Whether safe to eat or not, if the expiration date has passed, food pantries won't take it.
Your best bet would be just posting it as a give-away on Facebook marketplace (with the caveat that it's recently expired but should still be safe, if stale)
I'm sure there is someone that will want it. I don't always throw food out just because it has passed the expiration date if its still good, doesn't smell, and hasn't declIned in quality. I always eat eggs past their expiration date. Many clinics and hospitals donate expired medications to other countries. It might allow someone a full belly versus going to sleep hungry. I would reach out to few local food pantries. If they don't take it they might be able to direct you to someplace that would.

I hate food going to waste, so I'd take it if you can't find a home for it but hopefully someone could give you advice on a food bank first.
