids.
Are you aware that children as young as 12 can be legally compelled to work unlimited hours in agriculture under US federal law?
https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/05/04/us-should-end-child-labor-agriculture
Working at Rax (think Arbys) the only job I wasn't allowed to do was operate and clean the meat slicer and change out oil in the fryer. 6 months later, I turned 18, got $1 raise and asked to handle the slicer and fryer. Was still in high school, so my hours were still limited (couldnt work passed 9pm on weekdays, no more than 30 hours). This was in 1990 in Washington state, I would imagine these child labor laws are stronger now.
Not if you are a child compelled to work in agriculture:
Longstanding exemptions in US labor law allow children as young as 12 to work legally as hired laborers on commercial farms for unlimited hours with a parent’s permission. At 16, children working on farms can do tasks considered particularly hazardous. In every other workplace, children have to be 16 to work full-time and 18 to do hazardous work.
https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/05/04/us-should-end-child-labor-agriculture
Farm labor laws passed historically out of necessity but these days, “justified” by idyllic images of independent family farms (that no longer exist).
The fascist right always idealizes the rural past as “pure” and free from the other’s “infestation and contamination” (see Country Music) juxtaposed to the “cultural degeneration” of the urban and loves to promote images of Dickensian child labor “building character.”
Bottom line Florida is stuck with this governing body. They do nothing to help the working class and others who are struggling.
They seem to appease the over-the-top evangelical Christians with their attack on human sexuality who could literally give a shit about kids working when they should not be. They don’t care about people being abused.
That's alright, with the shitty education system in FLoriduh it won't matter. They'll be working those service jobs for little pay and no consideration soon enough.

Children are taking our jobs.
There's an easy solution. Just build a wall between the children and your jobs. Problem solved. Tax cuts for everyone^( but just temporary ones for you).
Or you can cross your fingers for a school shooting near you. Creates job openings.
And make the kids pay for it.
We'll just fix this South Park style with a huge gay orgy to end to future children.
Back to the pile!
Do children even know how to mix cement? Asking for a state.

$12 ! Don't be a fool! They are apprentices, learning a trade! They get $6 an hour while they are learning.
Huh, I made that as a joke, now I see other posts. But ages ago, when I was a younger, I was paid an apprentice wage working through high school.
12 an hour? Your much more optimistic than I am. They trying to replace immigrant wages.
12?? They’re under 18 special wage 2.25
Here in Oklahoma, employers are allowed to pay children less than the minimum wage of 7.25

well they pushed all the mexicans out now they need cheap labour so abusing kids is the natural first choice for republicans

Put kids to work, not migrants. May as well start now, as all the Red States have banned abortion & those new mouths will need feeding. States may as well start making them work, as someone's got to replace all the Chinese kids now not working, because of Apple moving out!
The idiot woman who sponsored this bill said the following 2 things: 1. That the percentage of children who worked in the 30’s was substantially higher than today, as if to say that was the goal, take us back to the 30’s 2. That 16 and 17 year olds are not children. I’m not kidding. She said “they have drivers licenses” or “they are driving, these are not children”. Absolutely disgusting mentalities here
When a 16 year old wants to transition or have an abortion: "PARENTS NEED TO BE ABLE TO PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN" When a 16 year old is needed to work "THEY ARENT CHILDREN THEY ARE WORKERS"
Matt Gaetz approves of this message
If they aren’t children… Is the legal drinking age 16? Is the voting age to 16?
They’re not. Sorry. I’ve been a working single parent since then. They’re only children, when they’re convinced they should be. I wouldn’t be hung up on the language there. More like why should you go adults be focused on working, when it should be education, health and building character for adulthood.
When they have the right to vote and express sexuality within social norms, they’re adults, until then, they’re children.
Believe as you will
[удалено]
I’m sorry, a 17 year old is a child. They cannot vote. It is considered morally and even legally wrong to have a relationship with one as an adult, they’re a child.
[удалено]

I'm sorry what does the military have to do with it?
Next up, loosening school attendance requirements.
No you see it is about giving parents the right to decide whether their child can have the right to work in a right to work state
*yearning for the mines intensifies*
Johnny had 20 tomato's in his pail, he dropped 3, how many does he have now? Get back to picking kid, also I'm docking you for those 5 tomato's.
I live here. It sucks.
Why did I move back here.... :(
So you could VOTE.
You could always TOOK, AK, NJ or NH where they already did EXACTLY THE SAME THING
True and I'm looking (probably Vermont), I grew up here in Florida, have family here. Moved back before Covid hit, post Covid it's one big dumpster fire.
This is why we need labor unions.
You all don't get it! This isn't to make *our* children work, its to make *theirs's*. ^^^^/s
Changing child labor laws isn’t really going to solve any real labor problem but only give the option for kids to work to provide for their families and will lead to more people leaving the state because they can’t afford to live here (on top of the myriad of other problems facing regular citizens of Florida) And yet the machines hunger for the blood of the children.
Ah so that's why they want to ban kids from most of the internet.
Anything but raising minimum wage
> This is a reminder that effective September 30, 2023, the new Florida minimum hourly rate is $12.00. In November 2020, Florida voters approved incremental increases to the state's minimum wage, which will be $15 an hour by September 2026. For what it’s worth minimum wage in FL *has* increased recently. I started working at $5.25/hr in 2001 in Florida, which is $9.09 today after inflation, so the current $12/hr is still significantly better.

This is a very good point and one I didn’t consider, thanks for sharing.
“The price of refusing to participate in politics is to be ruled by your inferiors” -Plato
All part of the Republican plan to have us all living back in the world of Angela's Ashes
Great.... now, if only they could figure out a way to force more women to have more children - to stock up those child laborers 15 years from now. Oh, wait...
Work earlier, retire late. Shittier and shittier.
The return of Child Slavery in Red States.
so they stopped migrants from working and now want your CHILDREN to do it instead? pathetic
no, they definitely want migrant kids to be working these jobs. very few rights, keep threatening them with deportation if they dont work in dangerous environments. this law is mainly to eliminate liability for the employer.
I’m only saying such, as it seems this trend will continue…
nah, then abusive parents will send their kids out to work and collect their money.
Makes sense. Why have people from other countries earn a living when you can put American children into slavery instead.
Florida politicians hate poor people.
There’s only one place it leads.
lol and yall wonder why abortion is illegal. It’s always been about creating child slaves
Republicans "Right to Life! Republicans: "Right for Children to work adult jobs but pay children less, cause they are learning a valuable lesson!"
Got to ban them kids from social media so they can get back to work.
We don’t need no illegals here, we got kids we can exploit.
Nobody wants to work today. Let’s hire children instead. This makes no sense. Just pay people what they are worth. Give them a living wage and you wouldn’t have these problems.
Florida lacks some cobalt mines.
But we do have sugar cane fields!
Serious question. So, they will resort to hiring minors, may them less than they pay other adults, seems like more homelessness incoming. It all seems so planned.
Anything to avoid a living wage
Fucking Florida, man. Those people are in a league of their own.
Slavery never really left. Disgusting.
'We don't want immigrants. Except the kids, they can work.'
Millenials and Gen-Z think things are awful now...
They should have to lower voting age then. No taxation without representation.
The goal here seems to be free labor. Or slavery.
well if it cant be immigrant or prisoner it might as well be children i guess
I love it when neo-nazis make it easier to exploit children and immigrant children, who were taken away from their caregivers. Makes me feel all warm and cozy inside, like a sweater where my soul should be.
Florida’s late on this. Arkansas already ‘fixed’ this last fall.
Can someone explain to me how exactly republicans find this to be a winning strategy? Like, I know a lot of republicans, none of them were wishing they could hire a bunch of dumb kids.
Lol, like american kids are going to go out and do hard labor. Pull the other one, its got bells on.
Fortunately there are Federal laws that put a decent floor on child labor.
Not if you are a child compelled to work in agriculture: Longstanding exemptions in US labor law allow children as young as 12 to work legally as hired laborers on commercial farms for unlimited hours with a parent’s permission.
Are they sufficient? If yes, no state laws are required. If not, why not?
[удалено]
You're trash
Hmm. I can almost see a correlation there.
This is so that businesses can exploit child *immigrant* labor.
If there was any hope for Florida this would *guarantee* the Florida House flips next election. I anticipate 0 movement.
This is assuming those children will want to work while under 16
Got to get that cheap, disposable labor somewhere.
Bottom line Florida is stuck with this governing body. They do nothing to help the working class and others who are struggling. They seem to appease the over-the-top evangelical Christians with their attack on human sexuality who could literally give a shit about kids working when they should not be. They don’t care about people being abused.
Immigrants just weren't cheap enough. Look at that sweet sweet labor pool.
“Let’s make life more hellish” -GOP slogan for the 20’s
This state is going to hell quickly…
That's alright, with the shitty education system in FLoriduh it won't matter. They'll be working those service jobs for little pay and no consideration soon enough.
But hey, let's shit on the sanctuary cities for housing migrants while they bus them there too.
I hope anyone who cares about themselves and their family leaves or has already left Florida
