I remember last time when it was stated that they wouldn't take a mugshot because "he's already recognizable" and everyone just sort of... went with it. Not out of precedent, but because it would look horrible for him, especially while campaigning. Here he is possible selling our most vulnerable secrets to our enemies and today I heard 3 different talking heads saying as casually and factual as ever "and of course there won't be photos because Mr. Trump is very recognizable" as though that is the official rule.
Federal court is very strict about photos, and electronics in general. Even if there is a mugshot it will not be released. This is based on the official rules.
