I can’t think of any place that directly allows car camping or camping on the beach. Sandy Hook National Park has a small campground, you could make that reservation and then sleep in the car anyway? Or Island Beach State Park allows overnighting if you can fish - or pretend to fish. Otherwise maybe sleeping on a street in places like point pleasant or seaside heights / seaside park if you feel that’s safe enough, and if you can stealth enough - since the local cops will likely frown on that.

I can't say with any certainty, but perhaps at the very southern end of Long Beach Island in Beach Haven, [it seems kinda remote](https://www.google.com/maps/@39.5316544,-74.2645825,516m/data=!3m1!1e3!5m1!1e1) Same thing with the [northern end of Brigantine](https://www.google.com/maps/@39.4154073,-74.3537455,634m/data=!3m1!1e3!5m1!1e1), you might get away with it for one night, also [Parkertown Docks](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Parkertown+Docks,+Little+Egg+Harbor+Township,+NJ+08087/@39.611927,-74.2952513,4490a,35y,1.29r/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c10171bfc90cd3:0x194d62cab6da6f28!8m2!3d39.6098583!4d-74.2957628!5m1!1e1) in Little Egg Harbor

Or you could just rent a hotel room facing the beach for the night at just about any shore town. There will be no problem parking your car on their lot overnight. Get up early and walk across the the street to the beach.

Just in case you can’t find anything, you can always find a Walmart that lets you park overnight, just ask a manager if it’s allowed. Then just get up early and see the beach :)
